Chapter 10 Master Wargeris

Comet awoke in a dark cave.
Had someone rescued him or did the Gronca take him to his lair to eat him.
A blazing fire was afoot, a dragon sat upon a stone.
"Who awe wu?" asked Comet.
"Ah, you've awoken, my name is Wargeris, you may call me Master Wargeris." replied the dragon.
This dragon reminded Comet of his father, for he was purple too.
"Mawster Warguwis?" asked Comet.
"Yes, youngin?" asked Wargeris.
"My nwame is Cwomet." replied Comet as he closed his eyes.
Master Wargeris dipped a spoon in some stew and put it in a bowl.
He pushed it over to Comet.

Chapter 11 A sudden vingence

5 years later,

Comet sat upon a pedastil, looking up at the beautiful autumn sky.
Suddenly, a huge burst of lightning shot down from the sky.
Comet jumped back in horror and ran towards Master Wargeris's room.
"Master Wargeris! There is this terrible thing that happened just now, a lightning struck and -" began Comet.
Master Wargeris wasn't there.
Comet ran towards the entrance of his home and ran outside.
Right infront of him was Master Wargeris fighting a black dragon.
"Eeek!" squeaked Comet in fear.
Master Wargeris turned to look at him, "Go, now!"
"But-!" Comet tried to say.
"Just go!" cried Master Wargeris as he was quickly stabbed in the chest by the shadow dragon's sharp tail.
The shadow dragon saw him and ran after him.
Comet turned and ran for his life.

Chapter 12 Escape from Convexity

Comet jumped into a small burrow and wimpered.
The dragon, Convexity, growled.
He started to claw the entrance, reaching for Comet.
Comet shot a beam of Fronze.
Convexity shrieked in pain and then continued clawing the entrance.
Comet bit his arm and then ran under his legs as the dragon growled in pain.
Convexity reached for him.
Comet jumped away from his grip.
Convexity charged towards Comet.
Comet started climbing a tree.
Convexity began to climb aswell.
Comet sat up in his perch not sure what to do now.
Convexity reached the top and swiped at him.
Comet jumped out of the way, also falling out of the tree.
In seconds he would fall on to the ground and the dragon would have him.
Comet closed his eyes and flapped his wings a bit.
Convexity jumped for him.
Suddenly, Convexity missed and fell with a hard thud on the ground as Comet flew away.
Comet opened his eyes after 10 seconds from the fall, wondering why he hadn't hit the ground.
He gasped.
Convexity lay on the ground.
Comet was hovering above him.
He was flying.
"Woohoo!" cried Comet for he had not learned to fly yet because Master Wargeris had never taught him. But he [i]was[/i] flying.
Comet flapped some more and flew from the staggering figure of Convexity getting back up.
Convexity began to chase him in flight.
Comet flapped faster and shot a bit of Fronze.
Convexity crashed into a tree from the blow and lost concience.
"Weepee!" cried Comet as he flew away from the unconcious figure lying on the ground.

Chapter 13 Capture at Mount Malefor

3 days later,

Comet lay on the ground, weak, and hungry.
He couldn't move any more.
If he could just get one more piece of food.
No, he couldn't. No one would give him anything and whenever he found a berry or a walnut on the ground, someone would take it before he could get it.
Comet began to wobble slowly towards a river and drank the water, hot water.
He didn't like hot water one bit.
He closed his eyes.
Suddenly, a huge explosion erupted from the darkened mountain range.
Comet gasped in horror and hid under a tree trunk for 20 minutes, then went back out.
The rain pelted his back.
"Don't you know this is a bad place for a hatchling to be wondering about?!" growled a voice.
Comet turned around in a flash to see a fire dragon with golden crests and 10 foot long wings of silver. This dragon had a black piercing ring on his snout and looked as if he had been torn apart and then put back together.
"I- I didn't know-!" he started.
"What? That this wasn't Malefor's mountain? The Mountain of Malefor? Well you need to get away, apes still lurk these areas, waiting for revenge on their master's death. And even worse, there is a dark dragon lurking in this part of the world looking for a fire hatchling named Comet. Do you know any one by that name?" asked the dragon.
Comet froze, he couldn't speek. What if this dragon might turn him in to that killer? "No, I don't."
"Well then... you still need to get out of these primesses."
"Okay, I will."
"Good, you better not be lieing to me, I know what you look like."
The dragon spun around and marched off.
Comet turned around and began to march towards the exit of the area when a dart hit him and he fell to the ground in pain. All he heard was, "Ha ha." and "Kid!"

Chapter 14 Escaping the kill

Comet woke up to be surrounded by apes, laying on a stone table.
"What do you won't from me?" asked Comet.
"Master Gaul and Master Malefor have both died, so now we must take thy revenge and kill a dragon as a sacrifice!" cried an ape.
Comet tried to shoot Fronze at them, but his mouth was muzzled.
The red dragon was chained next to him, "Don't worry, kid. I'll get us both out of this."
Comet didn't say anything, just put his head down in sorrow.
An ape pulled out of a sword and put it at Comet's neck.
Comet gulped.
The ape raised it then lowered it.
Suddenly, a flash of lighning shot into the ape and he fell down, dead.
It wasn't the dragon's or his.
A figure stood at the door, a blue dragon with silver wings and a huge scar from neck to tail. His cressant crests gleamed in the darkness.
Comet thought he knew this person from somewhere, but didn't speak.
The dragon rammed 5 apes into the wall and shot a wave of ice at 10 others, freazing them.
The dragon walked towards Comet, not saying anything, then raised his sword and slashed at him.
He closed his eyes, but then realized that the dragon had cut the chains, not him.
The dragon also released the red dragon.
"Who are you?" asked Comet.
"Just one clue....... it starts with an I....." said the figure.

(Flash back)

A dark clash of lighning shot from the horizon at Comet's birthplace.
Comet's vision flashed by, where the miracle happened.
A blue dragon shot a wave of power as he fought Convexity.
"Grahh!!!! Icy! I will destroy you!!!!!!"

(In the future, he was given these memories from his birth...)

"I... am Icy."
"No way!"
"But if your Icy, my brother, then who are you??"
"I am your brother too."

(Way back before Comet was born...)
"Go, now!"
"But-"
"Just go!"
"Ha ha ha........ You shall DIE!!!!!!!"
"What? No!!!!!!!!!"
"Looks like you are the one dieing..."

(Fade back)

Comet remembered.
His mouth gaped.
The figure made a light smile and then turned around and walked out into the darkness outside.
Comet ran out and watched as the dragon jumped and flew away.
"Kid..... do you need a home?" asked the red dragon.
"Yes." Comet replied as he followed the red dragon back to where he lived.

Chapter 15 Storm

They arrived at a hut at twilight.
The dragon stepped into it.
Comet followed him.
"This will be your bed." said the dragon, pointing at a raggidy, old bed with tourn up bits of pillow fluff on it, "It's not great, but it's all I got besides mine..." said the dragon
"What is your name?" asked Comet.
"Storm... don't remind me..." replied the dragon in a soft voice.
"Why?" asked Comet.
"I said don't remind me!" yelled Storm.
He walked out into the darkness.
Comet wondered why he didn't want reminded of his name. He gave a huge yawn and curled up in his unconfortable bed. He laid the covers over him and fell asleep.
Storm came back late that night, at 10:14.
He looked at the sleeping Comet and shook his head, then went to his room.

Chapter 16 Friends

3 years later...
Comet sat out in the sunlight, he was talking to his friends...
"So then I came upon this big cyclops and chopped its head off and and..." told Spark.
"That's nothing compared to when I bravely confronted Gaul's menions at the Mountain of Malefor." replied Comet, now that wasn't a lie.
"You did?" shrieked everyone.
"Yep." replied Comet.
"Why?" asked Blew.
"Because they had stolen my dragon pudding." joked Comet, that was a lie.
"They did?" asked Rocky.
"Well actually, that was just a joke, but I confronted them because I was captured by them. I stood up though..." replied Comet.
"Cool!" cried Asher.
Everyday day, Comet and his friends: Spark, Blew, Rocky, and Asher would hang out.

Chapter 17 Planning out

"Hey, Comet! Do you want to play capture the twig?" asked Blew.
"Sure." replied Comet.
"Come on then..." ordered Blew as he walked ahead.
Comet followed Blew to a huge woody area that would be big enough for a game of capture the flag.
Spark, Rocky, and Asher were already there, gathered around the twig.
"So guys, ready to play?" asked Comet.
"We aren't playing that anymore. Rocky heard about a gathering going on tonight. And we are all thinking of trying to make a joke during it." replied Spark.
"Okay, Comet, you are the star of the show! You will be the one who is swung across the place and then crying out that mr. grouchy head is stupid. We will be the ones swinging you around." explained Asher, drawing a diagram on the dirt with the twig that was supposed to be the capture the twig twig.
Comet looked at it, it showed him dangling from a rope attached to the tree above and my friends swinging me from the top of the tree.
The Council Dragon sat upon a great stone below the tree talking to everyone.
Comet did not like this plan, he was afraid he might get in trouble + the fact that Mr. Traily would get mad at him. Everyone hated Mr. Traily, he was always being grouchy to everyone and yelling, "Get off my property!"
"I don't know..." replied Comet.
"Oh, come on. It will be fun! Seeing that scytho manic totally embarassed!" exclaimed Rocky.
"Oh, okay..." replied Comet, softly.
He didn't no if he really wanted to do this.

Chapter 18 The Gathering

Comet and the gang climbed up the tree above the gathering area.
Blew wrapped the rope around Comet's waste.
"Attention everyone! We are now going to have the gathering of new improvements!" cried the leader of the clan, Growlzeek.
The dragons surrounded him.
Comet could see Storm over near a hut.
"We are pleased to announce that the watering hole has been refilled and a new dragon has seen the light today, "Give it up for Crokius!"
The dragons clapped for the hatchling as he waddled up the rock.
"This young fella has earned his birth certificate and the job he will be doing for the rest of his life, aswell as who he will live with. Here you go, younglin'." announced Growlzeek as he handed the hatchling a certificate.
The hatchling took it in his mouth.
"Go ahead and read it out to us, Crokius." said Growlzeek.
" (with correct grammer)
Name: Crokius
Birth place: Gyro falls, hut 10.
Gender: Male
Status: Loves the world and loves plants.
Date of birth: November 13, 2009, friday, 3:42 p.m.
" read Crokius.
" What a good boy is he?" asked Growlzeek.
"Yes, very." said the croud.
"Young Crokius, your job shall be the gardener of Gyro falls." said Growlzeek.
The croud cheared as Crokius began to smile.
"And your family shall be..... the family of Storm!" exclaimed Growlzeek.
There sat Mr. Traily, in the front.
"Go, now! This is your chance!" cried Storm.
Comet was in shock of Crokius becoming his brother.
"Well, go!" cried Spark.
Rocky gave Comet a sharp push and knocked him out of the tree.
He swang back and forth.
The crowd gasped as Comet went straight at Growlzeek.
"Ahhhh!" cried Growlzeek.
"Watch out!" cried Comet.
Growlzeek was knocked off the stone and on to the hard ground.
The crowd gasped even louder.
Suddenly, the rope broke and Comet fell on top of Growlzeek.
The crowd gasped louder, Crokius was in shock. Storm gave Comet a sharp look.
Comet got off of Growlzeek.
Growlzeek gave Comet a sharp look.
Comet looked at it and Storm's look, aswell as the crowd's.
He looked up into the tree to see that his friends had ran.

Chapter 19 Punished

Storm rushed Comet into his room, "How dare you make fun of Growlzeek and your new brother, Crokius, expectially on his gathering day?!"
Comet began to cry, it wasn't his fault they pushed him out of the tree........
"Stop whining! You shall be severely punished, no hanging out with those friends of yours, no going outside, and no dinner for 2 nights!" cried Storm.
Comet kept crying.
"Grahhhh........." growled Storm.
"Storm." said a voice, Growlzeek.
The 2 talked outside.
"... your orphan child needs to be banished." Comet could hear.
"I'm so sorry, but I can't..." Comet also heard.
"The whole village thinks you should kill him." Comet heard aswell.
"No... I won't." finished Storm.
Comet gave a huge breath of relief as Storm came back into his room.
A knock was on the door.
"Who is it?" asked Storm.
"Your new son is here!" replied a voice.
Storm opened the door to see Crokius and a dragon outside.
"Hi there, Crokius! You want to see where everything is?" asked Storm.
Crokius nodded.
"Well, I be off." said the dragon.
"This is the kitchen, this is the play room, this is my room, this is your stinky brothers room..." began Storm.
Crokius recognized Comet and gave a deep glare.
"And this is where you will sleep." finished Storm, pointing to a spare room with a nice cozy bed.

Comet is an orphan, well, not exactly, he can't remember his parents.
And Crokius is not an orphan, this village has baby born every few weeks by the females, then they are assigned to a family, not to the one that gave birth to them.
Chapter 20 Forever indoors

Comet growled lowly, those two nights of no dinner was making him hungry, he had always loved Storm's cooking.
Comet lay on the sofa, bored. He didn't imagin anything worse than being bored. One day, his friends tried to come over to say "hi" and "Want to play dragon tag", of coarse I said no, but Storm thought I was talking to them and snapped at them to get them to leave. I didn't really want to play with those jerks anyways, they got me into this. They probabley planned this for I would get in trouble. I got up and began to walk around the room, thinking of something to do that doesn't have to do with his friends and going outside. He got it! He would play a dragon board game with Crokius and say he's sorry.
"Crokius, I know your depressed, but I would like to say sorry." Comet began.
Crokius sat on his bed, silent.
"Well... Do you want to play a dragon boredgame?" asked Comet.
"No." replied Crokius.
"Okay, then. Suit yourself. I guess I'll just go over there and play my gameboy..." finished Comet as he walked to the corner of the room.
"Did swomone sway gwameboy?!" cried Crokius as he rushed over to Comet.
And so Comet played the game with Crokius...

Chapter 21 A Dark Day

Comet had just beat his game on the gameboy.
Crokius got back in bed and slept.
Comet looked towards the window to see if anything was outside and saw a storm.
Comet gasped as a Tornado formed and started towards the village.
Lightning struck all over the place.
Comet finally woak Crokius up after 2 minutes of staring, "Crokius, get up! We have to get out of here, now!"
"Why? Mr. Tuttlecubs? Why must we eat the magical cupcake?" asked Crokius in his sleep.
"Grahh..." Comet growled as he grabbed Crokius and carried him towards a differen't room.
"Storm!!" cried Comet.
Storm wasn't there, he was out at arrends.
"Storm!!!" cried Comet again.
Nothing....
Crokius saw the storm and began to cry.
Suddenly the door burst open, flying across the room.
Comet gasped in horror as the tornado came right for the house.
Comet grabbed Crokius and jumped under a table right as it crashed through the house.
The tornado roared as it sucked Comet and Crokius into it.
Comet flew against a chair flying around.
Crokius held on to his brother's tail.
Suddenly they landed on a floating island.
Storm sat upon it in the eye of the storm, chanting something.

Chapter 22 The Darkness of Storm

"Storm?" asked Comet.
Storm said nothing as he stared straight into a convexity of power.
Comet ran up to Storm and shook him.
"Why.... have you followed me?!" growled Storm, still not turning around.
"The storm, it is trying to kill us!' cried Comet.
"No... I am trying to kill you!" cried Storm as he raised his paw and slashed backwards, not looking at where he was slashing.
Comet fell to the ground in pain as Storm walked up to him.
"The whole town and have decided to kill you! You're too much trouble! You want to know why my name is Storm? Because I am a storm!!" exclaimed Storm as he shot a flare of darkness at Comet.
Comet evaded, Crokius's tail was hit.
Crokius cried in pain.
Storm ran towards Comet and drew his sword, ready to strike.
Suddenly, Comet shot a huge wisp of Fronze and knocked Storm away.
"Waa????? That's impossible! No matter, you won't defeat me!" cried Storm as he shot darkness at Comet.
Comet was hit and dangling from the island's edge.
The tornado wisped at his scales, ready to take him away to death...
Storm stormed towards Comet, ready to knock him off.
Suddenly, Comet shot Fronze as hard as he could and sent Storm flying across the island.
Comet got back up and shot Fronze straight at him, knocking him off the island.
Storm roared in pain and flew back up.
Comet quickly shot more Fronze and suddenly knocked Storm so hard that he flew into the tornado's winds.
"No!!!!!!!!!" roared Storm as he faded away into his own storm.
Comet was speachless, he was a murderer.
Comet grabbed Crokius tight and hid behind a huge boulder as the tornado began to calm down.
After an hour, the storm had disappeared.
Comet jumped off the island and flew away with Crokius.

Chapter 23 Back to the Village

Comet landed on the ground in the village.
He walked Crokius over to another dragon's hut, "Crokius, I can't stay here with you. You must stay with someone else."
"But Comet!" cried Crokius.
"But nothing! This is the safest place for you, not for me." cried Comet.
"Okay..." said Crokius as a tear drove down his face.
Comet gave Crokius a tight hug and knocked on the door.
He then left Crokius there and ran off to the forest.
Villagers saw him and got their pitch forks. They began to chase him.
Comet shot Fronze at them and ran into a cave.
They ran past the cave, not noticing.
Comet came out and trekked away a differen't way. This was his life. And this was what he had to do.

Chapter 24 Garbage

4 years later,

Comet sat upon a dumpster. He covered his nose at the smelly garbage in it. Oh how he hated garbage. Garbage was the worst thing on earth, for it was so sick. Everyday he ate this.
A dragon was busy eating a pig over at a shop.
Comet licked his chops and his stomach growled.
The dragon tossed the pork in the trash and Comet began to eat.
Everyday this was what he did, he fed off of garbage dragons threw away.
Comet looked over at hatchlings playing hopscotch.
"How do you know when you were never ment to be born?" asked a blue one to a yellow one.
"When you are a stray!" cried the yellow one.
The green one peered at Comet.
Comet avoided eye contact and went to hide behind the dumpster.
"I don't think we should be making fun of him..." he heard.
"Oh shut it, Rodney!"
Comet stayed there...

Chapter 25 A mysterious figure

Comet sat upon a stone. He was hating this day... All he ever heard was: Strays are so stupid. And: I'd hate to be a stray! He couldn't stand it, not one bit!
The group of dragons that he had seen earlier were still making fun of him, except for the green which seemed to be sorry that the others were being mean to him. The yellow one had even threw a rock at Comet, hoping to kill him.
Comet gazed at a dragon throwing away a cow leg in a dumpster. He rushed over to it and began to eat. He was fed a lot, which is strange because many strays are always skinny. He turned to see a mysterious figure at the back alley walking towards a dragon. He gasped.
This figure looked familiar, a black dragon with blood red eyes and spikes and wings. Its wings were torn. The dragon had an evil grin.
"Excuse me, mam, but do you know where a red hatchling about 8 years old that is a stray is around here?" asked the figure.
"Why he is right over there!" replied the female, pointing at Comet.
The dragon turned around and staired at Comet with its dark evil
eyes, "Splendid."
The figure walked towards Comet.

Black dragon... red eyes... hmm...

Chapter 26 Escape

Comet panicked as the figure walked towards him. He remembered now, it was this dragon named Convexity! He ran.
"Come back here!" cried Convexity as he chased Comet.
Comet shot fronze at him and knocked him away.
Convexity went flying into the shoe store. He growled and shot convexity from his paw.
Comet jumped out of the way and ran down Twilight Avenue. He jumped into a mailb box.
Convexity ran past, not seeing.
Comet got out and walked back to the stone and laid down.
Convexity continued down Twilight Avenue...

Chapter 27 A new friend

Comet was on the ground, wimpering in pain. One of the mean kids had thrown a rock straight in his head.
"Later, lozer!"cried the dragon as he ran off with the blue dragon.
The green dragon was tired now, he marched up to the 2 dragons and pushed them to the ground.
"What was that for, jerk?!" shrieked the blue one.
"I am sick and tired of you guys picking on him!" growled the green, "We're through!" He marched away and then went up to Comet.
Comet wimpered some more.
"Don't worry, I took care of them. My name is Tyrez, what's yours?" asked the dragon.
"Comet." replied Comet.
"Well just make sure you don't get near them." said Tyrez.
"Okay." replied Comet.
"See you!" cried Tyrez as he walked away.
