Gives Austin the basket I was holding behind my back "it's apples and some homemade bread"I say

"Share it ok" I said

"Er, um, okay... thanks." I said, nervous about being with these two, well... people with grudges against monsters. I mean, they seem friendly enough, I thought, but... if they ever found out what I truly am, they might turn on me in an instant.

Sniffs the air "A wolf!" I say runs after it once I reach him I pet him happily

"Brian" I say "look" I look up and there is a big castle

Wanders into the castle with a trance like look in my eyes

"So, uh... you like people, you like wolves, and you hate monsters... right?" I ask, following her into the castle, before quietly muttering to myself. "Well, two out of three isn't too bad."

Doesn't answer. Walks up the stairs To a dark room

Passes out

I ran after Opal after giving the basket to the guy "Don't run off like that Opal... You scared me" I said as I followed her, when she passed out, I held her

I Wake up after what seems like hours "where am I? How did I get here" I say looking around

"We're in a castle, I followed you here, I held you the whole time my love" I said before kissing Opal on the forehead

Blushes and gets up "catch me if you can!" Runs off into the forest until I reach a shiny gem "Wow look at this" I say

(Da kiss was sudden lol)

I ran after Opal and stopped next to her "It looks almost as beautiful as you Opal" I said with a blush

I blush as I pick up the gem realizing that it's evil so I drop it "let's go away from the gem" I say with a worried look

"Ok" I said as I picked Opal up bridal-style "Lets go to my house, its safe there" I said as I started running home

Falls asleep in his arms

Not really having much to do, I decided to follow the two, while keeping a respectable distance from them so they could have their privacy. As they neared the home, I decided to remain in the nearby wilderness.

When I got home, I saw Opal fell asleep, so when i got inside, I carried her up to my bedroom and put her in bed "I love you Opal" I said before placing the blankets on her

When I wake up I decide to go outside and walk around

I was already outside "Hey Opal" I said as I walked up and hugged her

"Hi I say "I sense someone" I say looking around

"Its probably that guy who was with us yesterday" I said

I look around "yes I think it is" I say though I see nothing

"So, what do you want to do now?" I asked Opal as I held her

By this point, I'd fallen asleep up in a tree's stronger branches, with the book I'd been reading laying on top of my chest. While I'd mostly looked human, however, sleep's hold over me had caused my control over my own form to lax, giving my appearance a few monstrous traits, such as pointed ears, fur-covered arms, and claws tipping where my fingernails once were. A fluffy, lupine tail had started to grow from my lower back, as well.

"Let's go look for Brian" I say as my ears and tail appear.
mumbles to self madly about something

As I look around I see him in some near by trees with ears and a tail "..."

I followed, wondering what Opal said "What's wrong?" I asked

I point over to Brian "He's like me" (ears and tail)

"H-huh?" I said, as I stirred awake from my nap, trying to see the source of the voice, before seeing Opal. "Oh, uh, hey there." I said, turning to sit sideways on one of the larger branches of the tree.

"So?" I asked before looking up at Brian "Hey buddy"

"Oh, uh, hey there... actually, I'm not quite sure I caught your name." I said, hopping down from the tree, landing in front of Austin. I extended my hand out to him in greeting, before I'd noticed the claws jutting from my fingertips, causing me to quickly withdraw my hand and hide it from view a second. Shortly afterward, I held out my now completely human hand to him, a friendly smile on my face, as I was unaware that my ears, arms, and tail still looked abnormal.

"He's a half animal like me" I say still surprised

"I'm Austin, this is Opal... I kinda like her..." I said as I shook his hand "Its ok buddy"

"Er... half animal is one way of putting it..." I said, rubbing the back of my head , feeling one of my pointed ears, and blushing. "...although I don't think I'm quite the same kind as you, miss Opal. You guys probably won't have to worry about any trouble from me, though."

"Follow me guys" I say while smiling. I lead you into the forest to an oak tree "This is a tree I planted" I say

"That's nice Opal" I said with a smile as I looked at the tree

Annalee wandered through the forest chasing blue birds and collecting their feathers. She took a piece of blue sting she had and tied the feathers to the string and then dragged it around behind her as she hummed happily to herself.

Climbs up tree but the branch cracks if I move I'll fall "Austin back up" I say

Annalee's elf like ears twitch at the sound of a tree branch cracking and she runs quickly to where the sound came from climbing the tree quickly hooking her legs on a branch above Opal grabbing her arms and holding on as the branch falls from under her feet. "Miss you really should be careful. This oak isnt old enough for its lower branches to hold you up. It would be aweful for you to get hurt." She spoke gently letting opal down to the ground before getting out of the tree herself and straightening out her shirt.

"Thx. I planted this tree. It's not normal it's magic it shouldn't break." I say

"I could tell... But even magic takes time." Annalee says softly. "Im annalee. I live in this forest. Who are you?" She asks kindly as she looks at everyone with her crystal blue eyes.

I hugged Opal "Thanks ma'am, I'm Austin and this is Opal" I said

"I'm Opal" I say "You don't understand there is an evil wandering the forest trying to hurt me" I say and quickly run to my house for my swords. When I come back u have both my swords.

Bushes rustle behind us I look back and there's a shadow "Austin! " I shout "Run!" I Run as fast as possible off into the forest
