I'm sure purple is the color of death in Japan I remember hearing some controversy of some game-related thing coming out in Japan that had to do with the color purple because it means bad luck there.

Dawn of the Dragon is the best Spyro game since the original trilogy.
Better? No.

The reason why Spyro is purple is because the producers(insomniac) originally wanted him green but he kept blending into the scenery, and they decided he would look good purple, because dragons are never purple, and he also didn't blend in to any scenery

They probably wanted Spyro to be unique, since most dragons aren't purple.

yeah in a book series {the dragon keeper trilogy] they have this imperial chinese castle thing and pretty much the higher class peeps wore purple and part of the castle interior and if im right it said purple was a imperial colour i think cause i read the book last year.

Well, they wanted to be original with him. Spyro is also the ONLY dragon of the series that's purple, they did it becuz they wanted the hero character to be unique and stand out in comparison to all other character.

Yeah...... but not quite the same shade of purple that Spyro is, however Spyro's whole game model is rather unique looking

He isn't really totally the same color as Spyro, his wings, horns and belly all have other colors, so you can't really compare this. But you're right, Spyro isn't the only purple dragon, however his appearance as a whole is quite unique

smilie Well, TBH, I don't see much rush in AHT. It seemed pretty polished to me. It just had... A few bugs.


It feels rushed to me. I haven't even completed it yet though, and I can't be bothered to.

Why do they always rush their games! However, I don't see much rush in AHT, I find it a pretty decent game, and I've played and completed it many times so far, never get tired of it.
