Picked up High Volt and Burn Cycle at Toys R us.

They also had regular Stealth Stinger and Smash hit as well.

I just got back from a shopping spree with my dear mum. Picked up High Volt, Stealth Stinger, and Shark Tank. So yay for that.

Got Smash Hit and High Volt, sadly no Jet Stream.

Went to my closest Toys'R'us, they had no wave 2 out...I loathe the fact that Activision does so much with TRU, they are the worst retailer out there. I think I'll just stick with ordering off Amazon even if it takes longer for the release. Driving 15-30 minutes for them to have no stock is getting tiring.

Anyway, did you ask a clerk? They could have been in the back or behind the counter.

I got the Chase Variant High Volt today along with W2 goodies. It seems that every TRU may have gotten exactly one of these in their shipments at every store. Many of the boxes also looked a bit damaged as it was clear they were ripping out the broken skylander. So I guess this is my first official chase variant find in a store, but I don't think he'll be very rare.

Not every store got a variant. I personally opened every box at my local Toys R Us. I have done that many times and I have never found a chase variant in store.

Right, but I'm talking about THIS variant. Would be interesting to see if we see that pattern. This feels like Fuzzy Springtime Trigger Happy to me. I guess I can't admit that maybe I was lucky.

My TRU didn't have them out, but were nice enough to get them.
As for the worst, I went to a Walmart and they had SC out, but went on day 1 for the exclusives at BB and Target.....Nothing was out, the signage was barely noticeable and had to ask an employee to get them, which ended up being more than one. Reminds me of the joke, "How many people does it take to change a light bulb?"

Only vehicles at my local Toys R us sadly. but I know i am going back on Tuesday since I need something from the Gamestop inside the mall next to it. Maybe then they will have the characters, and maybe the triple pack as i refuse to go into a Walmart unless I have to.

I had to ask for them to get them in the back. No High Volt variant. High Volt is AMAZING!!! Smash Hit is...interesting. I was going to take him back but he's growing on me. Really Want the Terrafin/Shark Tank 2 pack.

Yeah for the most part TRU in this state sucks too. I've never had to argue/beg a store more to sell me something.

Dive Bomber was doomed to be a shelf warmer early. With both water vehicles out, most are gonna snag the one that also gives you a boat load (no pun intended) of content with it and just "another" vehicle.

No luck still here (not to mention being in Canada). No sign of wave 2 anywhere, including the 2 TRU stores I did yesterday. Both stores have Skylanders stuff way hidden in the back of the gaming section too. While DI is in the front. It's... idiotic.

Still no sign of the Shark Tank, either. Walmart got *nothing* yet. Niet. Nada. This is sad. At least I scored Smash Hit from Best Buy. I don't really like him, though, to be honest.

Oh well. Maybe next week, hopefully...

Dive Bomber has a pretty bland design as well. Reef Ripper has a much more dynamic and bad@$$ design.

Nope, I too opened every case of Wave 2 stuff at my TRU at opening and there were no chase variants. The boxes were still factory/originally sealed, were completely full and contained only High Volt & Smash Hit. It's possible that the High Volt variant got packed heavily into the original Wave 2 cases and stores that ended up with the "new" cases lacked those. At this point I'm just glad I snagged all of the vehicles off of Amazon when they showed up. My local TRU only had two cases of the figures and nothing else for the Wave 2 launch this past Saturday.

Did they not figure this out last year with the water traps? Gesh.
