I saw the first one in the playstation adds for video games. I played the first one first, then I fell in love with the second one.

I knew about Spyro the whole time but it took until the Crash Bandicoot 'Fusion' crossover for me to go and buy one of the original games (I had played them before but didnt own any), and that was Spyro 2 since I was familiar with the characters like Ripto and Moneybags. Although I already had ETD, which must have put me off the series.
