Never seen Lord of the Rings... smilie

It kinda reminds me of Avatar: Legend of Aang.

Avatar:
A random boy is a special person born every thousand years or so who has to learn all the elements. Then he finds a girl who he likes to helps him through his adventures.

Spyro (ANsmilie:
A random dragon is a special creature born every million years or so who has to learn four dragon elements. Then he finds a dragoness who he likes who helps him through his adventures.

Also, the Avatar Mode Aang has reminded me of Spyro's Fury Attacks a lot.

Um, I'd like to point out that the TLoS games don't say "every million years," but rather, "every ten generations." From what I understand of the word "generation," this could mean, "every thousand years."

If we take "Year of the Dragon" litterary, it happens every 12 years...

Yeah, even stories that seem original were probably inspired by something else. All modern stories were taken from classics, true historic events, and the writer's own experiences.

Sorry... I wasn't sure exactly how long it is. I've only played ANB twice and I cut the cutscenes most of the time.
