Actually I think 5 minutes isn't enough time focused on Skylanders news for what is essentially a Skylanders site.

It depends on how long the podcast would be. Assuming it's the average(?) 2 hours, at least 30 minutes spent on Skylanders should be in there (news, discussing the news, other Skylanders bits). I understand if that maybe leaves some S&N users disappointed or give them the idea it could be boring, but it's not fair to the Skylanders users to limit the main subject of the site to such a small portion.

What about a competition to involve some of the other sections?

Maybe a design your own Skylander for Fanart, maybe a poem or backstory for the winning design from fanfiction and maybe some Memes for S&N.

The reward could be a gem boost.

The Games section for me needs to be the main focus, because that's the discussion and news, the others could slot in on different days.

I think the podcast should be primarily about Spyro Orange, and everything else should be discussed through the prism of how it relates to Spyro Orange.

Yeah, Skylanders should definitely be a larger focus. Have a section for general site news, then sections devoted to the off topic boards, then maybe we could have a major discussion topic at the end.

As I said before, if we were to actually do a podcast I'd be up for hosting on it.

So, what do you think of this format?
  • 5 minutes Skylanders news
  • 20 minutes Skylanders discussion
  • 10 - 15 minutes Spyro discussion
  • 20 minutes off-topic discussion

    • Which brings the podcast to approximately an hour.
    For people that ain't interested in Spyro/ Skylanders/ Off-topic discussion it could also be uploaded to YouTube in sections as well as the full show.

    Each section could also have a different cast of users as, obviously we all have different interests and topics in which we would rather discuss.

    Due to everyone's tight schedules it could be a monthly podcast as oppose to a weekly podcast.
