I'm sorry I havn't posted in about a week, but I've been busy.

Leafwind woke up to find himself covered in bandages and to a mole poking at him.

"Ak, vake up already."
"Healer, I don't think you should be poking the patient like that."

The mole turned to a young female teen dragon and replied,
"Nonsense! Dis vorked ver me and meh brothers, it vill vork vor him!"

Leafwind moaned and caught both their attentions.

"Vinally!"
"Welcome back, Leafwind."

"How long have I've been out?"
"Two days. I'm Ruby, and this is-"
"Vealer Vloid Alexander Mole vat vour serivice."

"Well, how long have I've been out?"

"Two days." Ruby answered.

"Vxuse me! I vam the vealer here! Vou are just a vpperentice!"

"Right...sorry." Ruby replied.

"Vell, V'm going on ve break then, Ruby, you vatch him until then." Vloid said as he left.

"Do you enjoy working for him?" Leafwind asked, as soon as the healer left.

"Yeah, he can be funny most of the time." she replied with a giggle.

"Not to be forward or anything, but have we meet somewhere?"
"I thin-"

She was interuppeted as another mole came into the room.
"Mr. Leafwind, you have a visitor."

"Okay, send'em in."
The mole left as quickly as she came.
"Well, I'd better help them here, we'll try to talk later, k?"
"Sounds like a plan."

Ruby left and Leafwind left his head fall with a sigh.

'Probably just Twinkle asking for some gems.' Leafwind thought to himself.

He turned his head to the doorway and waited for the pink firefly to arrive.
Instead, he was greeted by a more shocking sight.

A blue dragoness walked in with a present on her back and gave him a weak simile.

"Hi..." Aqua greeted as weakly as her simile.
Leafwind's mood suddenly dropped and a shiver was sent through his spine.

"I... wanted to see how you were doing."
"Why, so you pour salt in my wounds?"

Aqua lowered her head but continued to walk towards him.
"Um, so, how was your Dragonnight?"

"How was it? How was it? HOW WAS IT?!?! OH, IT WAS FINE BESIDES THE FACT THAT I WAS BEATEN TO A PULP!!!"

Aqua recoiled sightly at his angered response, sucessfully fighting back tears that tugged at her face.
After a few moments of silence she continued,

"Leaf, I-"
"That's Leafwind to you."

Aqua sighed and corrected herself,
"Leafwind, I didn't mean to say those things, but sometimes you can be a little werid and-"

"YOU WERE EMBRASSED TO DATE ME?!?!"
"N-n-no, uh, well, um-"

Leafwind turned away from her and growled,
"Get out."

Aqua felt her face starting to flood and placed the present on the floor and started to leave. She stopped and said between her sad hic-ups,
"I... got you.. a gift... and... I'm sorry."
After that she quickly ran out, tears falling close behind her.

Leafwind looked at the gift and opened it out of curiosity.
Inside he was greeted by a a slightly wet card on top of some gift filling.

He took the card and read it to himself.

Dear Leafwind,

If you're reading this than my attempt to talk to you didn't go as well as

I'd hoped. I know I've said this a thousand times before but I'll say it

again. I'm so sorry. You didn't and don't desrved to be treated like that.

Please, if you find it in your heart to forgive me, you know where to find

me. If not, then, I hope that any dragoness that is lucky to date you will

treat you with the care and respect you desrve, the way I never did.

Just please, whatever you deicide, you'll be happy. No one likes seeing

you like this.

Leafwind was overwhelmed by gulit and sadness as he finished reading Aqua's card.

He looked deeper into the giftbox and found a framed picture.
It was the picture of his and Aqua's first date that he ripped up a few days ago taped back together and in a brand new frame.

Leafwind froze, and one thought played over and over in his head.

'Ingitus was right...What have I done?'

"Why are we in here again?" Cynder asked Aqua as she took her belongings from a shelf next to Leafwind's bed, which she used for storage.

"Because he hates me now... and I want to get my stuff back before he burns them."

"He doesn't hate you, he- just can't stand being near you right now."
"Thanks for trying to cheer me up, but I bet all he'll know me as a heartbreaker."

"Aqua, we all know Leaf would never hold a grudge like that."
"You're probably right, I can guarantree that he hates me."

"We'll nows our chance to find out." Cynder finished looking at Leafwind who had just come into the the guy's room.

"Hey Leaf, how was your flight back here?" Cynder asked as enuthastically as she could.

"I walked..." he replied, slumping on his bed.
"Oh..."

Silence filled the room as the three were lost in their own thoughts.
After a while of silence it was broken by Leafwind.

"Cynder, can you leave for a while? I need to talk to Aqua... alone."

Cynder looked at Aqua, who had now begun to shake a little, and back at Leafwind, who she now noticed still had some bandages and his wings in splints.

"Sure." Cynder replied, heading for the door.
Before she left she looked at Aqua and mouthed a good luck to her and left.

Leafwind continued to lay on his bed looking like he was the only dragon in the room.

Aqua sighed and started,
"Leafwind, you don't have to say anything... I'll be out of here in a sec."

She continued to look at and saw something she hadn't in a while.
'He's... similing...' Aqua thought.

"I didn't know your full name was Aquamarine." Leafwind said with his smirk.

"Uh, yeah, it, sounds kinda long so I just go with Aqua." she replied with a slightly confused tone.

Aqua continued to take her things from the shelf as things became quiet again.

"So, you fixed the picture I ripped up." Leafwind said after a few moments.
"Yeah, sorry about breaking that."

"Aqua, I want to apoligize for yelling at you yesterday. I had no right to yell at you."
Aqua was stunned at his request, and replied.
"I-it's okay, and Leafwind?"
"Leaf."
Aqua gave a slight gasp at his correction but continued with it.
"Leaf, I meant every word in the card."
Leaf smirked and said will a small laugh,
"You mis-spelled deserve."

Aqua gave a small weak giggle on her mistake and picked her bag with her things in it and finished with,
"Well, I guess we won't have to worry about it anymore."
She started for the door when Leaf stopped her.

They looked at each other for a few seconds until Aqua lowered her head and started crying.

Leafwind watched until she started talking.
"Y-you hate m-me, don't y-you?"

Leaf used his tail to raise her head so she would look at him.
"I don't hate you."
He then hugged the blue dragoness who was drying up her tears.

Aqua then heard something and thought she was hearing things.
"W-w-what?"

Leafwind repeated himself in an audiable whisper,

"I forgive you."

Aqua quickly pulled away slightly from the embrace to look at him.
"R-r-really?"

Leafwind just nodded as a response.

Aqua felt her face cover in tears again, but tears of joy this time.
She quickly pulled Leaf into a tight hug and started to cry more.

"Thank you, Leaf, thank you so much! I promise you won't regret this!"
"I know I won't, but-"
Aqua released him and looked at him again.
"But what?"

"We may be friends again, but I can't just forget what you said. If you want to date me again you have to earn me back."
"Seems fair." Aqua said with a growing simile.

"Okay, now why don't you go get some rest, you look like you haven't slept for days."

"Alright."
Aqua walked out with a simile on her face, content with the fact she was given another chance.

Leafind sighed and took the picture Aqua gave him yesterday and took out a trunk underneath the pillows that were his bed.
he opened the trunk to be greeted by various things that were important to him.

'Until the day she earns me back.'
he thought as placed the picture inside.

He gave it one last look before he closed it with a thud.

The ringing of a bell sounded thorughout Warfang, singnaling that everyone that the Dragonnight was invited to the dance at the great hall.

"Where's Aqua?" Spyro asked Cynder as they head through the crowded streets towards the great hall.

"She's stil confused about her realtionship with Leaf, but I'm sure she'll be fine."

Hey everyone! I got some earth-shattering news! I submited Leafwind to a friend of mine on deviantart and... we just might see him in a little flash movie!!!

He's making a flash movie finale to his story(2nd of 4, i think) and let his readers(I am one of them) sumbit dragons to be in it.

Their conversation was cut short by the sound of breaking glass followed by a scream.

Aqua quickly rushed so his side to check her friend while everyone just stood.

Leafwind's body gave no response.
Aqua quickly place her paw againest his neck, fearing the worst.

"HE'S ALIVE! SOMEONE GET A HEALER NOW!"
Twinkle quickly ran off to to get one along with their friends.
"Leaf, please, hold on, I'm sorry..."
Aqua inspected his body and found a note attached to it.
She carefully removed and examined it.

This is only the beginning.

"Ruby, what are you doing here, my wings have healed already."
"I've remembered where we know each other." The dragoness replied in a playful tone.

Leafwind paused for a moment and suddenly started to grin, remembering his aquantance with fire dragoness.

Deiciding to look for the dragon, she went outside to the forest outside the temple.

The place held a soothing air around it as the place was bathed in the after-noon light being blocked out in some places by the cloud of leaves overhead.

'Leafwind usually comes here to nap, maybe-'
Aqua stopped when she heard a faint giggle.
She started to search through some nearby bushes for it source.
She peered out on the other side and her heart dropped at the sight.

His started to glow at her statement.
"But I think i'm over it." she quickly followed up.

The two where too distracted to notice the blue bystander right there.
