You know we do have proof of a god existing. Our species may have gone extinct in the many outbreaks of the plague. But did it? No, if there is no God then there would be no human race. 1: No, we don't. God hasn't come down from the sky and said "hey I'm real, if you don't believe in me you're wrong," or anything of the sort. Pretty sure of that, since I think that would have had all of the news stations report on it.

2: Once again, no actual, undeniable fact. God didn't come to earth and say "hey, I've got a cure for this whole plague thing, so you can survive." Still no proof.

3:The pope believes in evolution, is the pope stupid? You can have science, and religion, like most people do. Being religious doesn't mean you have to decide science doesn't exist.

4: You have no evidence.

5:Ignoring the fact you say it's monkeys (which is completely wrong, it's that we came from a common ancestor we shared with primates), evolution takes a very very very, very long time. It's not an overnight process. It takes many generations, there's no one discernible point where it's "oh, this one is completely different than the last one," it's that if you compare it to the original skeleton thousands of years ago, there's tons of very noticeable change between the earliest one, and the current one. Take a look at this image:



And look at the yellow in the image. Now look to the left, and you'll see it's transitioned to green. Where did this change happen? There's no easily discernible point where it changed, it just... did. It is now a completely different color that you're looking at, with out any discernible point of change.

6: It's because we are much more evolved than those animals.


7: No goddamn **** that some people will survive in the world, when the attack was on two ****ing buildings, which you may notice is not the entire world.

Religion is young, very young, the first Homo Sapiens probably worshipped the Sun and the Moon, maybe even the stars. Some pantheon-style religions even worshipped a sun-god(ess).
Religion is also a human concept. Sometimes even marketed like a product, telling you why you should have it, and the consequences of not having it.

The concept of all of the gods us humans have come up with will cease to exist as soon as we do.

Personally, I just don't care. To elaborate, I don't consider myself as an atheist, nor do I follow any religion. To put in bluntly, as I have previously stated, I don't care.

You are all absolutely in your right to discuss and debate religion. Just please keep it civil. If you're going to report Alydol for accusing someone of a mental illness, don't then go and claim one of their posts gave you "terminal AIDS".

There's several other species of animals that are around our intelligence (dolphins, for one). Difference is that we have the thumbs to be able to create and use that intelligence to the best possible way.
Also I'm fairly sure studies have shown that other animals, including dogs, are capable of emotions not that far off from humans.

The world isn't perfect and even the most optimistic person can admit that. The world can be beautiful certainly, but it can also be ugly. There's multiple facets into this.

And the odds were likely that a lot of people were going to survive 9/11. Both towers remained up for a "decent" amount of time after they were struck, allowing people who were near the area or in the lower floors to escape. But frankly if bad things really did come to a good end, those towers would've stood standing and still be standing today, as opposed to the vast empty chasms representing where they once stood. And we would've been able to close the site down and simply repair the floors and structural damage that occurred when the planes crashed and then reopened with the old buildings, rather than having to start all over from scratch and still be doing construction to this very day with at least another two buildings left to go.

That sounds impossible, right? Almost sounds like something from Minecraft to have a building lose most of its supports and still be standing. But with all powerful omnipotence, could it have happened? I don't know myself but that's just because I don't really believe in it and don't think much about it.

Chances are the people reporting and the people posting aren't the same. Considering Alydol went to someone's guestbook to insult, it's spreading elsewhere.

Thats..2,996 with over 6,000 injured, and some are still suffering because of the asbestos that was in the air for a long time. It's actually caused at least over 80 deaths the last time checked. If that's ending "bad on good" then I really don't think I want to continue talking to you.

I'm a christian, however, I don't believe that 9/11 ended in a good way.. As CAV said the buildings themselves still would have been standing. Just because "oh well people survived!" doesn't mean something good came from it. I guess you could argue that American Spirit was at it's finest in the days after, but I really don't think that counts..because we also went to war after 9/11. Bush put boots on the ground and we didn't get Osama Bin Laden until years 10 the whole ordeal.

People also still suffer from PTSD, one woman from the 21st floor didn't go back to Manhattan for 10 years because the emotional distress.

But you know, 9/11 ended good.

On a completely different note, you understand that the 7 days wasn't a Monday to Sunday week. God created the universe over millions of years, each segment of time being counted as a "Day." You also understand that while God was watching over the Garden of Eden, Canaanites came from out of nowhere. The only logical thing I can think of is that they evolved. It also makes sense when you really read Job 40-41..you know, the Leviathan and the Behemoth. There's been a lot question as to what they are. The only thing that I've heard people say is that their dinosaurs. With that being said you can only logically dictate that Adam and Eve didn't look the same as we humans do today. Meaning they were created, but God allowed them to change and adapt to the world he created for them.

i reported it to bring attention to the full argument, reporting every single post in that argument would of been excessive and that post seemed the safest one to report
