Chapter Twenty-Five: Loosing Time

Isabelle had finally woken up after her long sleep,everyone was already awake,Adam looked concernly at Isabelle,which everyone could tell she was already looking more pale "Isabelle,are you alright?" Adam asked her worriedly,she nodded slowly "We should get moving quickly." Adam said "Y-yeah." Isabelle said,feeling a little weak,she was at the maximum strength that the poison would let her have,she stood up slowly,Adam also stood up,he kept beside Isabelle just in case she fell down,Brandon looked sadly at Adam and Isabelle,he himself didn't care if he had a lover or not,but he was always sad when one of his friends became heartbroken or depressed,Roseline was already using the key to check which door it needed to be used for,there were only two doors that were locked in the room they were in,Roseline nodded to them to let them know which door it was,Adam nodded back and the group began walking down that path,Isabelle slower than the others,they found themselves in a pitch black room,Brandon went back to get a torch,since the room they were in before had a torch,but then the door closed behind Isabelle,Roseline,Adam,and Keller./ "Hey!What's going on?!" Brandon asked,trying to open the locked door,then on the side Brandon was on,skeletons began coming out of the ground,Brandon could hear them coming up out of the dirt and he quickly turned around to face them "Guys!Let me in!This isn't funny!" Brandon said,Roseline tried to open the door,but it was locked from their side too "We can't!" she said,Roseline looked around,but she already saw Adam using his fire to light the way,he was carrying Isabelle on his back,there was a maze like bridge over what looked like a endless chasm,Roseline still had the key,but she couldn't open the door without light "Adam!Brandon is in trouble!" Roseline called,Adam didn't care,he continued to use his fire breath to light the way,soon reaching the end,there was a indentation in the wall,inside the indentation had a key,the key looked like a spider at one end of it,Brandon was trying to fight off the skeletons,slashing,right at one,hitting another with his tail,and biting and pulling ones skull off,Adam began running back with the key and Isabelle,Isabelle didn't know what was happening,she could hardly see or hear,soon Adam reached the door,he stopped his fire breath to say something "Unlock it!" he said,then used his fire breath as light again,Roseline quickly tried to put the key in but she dropped it "Guys!Hurry!" Brandon said,Roseline began looking for the key,Adam was getting impatient,and Keller had no idea of what he should do,,but Keller quickly noticed the sparkle of the key,he grabbed it and unlocked the door,it opening.
"What took ya so long?" Brandon asked as the door opened,Adam quickly ran inside the room Brandon was in,charging at the skeletons,while making sure Isabelle didn't fall off or get hurt,Roseline and Keller defeated the rest of the skeletons easily,Adam looked angrily at the last unlocked door "I won't be separated again from her." he whispered to himself,ready to fight anything or anyone...

Chapter Twenty-Six: A Different Fight

As I saw him,some part of me was relieved,but I knew our mission came first,and sighed in a bit of disappointment.

He went into the room that had been open to him a few minutes ago,he saw his partner across a chasm and a bridge,he nodded to his partner as his partner began to run across the bridge when something hit and broke the bridge in half,thankfully,his partner was on a part of the bridge that didn't break and fall down what seemed like the never-ending chasm,he looked up to see the guardian of this temple like place,made out of stone and mechanics,his long claws came out of his fingers where his finger nails should have been,the mechanical stone guardian looked at him with a green spherical jewel that looked like it could be a eye,the stone looking helmet it had on closed and covered the eye,he knew that the eye was it's weak point "I'll help using my ranged powers!" his partner said,he only nodded in reply.The giant mechanical stone guardian began with a first strike by trying to squish him with the bottom of it's fist,he jumped and rolled out of the way,the impact of the fist created a small crater in the floor that wouldn't effect much for dodging terrain to him,he watched the guardian,it tried again,but he midair dashed sideways,dodging the fist again,and it creating another small crater in the floor,it tried to grab him,but he jumped up and had timed when to jump up so he could land on the guardians fist and began to run up it's arm.The guardian tried spinning it's arm to make him fall off,since it was mechanical,it was able to do that with the stone it was made out of,but he was faster and still kept on it's arm,despite it spinning it's arm fast.It opened it's helmet to shoot at him with it's jewel,he got to the jewel before it could shoot a beam that would have devastated him,and scratched at it with his claws,he also kicked the guardian's jewel,he noticed the guardian's body shaking,and he jumped off landing on the floor on his feet as the guardian spun it's without moving it's legs or feet,he watched it,it's helmet was still open,so his partner shot a violet colored sphere from the right hand at the jewel,creating a crack in it,,the helmet closed right after that,the guardian was angry,the jewel was cracked,and just needed a few more hits,the helmet quickly opened and shot a couple of beams at him and his partner he managed to dodge,but his partner was hit and badly injured,his partner managed to get up but looked weak,he looked at the guardian as he flew into it's rage and started hitting everywhere near he was,these random strikes made it hard for him to predict where the guardian was going to strike and to dodge the strike,he barely dodged one strike,he got struck once,but he could survive being crushed,his armor protecting him from most of the damage,it took him a few minutes of dodging and jumping,but he finally made it on the guardian's hand.The guardian's arm was spinning even faster,but it had to sometimes stop from overheating,he had to use that to his advantage,after a few minutes of figuring out what to do,he managed to jump up to the guardian's helmet before it forced him off,the helmet quickly opened to shoot,but he midair dashed inside before the helmet could close,he also dodged the beam,making the guardian hit itself,he hit the jewel a few times,causing the helmet to open up again.The guardian's body began to shake again,he jumped off and landed on the ground safely again,he looked at his wounded partner,who seemed to be barely holding onto consciousness,he waited and hoped that his partner could destroy the jewel before his partner lost consciousness.His partner lifted her hand and shot a violet colored sphere of energy not known to anyone but him and his partner,the sphere hit the jewel right before the helmet closed,after the helmet closed,the guardian's helmet began shaking and exploded,the helmet and a arm flying into the air,the helmet landed beside him as the guardian and the stone it was created out of began crumbling,afterwords,the arm landed between the chasm,which fortunately created a bridge,he ran over to his partner and caught her before she hit the ground,and she had became unconscious,he could see her bleeding within her clothing,and knew what he had to do so he could take care of her wounds,no one else was there to do it,it was only him and her...

(This is a substitute until I get more ideas of Isabelle's story,this story is connected to Isabelle's story,in fact,this is what was happening in a different place while the dragons were fighting Ziggar.)
