Chapter 11: Fighting Old Friends

Three figures were standing in the doorway. The rotting wood fell in front of them and they simply hopped over it. Out of the smoke came a dark red Knucker, a light blue Frost, and a ocean blue dwarf. Cynder squinted her eyes to see them from their far distance.
"Liriodon, Kilroy, Icicle?" she whispered. She flew faster and faster hope filling her heart. The three dragons stood there, evil in their eyes. When she landed on the small bridge of stone she walked slowly. she was looking at her lost friends.
"HOW DID YOU GET HERE!? WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!? HOLY CRAP THIS IS WONDERFUL!!!!!" she screamed.
"We are no longer your friends. YOU abandoned us, YOU killed Silver, YOU WILL DIE!!!!!" Icicle shouted. The three dragon breathed fire and ice at Cynder. She was completely baffled, but in the confusion she still dodged the attack.
"I am sorry guys..." she whispered as she breathed fear at them. The waved tore at the dragon's skin and they were beet up pretty bad. But they still got up. Icicle charged at her. Cynder stood up and rammed her claws down onto him. he wailed in pain as she scratched his wings. She threw him off the edge knowing that with the holes in his wings he couldn't fly. The other two did the same and she quickly disposed of them. Tears were in her eyes when she was finished. Still she turned to her new companions and bowed her head in respect.
"Still, we must go on and face this contraption and it's controller." she said. Her friends nodded as she went to fight this... thing.

Chapter...?: a New Foe

Cynder and Sierra entered large chamber with the ferrets, Killsten, Ardias Chaos, and Spyro close behind. It was quiet and dark.
"Why is it so dark?" one of the ferrets asked in a small voice. No one replied, they just stood and looked into the black. then a small, blue, bright strip of light came and lighted a corner of the room. more strands of blues, reds, pinks, and yellows joined it. It was the contraption! It rolled over to a body on the floor. It was obviously a female, she was a dark silver color, she had three heads and was definitely a Hydra. Cynder and Chaos went up to her. Cynder suddenly felt weak and collapsed. Her soul seemed to be braking in two. It seemed as if she was having a heart attack! Then she lay still, almost dead. Her two extra heads had vanished. She was normal Cynder again. Now the other body stirred. She got up an looked over the dragons. After what seemed an eternity, Cynder arose, too. She looked at this dragon and tears filled her eyes.
"Silver, not you too! Please NO!" she screamed as she shook her head back and forth. Her woe turned to anger and madness. She lunged at Silver who had said nothing and attacked her too. The battle was bloody and gory and the two were on the ground.

Cynder lay on the ground, not moving. Silver, meanwhile, had stood up and was growling at the large group.
"Is that all, Cynder, IS THAT ALL!?!" She taunted. Cynder took in deep breaths of the cool air. She tried to stand but her feet would not hold her up.
She slowly put her head on the ground and let out a long breath. A black orb had appeared in her mouth, laying on her tongue. Small partials of energy swirled in it. The group was still, Cynder was still, Silver was smirking and laughing evilly.
"That is all you have in you Cynder. That IS all. Now you all will DIE!!" Silver screamed. Sierra ran to Cynder's body and lifted the orb. It was cold and it felt strange. Her eyes were full of fire as she jerked her head to look at Silver. She got to her feet and looked to the contraption.
"you killed her," she whispered, "YOU KILLED HER!!" she now shouted.
Chaos was looking away and Ardias almost fainted. Chaos, now very angry, slithered to Sierra and let her board. He was swift and they flew right into the thing. Sierra held the orb down and as it touched the machine a binding light flashed. The energy was released and it lit the area. Finaly they flew at Silver who was now blinded. She could not see and so too the dieing blow to the throat. Now Cynder still lay in the berried catacombs today. and we will never forget her bravery.
