If he did it all in one day, I'd be concerned with Sierra and how they think overworking a small purple dragon is a good idea for storytelling.

If not, then I'd guess he did it in 4 days, but skipped the boring sleep and camping pieces. I hope it's that.

Darby, if Spyro did it all in one day in YotD, he should did it all in GtG in one year (Summer, Autumn, Winter), so... They're only homeworld's names for me. You can jump between homeworlds and Spyro will do it in week (jumping from Midday to Sunrise).

Well, I'm sure he is capable of doing it in one day. I mean, it only goes as fast as the person plays the game. So if we watched as a movie rather then played as a videogame, Spyro might go through things much faster and make better time then we do mucking around and healing him and stuff.
