Chapter 11
Return

Glacier started the walk to the long walk to the mountains. Soon after she had started the walk she came across a pond, she checked to see if there was any fish, there wasn’t so she stepped into the pond –being careful not to wet her sore wing. Soon she was a silver dragon again, she had felt better for washing the mud off, she was glad that she’d left that wood behind her, she didn’t like it in there. Half a hour had gone by of walking at the edge of the fields When a sudden shadow passed over her, in the split second that she saw the shadow she thought it looked familiar, it was the thing that attacked her! It had come back! She needed to hide, now! Glacier was starting to wish she’d still been covered in mud. She leaped in to the long wheat in the field beside her. And not even a second after she’d jumped the black dragon had landed where she was just standing. Glacier ducked low to even stand a chance of not being noticed, but the black dragon had already grabbed Glacier and was holding her up from her tail. Glacier screamed and took a deep breath, this ice breath was going to have to be the strongest she’d ever unleashed, she had so summon all her strength. She breathed out and a large beam of light came out of her mouth, when it hit the black dragon’s chest ice started to spread to cover him from his tail to his horns, but Glacier’s tail was frozen in the grip of the black dragon, yet again she was trapped but this time by something that couldn’t move. Glacier tried desperately to head-bash the frozen clawed hand of the dragon, eventually the ice around the frozen grip of the black dragon’s hand gave way. Glacier landed on the ground in a heap, and immediately leaped up and ran.

This is something special. Glacier's adventure... Glacier's voyage of life. It makes me truly interested and happy to read the story.

I've been reading the entire story, and I love it. It touches me like the most beautiful song touches a person's soul. It entered into my spirit and gave me the feeling of the curiosity for more.

I'm saying this because I would love to read the next chapter. And I loved reading this story. It's truly wonderful and interesting! I would love to read the rest of this beautiful story.

I'm saying this and honestly, it came from the bottom of my heart. I love this story. I would read the story from the start to the end again... And again... And again!

Chapter 12
The cave

Glacier kept running without looking back for some time, she just wanted to get enough space between her and the black dragon a hill was coming up on her left with some trees and bushes she could hide in for a while, she walked in to the bushes and it was dark, she looked up immediately but there was no dragon to be seen, but a roof of stone leading inside the hill. Glacier cautiously walked inside the cave and looked around, everything was quiet so it seemed empty. Glacier rounded a bend in the cave and found a shadowy creature about the same size as the black dragon. Glacier screamed. The shadow moved and stood up slowly as if it had been like that for a long time and was stiff. Glacier didn’t wait to see what it was she just ran out of the cave and climbed up the nearest tree. After a while the creature was standing in the pale morning sunlight. It was another dragon, but this one was a pale blue colour and had glass like horns like Glacier and the same piercing blue eyes. It looked around and found Glacier “come down, I’m not going to hurt you.” The blue dragon said.

Chapter 13
The truth

Glacier came down the tree and when she stood in front of the older dragon she realised it had large scars all over the chest and back. “Who are you?” Glacier asked cautiously.
“I’m Icicle, who are you? Huh? T-the silver dragon? I succeeded.” Icicle answered.
“Mmm, hello. I’m Glacier and what do you mean you succeeded?”
“Well... I’m your mother... I had to hide your egg where Lee wouldn’t find you.”
“My mother!? And who’s Lee?”
“Lee is a black dragon, he was the one who wanted to make sure the silver dragon remained a legend.”
“A legend?”
“Yes, the silver dragon is the strongest type of ice dragon and only come every 4 generations by the dragons the gene is carried in. But I’m glad you’re alright.”
“I’ve just made my second lucky escape from Lee, but where have you been all these years?”
“well I’ve been in hiding since the attack, you see, on the night I hid you he attacked me, after that I went in to hiding and he’s still out there looking for me. And I guess he’s after you too.”
“You guess? I’d say that he wants’ rid of us both.”
“Where is he now?”
“I froze him about half a hour ago, why?”
“If we leave now we can gain the advantage of being a head of him. Come let’s go.” Icicle spread her wings and was about to take off when Glacier said.
“I can’t fly, he hurt my wing.”
Icicle turned around and leaned over Glacier’s wing and breathed a fine mist over her wing. “there you should be fine now.” Icicle and Glacier spread their wings and flew.

Chapter 14
A shadow in the sky

As Glacier and Icicle took flight they saw what they where dreading, Lee was now walking where Glacier was not even two minutes ago. Lee looked up at the sky and found what he was after, not only that but the old dragon from ten years ago as well. He was in luck, he leaped into the air and spread his massive black wings. He soon caught up with Glacier and Icicle, he opened his jaws and unleashed a black stream of fire. Both Glacier and Icicle avoided the attack. Lee then decided to over take the two ice dragons and try a frontal attack. And so again he opened his jaws and let out the black fire. And again the attack was avoided. Lee was starting to get annoyed, he slowed to be at the same level as the two ice dragons and as much as the other dragons tried to escape the faster Lee got. Lee then launched towards Icicle’s direction, but he wasn’t targeting her, he was lashing his blade like tail at Glacier. Glacier was taken by surprise and was hit in the back of the head with the flat of the bladed tail. As Glacier began to fall she thought that if she could fly in the grass of the fields she might not be seen. She landed first and recovered her self with mud. Then she started the Flight towards the mountains. But something struck her mind that she didn’t need to reach the mountains any more, she had someone who knew where she had come from, and that someone was in danger at that very moment. She had to fight Lee.

yeah, well I'm writing it on word and keeping it as a story for my self. but i'm quite chuffed that i even got to write chapter 15.

Thanks. I used a picture of the TEN cover and really changed it...I also have one of Demonica.

And reading is one of my hobbies as well.

You know that I have a silver dragon I created long ago? He's named Denon and was in my first failure story named The Legend of Spyro: The Silver Dragon that was posted in the TEN forum. He is not a ice dragon and looks more white then silver, he is the last of his kind (air dragons). He'll be in The Awakening.

Chapter 15
Down in the sky

Glacier leaped into the air and flew strait towards Lee, there was only one way she could do anything and that’d be to unleash a fury. This would be the first time she had used a fury and didn’t really know how to unleash it but she had to focus. She hovered on the spot quite near Lee and her eyes glowed white and her scales shone through the mud as she unleashed the most powerful attack she’d ever used. Large spears of ice had formed and where circling Lee, then all five of them came in at once and priced the scaly hid of the black dragon as he fell back down to earth with the ice spears disappearing into mist. Glacier had used all her strength and fell down to earth as well, Icicle had caught her before she’d hit the ground.

Warning the last sentence of the chapter may be scary and is in a spoiler...

wow now i see why you put it in a spoiler it would scare under tens, but anyway cool chapter.

Chapter 16
Black dragon


Glacier was unconscious, Icicle didn’t expect anything less, with that sort of power all released at once it would have had some side affects. Icicle put Glacier down.

She then picked up Glacier and flew on towards the mountains.
“you might not know why we’re going to the mountains but I do...” Icicle said while flying off into the mid morning sunshine.
