Varedis and Jeffrey drew closer an stopped just outside of its range.

Toan leaped forth, at a last second debate, his legs began to bulge from pulling strength from his dragon side to withstand the fall. He had dropped just a yard from the tree line. He landed hard, harder than he thought, but to hold the first impression strong he stood up steadily. The thickness of his limbs dulled down to his human standard as he rose as to hide the minor abilities.

At full height he placed an arm across his stomach, palm up, and the other to his rear. Giving a courtly bow to the group, "Excuse my entrance, I'm not much of a social bug," he came back up to stand with his arms drooped to his sides, "I did not mean to frighten you with my anger."

"Yes, and where does your allegiance lie?" Xavros added, keeping his sword drawn, the calming aura at the ready.

Toan, almost child like, sat down leaning onto his palms as his arms were stretch out behind him, "My name is Toan, and my reason for being out here is quite the same as yours," his tone was refined and smooth, unlike his appearance, "That hog minded idiot everyone knows as Storm has something most precious to me, like you, and I very much like to get her back."

Upon seeing the group, Adeline immediately ducked behind a tree, fearing for a moment that they were trappers.
As she listened in on her conversation, she quickly relaxed, feeling a wave of sympathy for their situation, and furthermore, she had a thought that maybe this could be the chance she had been looking for to save her friend.

Taking a deep breath, her nerves already out to best her, Adeline slowly stepped out from where she was and removed her hood after putting her bow and arrow back, making sure she seemed as little of a threat as possible. "H-Hello, good sirs... I can relate to your troubles, I have also lost my Dragon, and I could make it worth your whiles if you let me come with you to save her."

Toan laid completely back an arched his head further back to look at Adeline, "Do we look like mercenaries?" He sat up somewhat before flinging back to flip up and over back onto his feet. Standing with his hand propped on his hips, "But if you insist I protect you, I could use a little incentive," he started for her, "I'll send the bill when it's all over," he made a light grin as he brushed possible grass and dirt off his back as he approached, seeing as she is still new to them, he stopped not too far from where he came from with his hand propping themselves onto his back as he looked at Adeline, "My fair may be lower than theirs," he raised his left hand off his back to point at the others.

Adeline pursed her lips, though refrained from saying the first thing on her mind as it wouldn't be all too kind in the first place. "Understood." She agreed, sweeping her hair out of her face.

"Think of this as more of an alliance than an 'escort mission' of sorts, I am a bounty hunter afterall, second finest in the land as a matter of fact, so I am no stranger to high-risk conflict. It just usually doesn't involve trying to take down an entire army single-handedly." Adeline added with a slight smirk.

"If it's an ocean that we need to cross, and you're experienced in dragon-riding, I very well may have learned the perfect spell for this situation. A dragon-crazed shaman I know knew the secret of taking a draconic form, and I have the knowledge to attempt it, myself." He paused, as the roar rang out, his head turning in the direction of the sound.

"Something doesn't smell right," Toan said to himself, "Best take the lead then," he was about to leave but he looked back to the off worlder, "Wherever you came from, no normal person can just change into a dragon," he then pushed off, jumping into the trees and continuing to follow the sound of the roar, "Doesn't sound much like a cry for help. It was more of a come and get me," he added, speaking to himself again as he jumped from tree to tree finding himself just above Sozen as they moved almost in unison.

Xavros smirked at Toan's comment, as he sheathed his blade. "Well, it's a good thing I'm not a normal person. It takes a considerable amount of mana for a caster like me to take draconic form, although there is a beast awoken within me that doesn't have such limitations."

Varedis smiled, "I can turn into a dragon, again, it takes considerable effort and I may not be as agile as the regular dragon, but I could suffice,"

Jeffrey nodded, "That would be helpful, but right now I want to know what that beast is roaring about, and whether it's actually a dragon or not."

"If it's a dragon they want," Toan stopped and started to remove his sturdy equipment, "Then," his skin started to change color as he gritted his teeth, "It's a dragon they'll get," he had placed his items in a long strapped satchel. He turned back to view the scene with his now dragon eyes.

Claws replaced his fingernails, red scales protruded from his skin, and his hair thinned out to almost nothing as the dragon crest began to grow along with the horns. He shakily crouched and placed his hands on the ground, "I hate doing this sometimes," he closed his eyes and his wings launched up from his back looking like ripped skin, some blood visible. His arched spine began to dip with many pops, then one big crunch as his spine broke from the pelvis to reform more parallel to the ground, "Gahh!" Toan yelled out from the changes, "Grrhhhh... Haa!" He flicked his legs out as his bones arched and blew out the other direction. Muscle grew around the bones to form tall dragon legs, his hands had molded together and the bones enlarged to grow in behind and attach to the claws. His neck began to extend as his nose and face stretched out into a muzzle. His crest fully formed, tail extended, wings hunkered down to his sides, and his head hung low. An adult size dark red dragon now stood where the brave grief stricken soldier once stood.

Toan, as a dragon now, started for the group slowly. Unsure how exactly to approach them, he looked to the others that had arrived or will arrive.

Adeline arrived just in time to see Toan make his transformation, staring with interest.

"Well, how about that..." She whispered to herself as she looked him over, brow raised. She'd faced people with the ability to turn into a bestial form of some sort in the past, and it never ceased to fascinate her. Also taking action, she drew her bow and chose some electricity arrows, firing them at a couple of the trappers, where they filled them with bolts upon hitting their mark.

While Adeline focused on taking out the trappers, Xavros turned his focus towards the nets headed directly for Toan. He held his arms together, channeling red magical energies in his hands, before he swung them (and the energies) forward, letting out a concussive blast of Banefire up to meet the nets midair. The flames swirled around Xavros's hands, assuming the shape of a draconic maw unleashing flame, as it launched outwards. Mere ash soon fell to the ground, as the rope was incinerated immediately on contact with the magical flame.

Varedis ran forwards, but in a daring leap over a spear, he slipped on some mud and fell off the edge of the cliff. Jeffrey was filled with rage and muttered darkly to himself as he eyed his target, "That sword that you hold on to, is it going to save you? When I send the neurotoxin... how long can you hold your breath? What if you were to let go?"

And Jeffrey produced a vial of murky gas and made it dissapear, then it exploded underneath his target sending out neurotoxin straight towards him, "Ha, the explosion will have knocked the breath out of you and then you instantly take in a breath, sadly, that breath you took in was very deadly..."

Then he saw that the gas was nearing Xavros, "Run away, the gas will melt your brain..." he called but he was too far away, then a roar sounded and a Red and orange dragon soared up from off the edge of the cliff and barrelled into Xavros and then he breathed a wave of fire at the poisonous gas cloud which ignited it and also burnt one of the trappers.

Toan nodded to Xavros for the hasty assistance and flew up after Sozen and the silver dragoness. Just as he took off he spotted Varedis's dragon form, "Hmm, I'm not the only one I see, but his transformation must be more magic based than mine is," he shook the thought for now and followed the silver dragoness, "Hey, wait. Are you alright?"

Dusting the dust off his wings, he accelerated to catch up and assist, "How did they find you?" he was just above her with his paws under him to assist holding him upright, "Oh, I'm Toan by the way, you can trust me, I wasn't born dragon myself. It was something that just started changing in me," he shook his head getting off the subject and returning to hers.

Siera wasn't one to try and seduce anyone, not even as a play, but she was playing now, "When's the last time you've been with a female, hm?" she lifted her head up cockeyed, "You look like you don't get out much. Maybe I'd trust you a little more if say, you open my gate, let me out and we can fly somewhere together. Your master alone can't fly, and a scared dragon will have a racing mind as to find any selfish reason to slow the progress of chasing us down. I'd take the chance, these welps, no matter the age, will always fear you, and submit to power by power, what if one would submit to power by will?"

Varedis looked at a net that had been flung at his leg and a great orb of light appeared above the Trappers, blinding them and then he scorched them with fire.

"Zera," he repeated testing his tongue at pronouncing her name correctly, "All other dragons have been captured, where were you hiding? It's apparently a good place for safety," he recommended.

"Okay... if I've got this right..." Xavros pondered, as he gathered red energies in his hands, drawing power from his memories of the mountains back home, attempting to cast the draconic spell that Sarkhan had taught him. Not all was well, however, as a sudden surge of bestial anger rampaged through his mind. He felt this powerful force pull on the tides of his blood, as claws and fur painfully wrenched their way to the surface of his hands. As he started to shift, he slammed the energies in his hands together involuntarily, triggering the spell he'd been working on casting. His form started to warp, the final result looking much like a draconic werewolf, or a lupine dragon.

Toan glanced backward, "Not by air," he looked back to Zera, "It is possible for the others to follow, but they seem to distracted to know where we have gone. In other words, I do not know for sure," he concluded as he drifted along with Zera to keep Sozen balanced on her back.

His head finally clearing, Xavros looked down at his mostly draconic body, trying to get a feel for it. He gave his furred, batlike wings a few flaps, before attempting to lift off. He ascended towards the group, incredibly unsteady on his wings. "Well... the spell, er, mostly worked!" he said, giving a feral smile.

"I guess I could, but after I know where to bring them," he added, "No sense in going back for them if I don't know where to take them," he produced a light dragon smile.

"In the past I've had people ride on my back." Xavros mused, "so I could try carrying someone. However, there is a risk involved... I'm not quite used to flying using my own wings."

Varedis smashed a claw on a trapper down below but was about to be overwhelmed, so flew away almost slamming into Xavros on the way, He stopped, "I can carry..."

"We may not need to at this rate, seeing as everyone can suddenly sprout wings of their own," Toan added seeing Varedis fly up.

Xavros spun out as Varedis sped past, being rather unused to flying. He began to descend straight towards the ground, while screaming at the top of his lungs.
