Ember cried with joy. "Flame! Look! The egg is hatching!" Ember squealed.
Flame trotted over. Flame sighed. "You know, Cynder's goanna find out sooner or later." Flame growled. "Well, who really cares about Cynder?" Ember snapped. Suddenly, the purple and black egg spilt in two, and a baby girl dragon fell out. "It's a girl!" Ember gasped. Flame rolled his eyes. Ember licked her new-born hatchling. "What should we call her?" Ember asked. "We? No, I'm not naming her. You are," Flame hissed. "Shesh, Flame! You don't have to act like this." Ember snapped.
Flame sighed. "You just don't get it do you?" "Get what?" Ember asked.
"Oh, nevermind. You figure it out yourself." Flame growled. Ember then turned back to her daughter. "Hmm...how about, Darkflower? Yes! That's what we'll call her, Darkflower." Ember giggled. Flame rolled his eyes. Darkflower smiled at her new name. Darkflower was also another Purple Dragon! Flame looked at Darkflower with wide eyes. "It's another Purple
Dragon!" Flame gasped. "Yes, she is," Ember smiled.
"Ma-ama!" Darkflower croaked.

Me: Ha! *pushes Darkflower into a lake full of man-eating sharks* Yay all better now.

Spyro sighed as he flew down into the Temple. With Cynder, Twilight and Starlight not that far behind him. "Wait, where's the Guardians?" Spyro asked. Cynder sighed sadly. She told him that Zarki had captured Terrador, Cyril and Volteer and took them to Malefor's Lair. "But, he couldn't of have!" Spyro cried. "He did Father, there was nothing we could do," Twilight sighed. "I wish we could of done something," Starlight said. "But it's too late now," Cynder sighed. "And anyway Spyro, were where you?" Spyro gulped, and tried to look away from Cynder's gaze. He had to tell her the turth. There was no point lying. "I stayed with Ember,"
Spyro gulped. Twilight and Starlight gasped.

Darkflower trotted and jumped around Ember and Flame's den. "Ma-ma! Ma-ma!" Darkflower croaked. That was the only word she could say so far.
"Yes, my little hatchling?" Ember smiled, picking up her daughter. "Che-ese! Crack-ers! Ma-ma!" Darkflower giggled. "Wow, you said two new
words! Well done darling!" Ember smiled, and licked Darkflower. Flame rolled his eyes. "Hey, Flame, your a uncle now! Isn't that great!" Ember giggled. Flame sighed. "How are you goanna say this to Cynder? And the Spyro's two other kids. Cynder is going to hate you for the rest of her life! Not to mention Spyro as well!" Flame snapped. Ember frowned. "Shesh! I'm sure Cynder and Spyro's other children will understand. Anyway, I've known Spyro a lot longer than Cynder!" Ember snapped back to her brother. "So? Spyro never loved you in the first place! I'm going to apologie to Spyro, that my stupid selfish sister couldn't do it herself!" And with that, Flame flew away. "Uncle Fla-me?" Darkflower said. "Yes, good girl Darkflower! But just call him stupid Uncle Flame, OK dear?" Ember grinned, and took her daughter into her nest to sleep.

Cynder couldn't believe her ears. "You stayed with...Ember?" Cynder spat.
"Cynder, please! You have to believe me, Ember put me under a spell, that I would love her. But it only lasted for a few weeks. And...and she had an egg, and I'm...I'm..." Spyro hesitated he didn't want to tell his family the turth. "Your what, Father?" Twilight and Starlight asked. "And...I'm the father, it's also the next Purple Dragon. I'm so sorry Cynder! I didn't know what I was doing! Please!" Spyro cried, hugging Cynder, as tears trickled down his face. "No Spyro," Cynder hissed, and pushed Spyro away. "W-w-what?" Spyro sobbed. Tears filled Cynder's Twilight's and Starlight's eyes as well. "Spyro, it's over. You go with Ember.
We're not together anymore." Cynder said, as she skooped Twilight and Starlight into her arms. "Bye Father, we'll always love you." Starlight said to Spyro. "We'll miss you," Twilight cried as he and his sister were taken away by Cynder. "Bye Spyro," Cynder whispered as she flew away with her hatchlings. "Noo!!! Cynder, come back! Please!!" Spyro yelled. He tried flying after them, but he lost them in the mist.

Tears pourded down Spyro's face, as he sadly flew back to the Temple. How could I let this happen? My life is ruined! Thanks to Ember! It's all Ember's fault... Spyro whiped the tears off his face and had something to eat and drink. Suddenly, Flame brust through the Temple door. "Spyro! I'm so, so, so sorry about what Ember did...Spyro? Are you alright?" Flame said, as he put his arm around Spyro. "No! I'm not alright! Cynder and my kids hate me, Cynder will never forgive me. And my kids will too." Spyro sobbed. "It's alright Spyro, I'll be here for you," Flame said. "Sometimes I wish that Ember was never my sister." "I wish that Ember never exsisted," Spyro muttered.

Cynder carried Twilight and Starlight in her arms, as she flew through the foggy mist. I can never trust Spyro, he's off with Ember now, Cynder thought with a snarl. Spyro is my true enemy, and he always will be,
"Mother? Will we ever see Father again?" Starlight asked. Cynder thought for a momment. "No, never again. He's off with Ember. And you know that. He even had a egg with her! Your true place is with me, both of you." Cynder snapped. "But we want to see Father again! It wasn't his fault anyway," Twilight snarled. "Quiet! You will never see Spyro again, neither of you," Cynder growled. "Twilight, what are we goanna do?" Starlight whispered to her brother. "I don't know, but I'll think of something," Twilight whispered back to his sister.

She had the same eyes as him, wings, horns, tail. Almost everything. But she did have her mother's shape of body. And personality. Ember wasn't sure if she could look after her daughter any more. No! I can't just give up, I can do this. Ember thought. Darkflower waddled over to her mother. "Ma-ma!" Darkflower squeaked. "Oh, come here you!" Ember smiled, picking up her daughter. Spyro deiced to go see the Chronicler. Maybe he will help me, Spyro thought. "You will be alright, Flame, by yourslef?" Spyro asked before he left. "Yup, of course I will be. And if Sparx and his family does come back, I'll just tell him you went to go talk to Ignitus," Flame said. "OK, just as long you will be alright, Flame," Spyro said. "You know, Flame. I've always liked you more than Ember. As a friend, I mean." Flame smiled. "Thanks, Spyro. I've never liked Ember either. I hate to admit she's my sister. Now on, I'm on your side, Spyro. Friends?" Flame said, as he held out his paw. Spyro held out his paw. Then the two dragons shook paws. "Friends," Spyro grinned. Spyro and Flame walked outside the Temple. Spyro spread his wings, ready to take off. "And Spyro," Flame said.
"Yes?" Spyro asked as he turned his head around. "Good luck." Flame finished. Spyro smiled. "Thanks," Spyro smiled. Then, Spyro started to run. Which turned into a sprint. Spyro flapped his wings, then took to the skies. Flame waved goodbye, and watched Spyro turn into a purple speck in the distance. I hope I can make it in time, Spyro thought as he flapped his wings faster.

"Mother!" Twilight yelled. Cynder whipped her head around, turquiose eyes burning. "What is it?" Cynder hissed. Twilight and Starlight where taken aback. "W-w-we just w-wanted to k-know where wer're going," Starlight managed to say. There was a long slilence besides the sound of Cynder's wings flapping. "Why don't you take a look for yourselfves," Cynder snarled. Twilight and Starlight gasped. "Malefor's Lair!" Twilight cried.
