Chapter 15

the next day Dragsooth woke up and saw Marissa standing infront of him.

Dragsooth: "oh good morning Marissa."

Marissa: "good morning, i have something to tell you..."

Dragsooth got up "what is it?"

Marissa: "i -... i was working for lucifer as a spy... but i repented and i just want to say i'm sorry about trying to trick you..."

Dragsooth: "it's ok... i forgive you..."

Marissa: "oh and i'm not really an angel..."

Dragsooth: "you aren't?"

Marissa: "no, i'm a dragoness..." she changed into her original dragon form, Dragsooth looked at her.

Dragsooth: "wow, you look fantastic, i mean you look good as an angel too but as a dragon you look better..."

Marissa: "thanks... can you teach me how to worship the Master?"

Dragsooth: "i thought you'd never ask, all you have to do is bow down and pray to him... he likes to hear songs as well..."

Marissa: "can you teach me how to pray?"

Dragsooth: "of course i will..."

over the next few minutes Dragsooth taught Marissa many prayers, she listened and payed attention to him as he said each one, she was a quick learner and repeated the prayers with success.

Dragsooth: "wow that's the fastest i've seen anyone learn that many prayers in a singal try... it took me at least 3 trys to get one of them right... but you got all of them in a singal try."

Marissa: "thanks... i am a quick learner, now can you teach me some songs?"

Dragsooth: "of course, the Master tells me i have an excellent singing voice..."

Dragsooth taught Marissa afew songs to sing and she repeated all of them correctly in a singal try.

Dragsooth: "you ARE a quick learner... i've messed up those songs at least 3 times..."

Marissa: "thanks, i've got an excellent memory...can we pray to the Master now?"

Dragsooth: "of course..."

Dragsooth and Marissa walked up to Jesus.

Jesus: "good morning."

Dragsooth: "good morning Master, Marissa and i would like to pray to you."

Jesus: " go ahead..."

Dragsooth and Marissa both bow down in front of Jesus,

Dragsooth and Marissa: "You are Christ, my Holy Father, my Tender God, my Great King, my Good Shepherd, my Only Master, my Best Helper, my Most Beautiful and my Beloved, my Living Bread, my Priest Forever, my Leader to my Country, my True Light, my Holy Sweetness, my Straight Way, my Excellent Wisdom, my Pure Simplicity, my Peaceful Harmony, my Entire Protection, my Good Portion, my Everlasting Salvation... Amen." they got up.

Jesus: "good, that was very good, now let me hear Marissa sing to me..."

Marissa: "ok Master but i haven't really had time to practice..."

Dragsooth: "you'll do fine go ahead, i'll just watch..." Dragsooth goes and sits down by Jesus' throne watching Marissa.

Jesus: "go ahead Marissa."

Marissa: *singing* "Thank You, my Jesus, for giving to me Life that is full, and salvation so free... Saved by Your grace, and not by what I do; Jesus, my Lord, I love You! Thank You, my Jesus, for saving my soul, Taking the pieces and making me whole. Thank You for coming and seeing me through... Jesus, my Lord, I love You!"

Dragsooth: "that was beautiful..."

Jesus: "yes i agree, well done..."

Marissa: "thank you..."

Jesus: "Draggy why don't you go and sing me a song?"

Dragsooth: "i'm happy to Master."

Dragsooth goes in front of Jesus,

Dragsooth sits down and starts singing " You love me as a Father loves His child Your boundless grace pours out to me; I am fully reconciled. Your Spirit calls, and I reply, "Lord lead me day by day To know Your perfect will, Your holy Way." My one desire - to know You in the fullness of Your Grace To hear "Well done, my precious one" when we meet face to face Lord, I aspire to please You in obedience and faith For You, my God, are worthy of all praise. Your favor has sustained me all my days The faithfulness You've shown to me; Oh, how awesome are Your ways. My heart cries out; I can't contain The joy that lives in me, To know that You give life, abundantly! My one desire - to know You in the fullness of Your Grace To hear "Well done, my precious one" For You, my God, are worthy of all praise.For You, my God, are worthy of all praise..."

Jesus: "well done, excellent."

Marissa: "that was good."

Dragsooth: "thanks..." he came and sat down on the floor beside Jesus, Jesus petted him.

In hell,

an army of demons were gathered around lucifer's lair, lucifer was standing in front of them.

lucifer: "today we will win this war! we will make our enemies tremble at our might! and our enemies will be trampled under our feet! we will have our revenge!"

all demons were cheering.

lucifer: "HEAVEN WILL BE OURS! FORWARD DEMONS!!!"

lucifer and the demons marched toward Heaven wielding weapons and wearing armor...


In Heaven,

an army of angels were standing in Heaven, Michael the leader of the angels was standing in front of them,

Michael: "my brothers the enemy has made great strides in his attempt to capture the throne of our Master. but we will not let them, we will fight the good fight and stay on the Master's side... and if we die we die for the Master!"

all angels were cheering,

suddenly Micheal looked out and saw the demon army coming through the gates... he took out his sword "FOR THE MASTER AND FOR HEAVEN CHARGE!!" he and the army of angels flew toward the demons.

lucifer and the demons charged towards the angels, both sides collided...

some angels and demons were locked in air to air combat but most of them fought on the ground, Micheal killed several demons in seconds, and then he saw lucifer flying over the battlefield towards the Temple, Michael flew in the air at lucifer, Micheal swung his sword at lucifer and barley cut his shoulder, lucifer hit Michael with his tail, but he blocked to blow with his shield, Michael stabbed lucifer in the wing, lucifer bit Michael in the arm and threw him toward the ground but Michael flew up again and charged at lucifer from behind, lucifer hit him in the face with his tail and Michael fell to the ground below...the angels were losing and they were slowly beginning to retreat.

In the Temple,

Jesus was aware at what was happening, he got up from his throne, he looked at Dragsooth and Marissa

Jesus: "you two stay here, i'm going to stop this..." he disappeared.

outside the Temple,

lucifer flew toward the Temple, some angels who were retreating got in front of him and charged at him, a few of them managed to catch him off guard and wound him a few times, but lucifer breathed fire on all of them, even though he was severely wounded he flew onward, he crashed though the doors of the Temple.

Dragsooth heard the crash "Marissa stay here, i'm going to go see what that was..."

Dragsooth walks down the hallway and he sees lucifer

Dragsooth: "YOU!!!"

lucifer: "well if it isn't Dragsooth! where's your Master? did he run away?"

Dragsooth: "NO!"

Dragsooth took a threatening pose, so did lucifer. they starred at each other, Dragsooth lunged at lucifer but lucifer quickly grabbed him by the neck. he threw him against a wall, Dragsooth was unconscious.

lucifer: "not so tough now are you!?"

Marissa suddenly came over and saw what happen, lucifer turned toward her

lucifer: "YOU LITTLE TRAITOR!" he slashed his claws at her but she quickly dodged, he continued trying to hit her but she was too quick...

Dragsooth wakes up and sees lucifer knock Marissa to the ground, lucifer walks over to her, she tries to get up, lucifer raises his hand to finish her when Dragsooth lunged at him, he hit lucifer sevral times with his claws, lucifer hit Dragsooth and knocked him out again, he found Marissa to be unconscious as well. he picked both of them up in his claws and flew out of the Temple...

a bright white light was shining on the entire battlefield, the demons were retreating and screaming in pain, the angels were all healed and were killing off the demons as they were retreating, lucifer quickly flew back to hell with Dragsooth and Marissa in his claws. the gates of Heaven shut the demons in hell.

the white light stopped shining, Jesus appears in the middle of the field, all the angels gather around him.

Jesus: "is everyone alright?"

Michael: "yes Master, all of our army is alive, we managed to kill 40% of lucifer's army..."

an angel came up to Jesus

angel: "Master, Dragsooth and Marissa have been taken prisoner! i've searched the Temple and they are nowhere to be found... we have to go find them..."

Jesus: "it's too dangerous to send a search party down there... i'll go and find them..."

Chapter 17

In hell,

Dragsooth woke up in a cell he noticed he had a magic chain around his neck, he looked over and saw Marissa...

Dragsooth: "Marissa are you alright?"

she slowly woke up "yes i am alright..."

Dragsooth: "uh how do we get out of here!?"

Marissa: "we can't these chains neutralize all of our magic..."

suddenly they saw lucifer outside the cell door "i'll make this very simple for you, renounce your Master or you will suffer greatly!"

Dragsooth slowly stands up "never!"

Marissa: "i won't do it either."

lucifer enters the cell "than i will make you!!"
magic chain wrap around Dragsooth and Marrrisa's legs and they both lay helplessly on the floor, a big metal rod appears in lucifer's hand, he breaths fire on it and it becomes really hot, he walks over to Marissa and pressed the rod against her back, she screamed in pain and tears streamed down her cheeks...

lucifer: "RENOUNCE HIM!!"

Marissa: "OK OK I RENOUNCE HIM!"

Dragsooth: "Marissa NO you can't!!"

lucifer took the rod off her back, he healed her and he looked at Dragsooth "oh but she has..." he walked over to Dragsooth "renounce your Master or suffer!!!"

Dragsooth: "NEVER!!"

lucifer heated up the rod even more and pressed it onto Dragsooth's back, Dragsooth screamed in pain and cried, lucifer took the rod off Dragsooth's back after 1 minute, Dragsooth was badly burned.

lucifer: "will you renounce him now?"

Dragsooth: "... no..." he was crying in pain.

lucifer: "then feel REAL PAIN!!!" a whip with many tails appears in lucifer's hand, he raised it and whipped Dragsooth 40 times with it, Dragsooth finally gave in because of the pain
Dragsooth: "I... RENOUNCE.... HIM!"

lucifer lowered the whip "good, all you had to do was say those words. that wasn't so hard was it?"

Dragsooth realized what he just done and he began to weep "what have i done!!? what... have i... done!!!... I HAVE BETRAYED MY MASTER!!!!"

lucifer released them from the chains, Marissa walked over and stood by his side, Dragsooth just layed on the floor and wept...

a bright light appeared, lucifer and Marissa ran away.

Jesus appears in front of Dragsooth, Dragsooth looked up at him with tears in his eyes...

Jesus: "Dragsooth! what have you done!"

Dragsooth noticed that Jesus' tone was quite louder and firmer than usual...

Dragsooth: "Master... i-"

Jesus: *interrupts* "save your breath, we'll discuss this in Heaven... let's go!"

Dragsooth's body was healed, he got up but he didn't make eye contact with Jesus... as they were walking towards Heaven Dragsooth kept his head low, Jesus looks back at him

Jesus: "Dragsooth i am very disappointed in you! you showed weakness today. i thought you were more faithful than that!"

Dragsooth just kept walking behind him with his head held low...

Oh no, poor Dragsooth

i know, Marissa has been lost to the dark side and Dragsooth just made a big mistake by unwillingly renounceing Jesus...

can you say what renounceing jesus is?

it means saying that you don't believe in him and going against him... it means you deny him...

Chapter 18

they made it back to the Temple, Jesus sat on his throne and Dragsooth just sat on the floor keeping his head down. Dragsooth slowly looks up at Jesus.

Dragsooth: "Master, i... i'm sorry... i didn't want to renounce you. lucifer made me do it..."

Jesus: "you could have easily said no to him. you had a choice and you chose to deny me. that is the worst thing you ever did!"

Dragsooth lowered his head again.

Jesus: "Dragsooth, i'm going to punish you for this offense..."

Dragsooth quickly looked at him "how?"

Jesus: "calm yourself. it won't hurt at all. it'll give you some time to think about what you've done."

Dragsooth: "ok, how long?"

Jesus: "a few hours."

Dragsooth suddenly found himself in a small white room there were no doors or windows, he looked around "what is this?"

Jesus' voice: "this is a small form of purgatory. you will stay in here for the night... see you in the morning..."

Dragsooth layed down in front of a wall "well i guess i deserve this, what was i thinking denying the Master like that?" he put his head down and just starred at the wall...

Marissa had regrets about betraying Jesus and she missed Dragsooth...

lucifer: "i may have lost Dragsooth to that tyrant, but i will not loose you!"

Marissa: "no, no you won't..."

lucifer: "forget about Dragsooth and his Master, they didn't bring you true happiness it was all a lie, when we win the war you'll be very happy worshiping me! you didn't actually enjoy worshiping him did you!?"

Marissa: "no, no... it was just a lie to get them to trust me."

lucifer: "very convincing i actually believed you... but now that they know about you, you can't be a spy anymore. i will personally train you to be a warrior!"

Marissa smiled evily to make him believe that she really liked the idea, but inside she yearned to be in Heaven with Jesus...


In purgatory,

Dragsooth was still inside the small white room in peremptory, he was laying on his back looking at the ceiling "i wonder if Marissa really did betray the Master?" thoughts like that kept going through his mind every second... 1 hour later he became bored "i'm so bored.... so bored.... soooooo booooored..." he gets up and starts pacing back and forth, he kept thinking about Marissa for some reason, "did she really love me? more importantly did she love the Master? is she still loyal to lucifer? are any of my questions going to be answered?" he kept pacing and then he layed down in front of a wall, he layed his head down and soon fell asleep...

Chapter 20

Dragsooth was still sleeping in purgatory, he kept having some nightmares about Marissa betraying him and being loyal to lucifer... Dragsooth woke up many times during the night in shock... "no it can't be true she can't betray us!... can she?" he kept trying to stay positive even though terrible thoughts kept going through his mind. he fell asleep...


In Hell,

after some training Marissa went to her room, all this time she had felt real regret about betraying Dragsooth and Jesus, she wept bitterly "oh, Jesus please forgive me... i never wanted this to happen...i'm sorry... i'm so sorry."
her tears fell on the ground as she cried...


In purgatory,

Dragsooth was still sleeping he was having the same dreams over and over again...

In the morning he woke up he opened his eyes and looked around he found himself laying beside Jesus' throne, he looked up and saw Jesus there.

Jesus: "last night i heard Marissa praying for my forgiveness... she was crying for it."

Dragsooth sat up "she was crying in prayer?"

Jesus looked at him and nodded "yes, she really didn't mean to betray us. she did it against her will."

Dragsooth: "what do we do Master?"

Jesus: "we wait until she willingly comes back..."

Dragsooth layed down "ok Master..."

Chapter 21

3 years have passed since Marissa had unwillingly betrayed Dragsooth and Jesus. she had kept regretting it at first but lucifer had made sure she would be completely loyal to him alone, all the sweet happy memories of Heaven had been wiped away from Marissa's mind and she was now lucifer's servant, he had filled her mind with lies and deceived her, she believed him and was now as she once was a servant of evil...

Dragsooth had been depressed about Marissa for afew weeks but after some time he had gotten over it. though he had never lost faith that Marissa will come back on the side of good...


In Heaven,

two angels walked up to Jesus,

angel 1: "Master good news we got back the Shroud of Turin..."

the second angel held up the shroud,

Jesus: "good, but what did i tell you about going into hell without my permission?"

angel 2: "that we shouldn't go down there because it's dangerous..."

Jesus: "that's right, go put the shroud with the other relics, and don't go to hell for the rest of the missing relics without my permission again."

angel 1: "yes Master."

angel 2: "yes Master." the two angels walked away...


In hell,

lucifer was walking inside his lair when he saw two wounded demons at the entrance of the room where he kept all the stolen holy relics, he walked up to them.

lucifer: "what happen!?"

demon 1: "oh it was horrible 2 angels came down here and over powered us..."

demon 2: "we were wounded and they took back one of thier relics..."

lucifer: "WHICH ONE!!"

demon 1: "it was the shroud of Turin."

lucifer: "THAT WAS MY FAVORITE RELIC I WAS GOING TO DESTROY THAT SOMEDAY!!!"

suddenly Marissa stood behind lucifer

Marissa: "i can get that relic back for you master."

lucifer turned around and looked at her "very well make sure you get it!"

Marissa: "i will..." Marissa walks away.

lucifer turned towards the two demons

lucifer: "AND AS FOR YOU TWO THIS IS THE LAST TIME YOU WILL EVER DISAPPOINT ME!!" magic chains came around the two demons, lucifer dragged them up to a pit of fire and tossed them in, the fire engulfed their entire bodies, the screamed in pain as their bodies were burning, lucifer laughed at their distress and pain, after a few minutes lucifer got them out of the fire and drug them towards the torture chamber...


In Heaven,

the same two angels ran up to Jesus,

angel 1: "Master a demon stole the Shroud of Turin again!"

angel 2: "and she's now running towards hell!"

before Jesus could say anything Dragsooth ran out of the Temple and saw the demon running toward hell carrying the shroud. he ran after it and jumped on the demon, he pinned it to the ground and he raised his paw to strike but he stopped and lowered it,

Dragsooth: "Marissa? is it really you?"

Marissa: "yes, now let me up."

Dragsooth: "are you going to give me back the Shroud?"

Marissa: "no it belongs to my master lucifer!"

Dragsooth: "no it doesn't it belongs to my Master."

Marisa: "look you serve your Master, i serve mine. let me do that!"

Dragsooth: "no Marissa! lucifer has lied to you and deceived you, you must see that."

Marissa: "get off of ME!" she kicked him with her hind leg and he fell on his back, she ran off to hell with the Shroud...

Dragsooth: "ow..."

Jesus appeared next to Dragsooth

Jesus: "are you alright?"

Dragsooth slowly got up "i think so, Master the demon was Marissa. lucifer had deceived her and now she's loyal to him."

Jesus: "i known that ever since she stopped praying to come back. lucifer did something to her to wipe away any desire to come back here..."

Dragsooth: "that's horrible..."

Jesus: "but don't worry we'll get her back on our side."

Dragsooth: "it's been 3 years Master, are you sure we can repair the damage lucifer has done to her?"

Jesus: "of course we can..."


In hell,

Marissa walked up to the entrance to the torture chamber, she saw lucifer there

Marissa: "i got the Shroud back... it wasn't hard at all..."

lucifer: "excellent work... why don't you guard the stolen relics this time..."

Marissa: "alright." Marissa walked away...

lucifer looked at the two demons, they were heavily burned and they were shackled to the wall, they hung there by the wrists.

lucifer: "now where was i?" he approached them with a whip....


wow lucifer is EVIL isn't he? more coming tomorrow...

Chapter 22,

In hell,

an army of demons were gathered together to form an army. lucifer stood in front of the army,

lucifer: "this time we will destroy them and their Master! anyone who manages to injure or better yet kill that tyrant will have great rewards. and anyone who retreats will feel my wrath! we will win this war!"

all demons cheered, Marissa was in this army as well.

lucifer: "we will not fail! FORWARD DEMONS!!!"

all the demons marched toward Heaven.


In Heaven,

Michael and the angels were standing a half a mile away from the gates of Heaven, Micheal stood in front of the angel army "my brothers the enemy is getting more and more determine to destroy us and the Master. we must do all we can to prevent our enemy from getting to him no matter if we die... if we die we die for the Master." Michael raised his sword.

the angels all raised their swords in the air "for the Master..."

lucifer and the demons broke through the gates and charged into Heaven,

lucifer: "ATTACK!"

the demons ran toward the angels.

Michael: "CHARGE!"

the angels flew towards the demons. the two armis collided. Michael flew towards lucifer and tryed to stab him, lucifer dodged and tried to hit him with his claws...

as the battle was going on Marissa got passed the fighting armies and went toward the Temple, she got through the doors and ran down the hallway, she then saw Jesus standing there, Marissa crouched down in an attack position and bared her teeth.

Jesus: "Marissa look at what you're doing. don't do this you're only hurting yourself..."

Marissa: "no! i don't belong with you my place is with lucifer!"

Jesus: "no it isn't lucifer has lied to you. his promises are empty. he can promise you nothing but evil things. come back to me and i promise to do the best for you."

Marissa: "no! i won't! lucifer is my master now and i serve him!!"

Marissa lunged at Jesus, Dragsooth came out of nowhere and jumped on Marissa and pinned her to the ground...

Dragsooth: "Marissa stop you don't need to do this!"

Marissa: "yes i do!" she kicked him off of her and ran towards Jesus, Dragsooth got up and quickly side stepped in font of her. Dragsooth spread out his wings.

Dragsooth: "i don't want to fight you!"

Marissa: "too bad then you can't defend your Master." she hit Dragsooth with her horns and he fell in front of Jesus.

Dragsooth slowly got up and looked at Marissa "but if i must fight it will be in defense of my Master!"

Dragsooth ran at Marissa and rammed into her, she stumbled backwards, she ran at Dragsooth and jumped at him, she tackled him and he fell to the ground, he got up and bit her in the wing, she groaned in pain and bit him on the shoulder, they let go of each other, the began to circle each other, they bared thier teeth as they looked into each others eyes.

Jesus: "ENOUGH! Dragsooth step back!"

Dragsooth backed up and stood beside Jesus.

Jesus: "Marissa come back to me."

Marissa: "NO you abandoned me! i'll NEVER COME BACK!"
Marissa ran toward Jesus again but a bright came around Jesus and light shown on Marissa, she screamed in pain and ran out of the Temple.

Jesus: "that hurt me more then it did you..."

on the battlefield the demons were in full retreat, even lucifer retreated he was badly wounded... they retreated into hell, Marissa was the last to come into hell...


In Heaven,

light shined on the battlefield and the angels were healed, they all cheered over this victory...

in the Temple,

Jesus looked at Dragsooth "are you alright?"

Dragsooth: "i just suffered a few scars and scratches."

Jesus healed Dragsooth

Dragsooth: "thank you Master... i feel bad about what i had to do to Marissa."

Jesus: "i know, lucifer really messed her up... it's not her fault..."

Dragsooth: "i know Master."

Jesus: "don't worry she'll soon come back to us." he crouched down and petted Dragsooth to comfort him... "everything is going to be alright."

Chapter 23,

In hell,

a few hours after the battle was lost lucifer decided to try to raid the Temple again, he called Marisa over to him.

lucifer: "take a few of the strongest demons you can find and go to the Temple and steal as many holy relics as you can carry... do not fail me this time!"

Marissa gathered 10 demons for this mission, they all put on armor and marched to Heaven,


In Heaven at the Temple,

it was night and two angels were guarding the relic room, they were standing near the doorway outside the room,

angel 1: "i'm going to go sleep for the rest of the night, you stay here and guard the relics..."

angel 2: "ok, good night..."

angel 1: "good night." he walks off.

a few minutes later...

angel 2: "hmmm i want some food..." he walks off leaving the relic room unguarded.

Marissa and the demons make it into the Temple unseen, they make thier way to the relic room,

Marissa: "ok get as many relics as you can."

the demons start gathering the relics. one of the relics drop and hit the ground.

Marissa: "what are you trying to do alert everyone to our presence!"

suddenly Dragsooth comes in the doorway,

Marissa: "GET HIM!"

Dragsooth runs toward the demons, one of them kicks him into a wall, Dragsooth struggled to get up. the demons crowded around him and started to claw at him, after a few seconds Dragsooth was unconscious and bleeding on the ground.

Marissa: "let's go."

they all run out of the Temple and into hell carrying the stolen relics.

the two angels come back to the relic room,

angel 1: "the relics! they're gone!" he looks over and sees Dragsooth unconscious and bleeding on the floor "oh my gosh!"

angel 2: "we are in so much trouble!!"

angel 1: "Dragsooth is hurt and you're worried about us!?"

suddenly Jesus appears in the room, he looks at the angels "you two outta be ashamed of yourselves! leaving your post! disobeying my orders!"

angel 2: "it was his fault!" he points at the other angel "he went to go sleep while he was on guard duty!"

Jesus: "you went to eat while you were on guard duty! it was both your faults. Dragsooth risked his life to save my relics and do your jobs of protecting the relics." Jesus healed Dragsooth,

Dragsooth didn't wake up, Jesus picks him up in his arms.

Jesus: "luckily they didn't take my cross or the ark of the covenant, guard those two relics."

angel 1: "yes Master."

angel 2: "yes Master."

Jesus walks out of the relic room carrying Dragsooth, he sits on his throne, Dragsooth wakes up in a daze.

Dragsooth: "Master what happen?"

Jesus: "you were attacked by a group of demons and they got away with nearly all the relics."

Dragsooth: "i'm sorry i didn't save the relics Master."

Jesus: "you have nothing to be sorry about Draggy." he pets Dragsooth "i commend you for trying to keep the relics safe." Jesus continued to pet him "it's still night time, get some sleep."

Dragsooth falls asleep in Jesus' arms.

Chapter 24,

In hell,

Marissa and the demons made it back to hell with the relics, they put all the relics in the room where they kept the stolen relics, lucifer was suddenly standing in the doorway, he looked at all the holy relics he now had "Marissa you have done well, but now i have a new assignment for you to do. i want you to go to Heaven with the strongest demons and kill that tyrant!"

Marissa: "it will be done..."

lucifer: "if you come back here and you did not complete your mission.... well let's just say horrible pain will come upon you!"

Marissa: "i will not fail you..."
she went away and gathered 50 of the biggest and strongest demons of hell, they put on armor and wielded heavy weapons. they marched towards Heaven. they went through the gates and towards the Temple.


In the Temple,

Dragsooth was still asleep in Jesus' arms,

Jesus: "Dragsooth wake up..."

Dragsooth woke up "is it morning already?"

Jesus: "no, an army of demons has been sent to kill me, Marissa is with them." he puts Dragsooth on the floor,

Dragsooth: "what do we do Master?"

Jesus: "leave the demons to me and you go for Marissa, but don't kill her..."

Dragsooth: "i wouldn't even think of it Master."


the demons entered the Temple, they saw Jesus and Dragsooth standing in the distance, the demons ran towards Jesus, as soon as they approached him they fell to the ground dead, all 50 of them now lay dead,

Marissa ran toward Jesus but Dragsooth got in front of her and blocked her way, he looked into her eyes with an almost angry glare "i don't want to hurt you. please stop this." the look in his eyes were now desperate "please come back to us, we want you back..."

Marissa growled a low growl at him and bared her teeth as she looked into his eyes "compassion and love makes you weak!" she hit Dragsooth away with her tail, she ran toward Jesus again, but as she got closer she felt great pain grip her entire body, she slowed to a stop as the pain became greater.

Jesus: "Marissa look at what you've become. do you really want to live in darkness and evil? i can take you away from that i can make you happy."

Mariisa: "i don't want you're happiness! it's a lie it's all a lie!"

Jesus: "no it isn't and somewhere deep in your heart you know that."

Marissa: "i already know the truth! the truth that you're only goal is to make other beings worship you!"

Jesus: "you can't believe that. you know that's not the truth... turn away from the devil and come back to me..."

Marissa: "NO!!" she ran out of the Temple and back into hell.

Dragsooth slowly got up "will she ever come back to us?"

Jesus: "yes she will, are you alright?"

Dragsooth: "yes... i think..."


In hell,

Marissa came back to lucifer,

lucifer: "well is the job done?"

Marissa: "no, he was too strong for me, he killed all the demons too."

lucifer: "WHAT!? all 50 of my strongest demons DEAD!?"

Marissa: "y- yes..."

lucifer: "did you wound him?!"

Marissa: "n- no... i couldn't get too close to him because of the pain... the pain kept me from getting too close."

lucifer roughly picked her up by the horn "i'll show you what REAL pain is!!" he magically chained Marissa's paws together and took her to the torture chamber, he moved a large stone away and threw her in a small pit of fire, she landed on her back and the flames raged around her and nearly engulfed her, she screamed and cried in pain as she frantically tried to break free of the chains, a few minutes passed and the flames didn't cease, her body was almost completely burned, lucifer eventually took her out of the flames, she had 3rd degree burns all over her body especially her wings and back, lucifer chained her down to a table, a whip appears in lucifer's hand it had a lot of tails and small hooks at the end of them he raised it and whipped Marissa with it 50 times, the hooks dug into her flesh and tore into her, she screamed and cried in pain, when it was over she had large gashes in her back and rips in her wings, lucifer got out a metal rod and healed it up, he ran the rod on her back and wings, she screamed and cried in pain,

lucifer: "THIS IS WHAT YOU DESERVE!"
he pulled the rod off of her and unchained her from the table, he went over to a cell and threw her in there, she slid across the floor and hit the wall with her back, she groaned in pain.

lucifer: "we'll see if you fail me again after a few days in here!" he went away and left Marissa alone, she sobbed in pain and sadness, she was bleeding and the burns were making it worse....

Chapter 25,

In hell,

after a few minutes Marissa was still crying from the pain and sadness she felt, for the first time in 3 years she wanted to be with Jesus, she wanted his forgiveness, she looked up with tears streaming down her face she prayed silently at first but then she whispered "please Jesus help me... i'm sorry, i'm so very sorry for what i've done... please forgive me...take me out of here... please..."

a bright light appears near her, she looks at it and the light faded and Jesus was standing there.

Jesus: "i have been waiting for you to come back to me." he healed Marissa's wounds and freed her from the chains,

Marissa just layed there and looked away from him, she was ashamed.

Jesus came over and gently picked her up and cradled her in his arms.

Jesus: "there is no need for you to be ashamed, it wasn't your fault... it was lucifer's fault, he filled you with hatred and filled your head with lies and deceptions. what you did was not your fault. i forgive you." Jesus smiles at her,

Marissa: "thank you Master..." she smiled at him.

Jesus turns to walk out of the cell, but lucifer came out of nowhere and blocked his way.

lucifer: "you're not going anywhere! Marissa belongs to me! she's my servant not your slave!"

Marissa got closer to Jesus, she was terrified.

lucifer got closer to them, but he felt a wave of intense pain grip his body, it was so bad that he dropped to his knees, he couldn't breath, his entire body was in horrible pain.

Jesus: "stay away from my child."

lucifer fell on the ground and passed out, Marissa looked at him and then she looked at Jesus,

Jesus: "don't worry, he'll never lay a claw on you as long as i'm here."
he stepped over lucifer's body and walked to Heaven while carrying Marissa in his arms...

YAY Marissa is saved

Chapter 26,

Jesus walks into Heaven with Marissa in his arms... they reach the Temple.

Dragsooth sees them, he runs over to them "Master you saved Marissa... is she back with us?"

Jesus: "yes, in fact she prayed to be back here." he set Marissa down on the ground in front of Dragsooth,

Marissa looked at Dragsooth.

Marissa: "Dragsooth i'm sorry about everything i did to hurt you..."

Dragsooth: "it's alight, i forgive you. i know you were under lucifer's influence. it's not you're fault." he licked Marissa on the cheek.

Marissa looked at Dragsooth for a moment and she gave a smile.

it was morning, the sun came up,

Dragsooth: "come Marissa let's frolic in the fields of Heaven like we once did."

Marissa ran playfully towards the fields, Dragsooth followed in the same way, they reached the fields. the fields were filled with all sorts of flowers, Marissa looked back at Dragsooth and smiled, they both pranced happily around the field of flowers, Marissa then took flight Dragsooth followed suit. they were flying above the clouds beside each other, they looked at each other and smiled.

they dove downward and landed in the field again, they engaged in a game of chase, Marissa was playfully running after Dragsooth, she caught up to him and pounced on him, he was laying on his back with Marissa on top of him, they starred into each others eyes, Marissa smiled and licked Dragsooth on the snout. he did the same, Marissa smiled and got off of him, Dragsooth got up, Marissa playfully ran through the fields again Dragsooth followed suit, they frolicked through the big fields together,

Jesus was standing on a big hill overlooking the fields, he watched Dragsooth and Marissa frolicking together.

Dragsooth and Marissa layed down in front of a tree they were looking at the big field of flowers and then they looked at eachother. Marissa layed her paw on Dragsooth's paw, Dragsooth wrapped his tail around Marissa's tail, Marissa put her cheek against Dragsooth's shoulder, she closed her eyes, Dragsooth looked at her and smiled, he closed his eyes too...

Chapter 27,

hours later Dragsooth and Marissa walked back to the Temple, they were walking close to each other,

Marissa: "hey i have an idea."

Dragsooth: "what is it?"

Marissa: "let's sleep outside under the stars tonight. what do you say hmm?"

Dragsooth: "well i usually like to sleep inside the Temple close to the Master, but tonight i'll make an exception for you."

Marissa: "thank you Draggy... i hear the night skies are very beautiful."

Dragsooth: "oh yes they are, the sky is filled with stars and the moon is always full."

they walked up a large hill close to the Temple, they sat down on top of the hill,

Marissa: "hey look the sun's setting."

the sky was filled with all sorts of bright colors when the sun went down.

Dragsooth: "yeah the sunset is very beautiful isn't it?"

Marissa: "yes and it's also romantic..." she put her head against Dragsooth's shoulder,

Dragsooth: "yeah, it is romantic." he layed his head against Marissa's.

they sat there and watched the gorgeous sunset together, thier tails overlapped, after the sunset they looked up at the starry night sky, they sat there watching the stars for awhile. then they both layed down and fell asleep, their tail's still overlapped.


In hell,

lucifer spent time destroying the holy relics he had stolen, some of them he burned, some of them he smashed and afew of them like the Shroud of Turin and some holy pictures and posters he shreaded them with his claws. he destroyed all of them and he wanted more, he assembled a group of demons, he lead them to Heaven and towards the Temple.

Dragsooth suddenly woke up and saw them he uttered a low growl and raced towards them, lucifer and the demons came up to the Temple doors, Dragsooth jumped in front of them and blocked their way, he bares his teeth and spreads his wings as he looks lucifer in the eyes,

lucifer: "kill him."

the demons run at Dragsooth, he knocks one of them away with his horns but the rest of them come and crowed around Dragsooth, one demon kicks him in the head and they all scratch at Dragsooth with thier claws, Dragsooth falls to the ground, the demons stand around him, the demons then step aside. lucifer comes over and picks up Dragsooth by the throat and throws him into the door of the Temple, he crashed through the doors and slid across the floor, Dragsooth lays limp on the floor bleeding and unconscious, lucifer and the demons come in the Temple, lucifer looms over Dragsooth

lucifer: "take him prisoner."

a demon approaches Dragsooth and chains him up.

lucifer and the rest of the demons went towards the relic room, an angel was guarding it. when lucifer approached the angel, the angel takes out his sword and holds it in front of him, the angel was afraid and lucifer knew it, lucifer was almost twice the angel's size, the angel's hands were shaking as he clutched the sword.

angel: "i have a sword!"

lucifer hits the sword out of the angel's trembling hands

angel: "i had a sword..."he ran away quickly, he ran to Jesus and hid behind him,

Jesus: "what's wrong?"

angel: *still cowering behind Jesus* "demons are stealing the relics Master."

Jesus: "and why didn't you stop them?"

angel: "i was afraid, lucifer tried to kill me."

Jesus: "i will stop them..." he begins to walk towards the relic room.

angel: "wait don't go Master!"

Jesus stops and looks at the angel "why?"

angel: "because i don't want to be left alone... i'm afraid."

Jesus: "stay put." he walks toward the relic room...

some demons were carrying the cross out of the room, they saw Jesus, the demons started to run away with the cross, lucifer also ran away, lucifer and the demons ran into hell, one demon was carrying Dragsooth away, Dragsooth was still unconscious,

the angel came up to Jesus

angel: "are they gone Master?"

Jesus: "yes and we only have one relic left." Jesus gave the angel his sword back "try not to let the ark of the covenant fall into their claws."

angel: "i won't... i hope..."

Jesus walks away...

Chapter 28,

Marissa woke up the next morning she looked around for Dragsooth but saw he wasn't there, she noticed Jesus was sitting beside her

Marissa: "Master where's Dragsooth?"

Jesus: "i'm afraid that Dragsooth got captured by lucifer while he was trying to protect my relics... i'm sorry."

Marissa began to cry she put her head on Jesus' side and wept. Jesus petted her to try to calm her down.

Jesus: "it's going to be alright."

Marissa continued weeping, she sobbed, Jesus petted her.


In hell,

Dragsooth woke up to find himself in a cell, he was chained to the wall by a magic chain around his neck. he still had scars all over his body from the vicious demon attack, and his head hurt.

lucifer came over to the cell "well looks like you've managed to get yourself caught again, and this time you will join me!"

Dragsooth: "what makes you so sure about that?"

lucifer: "oh i'm sure, i have my methods." he gave the signal and two demons came inside the cell, they grabbed the chain and got it out of the wall and they drug Dragsoooth out of the cell, he was trying to pull back but the demons were too strong and easly pulled Dragsooth along the ground. Dragsooth was dragged to the torture chamber. he saw lucifer standing there.

Dragsooth: "what are you going to do torture me?"

lucifer: "if this other method doesn't work."

Dragsooth: "w- what other method?"

lucifer: "i know you have a heart and that you have compassion for other beings, that is your greatest weakness."

a demon came in pulling along a little human boy, the boy's hands were chained together, Dragsooth recognized the boy from Heaven.

lucifer: "do you recognize him hmm? you weren't the only prisoner i took last night."

Dragsooth: "let him go!" he tried to lunge at lucifer but the demons pulled him back by the chain.

lucifer: "oh i'll let him go as soon as you join me!"

Dragsooth: "never!"

lucifer: "very well then! throw him in the pit of fire!!"

the demon dragged the boy over to a pit of fire.

Dragsooth: "NO! WAIT! fine i'll join you! just don't hurt him!"

lucifer: "you mean you'll fight alongside us?"

Dragsooth was in tears "if that means saving my friend... then yes..."

boy: "Dragsooth what are you doing i would've proudly given up my life for the Master."

Dragsooth: "you're too young to die."

boy: "i already died once."

Dragsooth: "OH you know what i meant! just tell the Master i'm sorry."

lucifer: "release the human!"

the demon unchained the boy and he ran out of the torture chamber and towards Heaven.

lucifer: "release Dragsooth."

the demons unchained Dragsooth.

lucifer: "you're with me now Dragsooth, your former Master won't want to take you back now that you betrayed him again."

Dragsooth just starred at the ground, he didn't say anything.

lucifer: "you will refer to me as your master now."

Dragsooth looked up at him "i'd never do that you son of a b-"

before he could say the whole word lucifer struck him across the face with his tail, he fell on his side and slid across the ground a few feet, lucifer stood over him.

lucifer: "disrespect me like that again and i'll do worse, understand!?"

Dragsooth layed there, he looked at lucifer and nodded.

lucifer: "good, now get up!"

Dragsooth slowly stood up.

lucifer: "you seem to be weak, i can't have a weakling on my side, i'll make sure you gain strength by training. follow me!"

with great fear Dragsooth followed him, he didn't know what'll happen all he knew is that he'd just made the biggest mistake of his life. he had really went against Jesus...

Chapter 29,

Dragsooth followed lucifer into another building, it was a big room and Dragsooth noticed the walls and floor were stained with blood.

Dragsooth: "why is this room splattered with.... blood?"

lucifer: "because demons have sparred and trained here."

Dragsooth: "what do they do kill eachother?"

lucifer: "in some cases yes, but if they get killed it's thier own faults."

Dragsooth: "wow in Heaven they sparr with dummies."

lucifer: "well my method of training is better! now let's see who you can sparr with first..." he looked around and saw a small demon "you come here!"

the small demon came over, it was just a child.

lucifer: "you 2 will sparr with eachother!"

Dragsooth: "i'm not gonna hurt a child."

lucifer: "you better or i'm really gonna hurt you!"

Dragsooth and the demon faced eathother.

Dragsooth: "listen i don't want to hurt you, you can refuse to fight me."

demon: "no i can't, the master will punish me if i don't do what he says. now come on let's see what you got." he punched Dragsooth in the shoulder "come on fight back!"

Dragsooth swiped a paw at him and scratched his arm, the demon fell to the ground holdinfg his arm it was bleeding alittle, the demon got up and ran away crying, Dragsooth looked at his paw and his claws were stained with alittle blood, he gasped in horror.

Dragsooth: "what have i done?"

lucifer: *sarcastically* "good job you just beat up a 5 year old."

Dragsooth: "good job? that was terrible!" he shook the blood off his claws.

lucifer: "let's find you a better opponent." he looked around and saw a teenage demon "you come here!"

the demon walks over "yes sir."

lucifer: "sparr with him!" he points at Dragsooth.

demon: "yes sir."

Dragsooth and the demon face eachother.

Dragsooth: "listen we don't have to fight-"

the demon tryed to punch Dragsooth but he dodged.

Dragsooth: "oh so that's how it's gonna be alright, BRING IT!"

they circled eachother, Dragsooth bite the demon on the arm and slammed him into the ground with full force, the demon was slow to get up, he then sunk his claws into Dragsooth's back, Dragsooth bite him in the neck and threw him against the wall, the demon just layed there uncontios,

Dragsooth: "oh no, what have i done?"

lucifer: "oh stop it with your simpathy! he's still alive!"

the demon got up and held his head, he staggered alot and walked out of the room.

lucifer: "that's enough training for today! follow me!" he walked out of the room, Dragsooth followed him,

they went into lucifer's lair and there was a large room there specifically for the other demons to use for sleeping, there were no beds there only the hard stone ground, there were demons sleeping everywhere.

lucifer: "this is where you shall sleep... and don't even think about going back to that tyrant, he dosent want you anymore!"

Dragsooth knew that couldn't be true.

lucifer: "i'll be upstairs as usual thinking up of a plan to destroy that tyrant. and don't bother me!" he walks away.

Dragsooth looked at all the sleeping demons, he then stepped over afew of them as he walked to an empty spot on the ground where he could sleep. he layed down near a wall and fell asleep.

he was haveing a dream.

*dream* he was back in Heaven frolicing through the fields with Marissa.

Dragsooth woke up from his dream "oh Marissa, i'm sorry i left you alone, i'm sorry i betrayed my Master." he started to cry softly.

a demon woke up "hey! stop with that crying! i'm trying to sleep!" he layed back down and tryed to sleep.

Dragsooth layed his head down but he couldn't stop sobbing "oh Jesus forgive me, forgive me..."

the demon leaned over towards Dragsooth and struck him in the back of the head "never say something that disgusting again! you're lucky i won't say anything to lucifer about this!" the demon layed back down.

Dragsooth continued sobbing in regret and now pain. he slowly layed his head down and cryed himself to sleep.

*dream* Dragsooth was in the Temple, he was sitting infront of Jesus,

Jesus: "Dragsooth you disappointed me, you betray me, you joined my enemy, and i'm going to punish you with hell."

Dragsooth found himself falling down into hell, there was fire everywhere and he fell into it... *end of dream*

Dragsooth woke up screaming "NOOOOO!!" he looked around he was still in the same place, he was panting heavily.

a demon woke up "that's it i've had it with your yelling!" he got up and picked up Dragsooth by the back of the neck. he carried him out of the room and he walked up to a cell and threw Dragsooth in there.

demon: "you could just spend the night in there!" he closed the cell and walked away.

Dragsooth just layed in the cell, he was quite miserable, he kept sobbing out of his sadness and regrets.
