In that respect the new series is better but... Its just not Spyro anymore. ANB ruined my childhood memories.

^ Agreed..... Original Spyro kept me hocked..... TLOS made me think twice about the Spyro games being "good"....

NO WAY they really screwd up this time what is their problem they do things like this very often too Tarzan 2 is a random but good example the make a sequel on tarzans past instead of thinking of that in the first place we are lucky that this is new or else Angry Video Game Nerd would soooooo review this

My Opinion on Spyro this year

1. I believe the next game will be released next year, due to Activision now owning him and maybe refresing him (also Crash as well), they are taking more time to make the game better, and Activision has bigger games to finish like Prototype, and Tony Hawk's Ride.

2. I beleive the movie will be a waste of money and I believe it will suck, but won't suck as worse as Dragonball Evolution.

3. There will be no more Legend games, they've said DotD was the last one, It has to be something fresher (new).

I hope they'll spend enough time on it so it'll turn better and better :> I'm pretty sure it'll come out next year - the movie will be released in Christmas, and they're not releasing a game before movie.

The fact that they created LoS to expand and to do what they want in the future makes me expect something better. Hope is the mother of idiots smilie

actually,no. i would rather have Spyro series die off with his memories. other than Spyro coming back and pretty much sucking. DOTD was pretty good,but i still like the original 3.

All I know is It better not be any more Legends unless the gameplay will be better, game will be longer, bring back more old characters, and a more mystery like plot.

I don't know if the movie will be bad, but I think they should have just made a new game instead of making a movie. Because now, they're probably going to be making each legend game a movie. Each one is going to be made each year and they won't have time to make new games. And anyways, I don't get what's going to be so great about it because we're just going to be hearing everything we already know.

Cynder is part of Spyro's litter, Ignitus dies, bla bla bla...

Why should you complain that Spyro should have never come than the TLoS coming? Just because it will spoil your childhood memories? I think that's a bad excuse.

Nothing about Spyro hasn't been announced on E3 09. This could be a sign that they might actually be taking their time in making the next Spyro game this year.

I think that MAYBE only maybe best time for new Spyro game is when
"DotD" is in the movie theathers . Because many peopple want to know what happened or going to happen later, so Games shell better that way....

but this is only my opinion

I'd say next year. If and I mean IF the movie turns out to be a success. Then, they shall put out a new game and make better profits from it.

No new game right now, not even shown at e3, not even a Crash game. I think they're taking a break and are putting time into a game for once, and making it GOOD.

That's why I think they should bring back Ripto and that lot from the old games smilie
