Found a copper Roller Brawl at Best Buy, and then copper Tomb Buggy at a local Walmart I found the Power Blues at last Thursday. Same day I got the land pack in the mail.

Gonna hold onto them as trade fodder for the three Yawn Traps. And if no trade, I'll get enough to at least two of the Yawn Traps, if not all three.

Probably not going to be able to make that much for them. Ask yourself a question, how many chase Skylanders have you found in all your time looking for them? And then you found one at two different stores on the same day? Heck, I was happy when I found one myself, but it is fairly obvious they are a great deal more common than previous chase variants. Even the patina ones were not ridiculously rare. I'm considering just opening it, there are probably three dozen or more of them on EBay right now - all with varying levels of delusion on the price.

Yawn Traps, on the other hand, are ridiculously uncommon. And apparently they have decided to close off the giveaway they were having for them. I'd bet money a good bit of the people that called in and got them are going to scalp them on EBay. Each of the three Yawn traps are probably worth more than Copper Roller Brawl and her Buggy together.

Well, the life and fire Yawn traps have been going down in price ever so gradually. I venture to guess I can get 200 for both of these combined at this time, or more later on when they fade into further obscurity.

I see a couple of bronze RB and TB that sold as a combo go for 300+. Never know. That would get me the fire and life yawn or lay for all but 100 on a light yawn, in time.

I'll play it by ear. It's pathetic we as customers have to do this, because they refused to release the traps here, but it's whatever. This brand will be on its way out one day, and they will have brought it upon themselves for alienating their customers, or not releasing product. Either or.

Originally the bronze ones did sell high. But since it seems everyone and their grandmother have found one those auctions don't seem to be going well.

It's weird though, they finally seemed to do chase variants right at this point.

Yeah, this is the first time since Gold Chop Chop back in 2011, that I've found variants. Now, I could go hunting and see if I could find maybe 4 more, if they're that common and sit on them for a Yawn Trap fund, or wait for these to maybe climb in price for late variant adopters.

For every Best Buy, Target and Walmart I hit that day (and there's a lot of those three stores in my city), only two stores had a chase variant. It does kind of scream that maybe they've upped production of chase variants, or it could have just been sheer dumb luck.

You hit stores more than most people for 5 years now, and you found two in a single day - and the first since year one. Many others are reporting remarkable success at finding one or multiple. That's not luck.

I wouldn't sit on them, there are no late variant adopters anymore. It's a pointless endeavor. I've been in a few Walmarts this weekend, no Power Blues here yet. But, I've seen the Easter ones and Wave 4, and no one is buying. Let alone spending a ton on rare(r) ones.

Cut out the bickering, you two. This is the only warning you'll get.

I just threw mine up on EBay the other day. Was gonna try and use the money to get more Yawn Traps, but forget it. If Activision wants to be that way with their brand, I'm not stepping out of line for them, by paying scalper prices for more when I already did. So, if my two bronzes sell, I'll spend it on the competition or on other games. Or go to a nice dinner. Nom-nom.
