I think Activision has something to do with World of Warcraft, too. But, yeah. The Quake and Guitar Heroes games are the only ones I know of, but that doesn't mean the others aren't well-received. I hate to break it to you guys, but most of the gaming populace stopped playing Spyro when EtD came out.

And to answer another user's question, I've played all of the console Spyro games, LoS included (extensively, actually), and I still don't like LoS. Different people like different things and that's all gravy.

I love all the assumptions people make just because they can't think of how they'd do something... Yes, I am blind, actually. This will tell you everything you need to know, at least about how it all works for me. I address the gaming issue in there.

I remember being more excited about TEN, actually, and feeling generally fulfilled by it when it came out. I was pretty excited for DotD, but I didn't expect much out of it. Alas, they really screwed up by being infinitely worse than my lowest expectations.

They hype didn't help, but DotD would have been a letdown any way you look at it. Even if few people had paid attention to it, it still would have turned out as crappy as it was.

Even though DotD was ruined, it doesn't stop me from liking the LoS trilogy. I now try to look past the plotholes and the sudden art style Sierra caused, and hope the next Spyro game won't be filled with mistakes like that again.

I'm telling you all not to get over excited about the next Spyro game or you might be very dissappointed like so many people were about DotD.
