Ofcourse it does! Listen to the start of ANB (slight spoilers for those who don't have the game): "In the Year of the Dragon..."

See, that means ANB starts in the year of the dragon (NOTE: AN EVENT WHICH HAPPENS EVERY 12, SEE, 12, YEARS!!!). Spyro's egg is hatched not long after that, so that day is the first of his life. If you estimate, Spyro is pretty mature in that and I gotta go so I'll edit this post later...

What evidence do you have of Spyro being that age? Nothing says he's that age except yourself. Unless, I missed a part in one of the Spryo games.
