Europe got DOTD after we've had here in the US for about 2 months' time.

that is because the game makers were selfish.

Wrong. It would be blamed on the publisher's part.

Who freaking cares, it is awesome either way!

That's the point! It's still a game. If it's fun, then it will bring in money!

Hell yeah!

Also, I was confused; it's Lion's Head studios that is British, not Insomniac. How did I get those two mixed up?

I'm a very strong believer in the saying "credit where credit is due" so in this case I think that allthough the series in its entirety(sp?) is Western, Indevidual games may be classified as coming from another country; the one where the MAKER is based.

DotD=French (Estrange Lebellules)
TEN=Australian (Krome)
ANB=Australian (Krome)
AHT=UK (Eurocom Entertainment)
ETD=? (head office of Equinoxe Digital Entertainment located in venice; Check Six Studios located IDK where)
SL=Amaze Entertainment (American?)
SOI/SOF/Adventure=Universal Interactive (American)
Spyro1,2 and3=Insomniac (American)

Spyro's American, case closed. Whether of not VU is French doesn't matter, because Spyro's published under the name Sierra, which runs out of California if I remember correctly. And his handheld games are published under Universal Interactive. I think the only game published under the actual name Vivendi Universal was Enter the Dragonfly. >.>

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Sierra's here in California, probably up north from where I'm at near areas like Walnut Creek and Northern LA around Silicon Valley (Walnut Creek by the way is the home of Maxis).

I think Isomniac was American, and no one can compare to the original creators!

Uhh... If Spyro was French, and this information got out, it would kill the series... English and Australians don't have good relations with the French.

Anyway the game is American, the creator is an American, it was made in America, it was published by an American company. It has Democracy written all over it.

The British have a fine relationship with the French; they were allies in both world wars. Anyway, it wouldn't kill the series it's not like certain coutries would refuse to sell the game because of where it was made or who owned the franchise.
