Nonsense? What are you talking about, dark52? Nevermind. Actually, dark52, I AM working on a TV Spyro series. It is based on my fanfiction Dragon of Destiny series but with a totally different plot. Spyro: The Destiny Chronicles has no scheduled air dates or times yet because work has just started on it. The first episode of the animated series has a title. The premiere episode is titled 'Awakening...' That is all I can say. More details on it will come in time. The Legacy of Ages films are my main focus at the moment. Oh, by the way be nice.

Hey doesnt anyone think this movie (if there will be one) will suck... just look at the other movies that were video game that are coming out... Halo, God o war, Hitman, Kane & Lynch, Devil may cry, Resident Evil, even The Sims (i dont know how they'll pull that one off)... but do you really think that sypro will even have a chance... come on HALO is going to be a movie HALO!! let alone God of War.. and Kane & Lynch have trailers up now.. spyro will end up being a low budget movie vs. the others.. really now.. spyro will be a cartoon... while the others are live action... sypro pry wont stay in box office to long.. sry

CG animation (and CGI) is quite a hard feat. (Anime is Japanese style cartoon animation.) It also depends on how much experience the animators and designers have.

I figured that, but for real? NO. It looks too simple to be a movie poster. I believe it could look better if you put who the voice actors were in the movie as well, maybe shade Spyro's eyelids to black and what's around his mouth. Hmm. And maybe a more fancy text?

The Spyro: Legacy of Ages website at http://spyrotloafilm.awardspace.com/ is scheduled to launch hopefully this Saturday. This version of the site will be what I call version one and it will not feature all the fancy animated working menus and details that the final version of the site will have once the film is finished and ready to be seen.

I also have wiki at http://adventure-starmagic.wetpaint.com/ that will be used as place to give details and info on my other studio projects. If you want details and artwork samples of what the Spyro: LOA site will look like then go to www.Spyroforum.com and look under the Spyro: Legacy of Ages subforum that is there thanks to the forum owner Spyrorocks who is associated with helping me promote the film.

From What I gather, this Real D is a type of 3D movie rendering ... which uses the retro blue/red glasses to produce the 3D images. It actually sounds in competition with I-Max so no, an I-Max release seems unlikely. There are Real D theaters, though, so it could go there. 3D movies being released on DVD is not uncommon. Spy Kids 3 came bundled with the red/blue glasses. I'm not sure if this will merit a regular theatrical release...probably not. A real D theater release, maybe.

I am not trying to hijack anything. This topic is about the Spyro film and I am just reminding people that there is more then one Spyro film in production. That is all. If there is a problem then I'll simply start a separate topic for discussion of Spyro: LOA films.

Attention! This fan-film will not suck considering the fact I have put nearly four years of story development into it. This project aka projects are going to be quite different and more serious when it comes to character development and story depth. I don't create crap so please stop with the 'Just because it is a fan-film it will suck' because that is just being disrespectful and rude. These films are being produced for you guys to see for free... FOR FREE!! Be thankful for that fact. You won't have to pay a penny to see a quality product.

As for the Hollywood film I have nothing to say about it. I wish the team who is working on it all the luck in the world but in the end even if their project fails I won't give up on the projects I have started. In case you guys haven't noticed my studio is producing 3 film... 3 SPYRO MOVIES NOT ONE and that is massive undertaking. There is also the fact that most of the characters in the film are totally brand new. There is also the fact that all the original characters are being giving updated designs to match the new character who are in the film.

The other thing you all will notice is that all 3 films will feature totally new soundtracks. No old recycled music from the games. Nope, every musical number and song... yes there are 3 SONGS in the first film and a few in the sequels... will be brand spanking new. This project isn't going to treat Spyro with 'a kids only' glove at all. This film is rated PG and that PG rating is important.

I say that because these films are going to be more action packed and dramatic then any of the Spyro game adventures you have played. This is Spyro taken to the next level. So before anyone else here says anything about this being a fan-film and that must mean it will suck think very carefully about how much work is going into these monster size projects. None of this is easy or cheap and yet I am still doing these films for you guys.

The Hollywood film may have a bigger budget but I doubt it has as much heart and soul as I and my team am pouring into making our three films. You'll have spend money to go to a theater to see the hollywood film. You won't have to spend a penny to see the LOA films. So please take this fact into consideration before you make any further comments on this.
