There's one more thing I'm worried about. "If the kicktarter reaches its goal soon, it will be out sooner." Honestly, I'm willing to wait for them to make the best game possible. I'm worried that it may just end up being a rush-job that ends up being an unfinished game released at a set deadline. After all, That's where Sonic 06 ultimately met it's demise. ...I know I might be worrying over nothing, but I'm still worried about the game. It's rare that I actually want a game to be good that ends up actually being good.

Well,the S06 comparison might be a bit too much. They'll release it faster because they'll have a way to pay a bigger team - 15 can only go so far with the initial goal, but if several times that they might be able to even get a port house to get the games on consoles quicker than finishing them on steam first then doing the porting.

Getting the Digital Deluxe package with T-shirt included, of course this could change. But even for a game that's gonna take like a year and a half to come out, I can't wait for this!

Has the kickstarter done better than Mighty No. 9? I think it has, but I'm not sure. So far, I think it looks good, but one thing dissapoints me. The rest looks good though, particularly the upgrade/word-expanding system.

I'm gonna hold off until I get my next payment so I can afford the €98 pack without risking upcoming Amiibos and what not.

I was just looking at the kickstarter page, it increased in about £250 in about 1 minute.

EDIT: Also, I noticed something that might hint at one of Yooka (and Laylee)'s abilities: Before they were officially announced, Playtonic said (in response to some "where are the main characters" posts/tweets/etc.) "They [Yooka and Laylee] have already been shown. Can't you see them?", but they weren't visible. Because of Yooka being a Charmaleon (which can change colors and blend into the environment IRL), I think he might be able to go invisible.

The also taked about him having chameleon-based abilities, which means he might have invisibility (like I said above). Also, they reached £400K.

Also first special "stretch goal" revealed,even if it's not much - if we break 1 million tonight, Kirkhope is playing an ukelele outside of E3's convention center. Sure, donations will greatly slow down as the day passes,but it's anything but impossible at this point and pretty hilarious.

^He has been tweeting about receiving a ukelele and needing to learn to play it. So I'm guessing much like how banjo synth was featured in the N64 games, this game will have its namesake in the soundtrack as well. XP

Don't worry,there's a whole month for them to make one controversial decision(say, villain isn't a Gruntilda knockoff) and people cancel their donations on sight like it'd change anything. Or worse, happen like during the DLC votes for Skullgirls where people reported it because their favorite character didn't win and Paypal refused to give them the money until several months later.

It's not the game actually being made I'm worried about, it's the game being any good that I'm worried about. There's so much hype, but what if it becomes just that: hype?

It's Rare. They know what to do to make a good game, especially with a giant budget like this. They made great games for basically 2 decades, they can totally do this.

Being a well respected company doesn't make in infallible, but I hope they do pull it off.

Just don't let the hype get to you too much. Expectations get too high,the game will suck even if it actually doesn't at all; just look at people's reactions to every big franchise because they think it'll be GOTY on sight. Enjoy the ride but don't sink so much time into it that playing won't feel as great.

They've announced a final stretch goal: a fully orchestrated score if they surpass 1.5 million pounds (about 2.275 million USD). The orchestra hasn't been specified, although I'd guess it'd be the City of Prague Philharmonic since Grant Kirkhope's worked with them for the Viva Pinata series, Nuts & Bolts, and Kingdoms of Amalur. <.<;

I'm surprised that there are no backers for the Live Orchestra reward.

I'm still trying to figure out if I can back it. XP

Now I want to see Yooka in leg warmers D: I get Steve and his explanation for the lack of clothes,but I think the real problem is that Yooka just has too simple of a design for his model. Even some spots or scale lines would break the monotony a bit, but they'll probably do that once the game's graphics get a bit more development.

And I finally managed to back the game! Now to save up for a WiiU before they release the codes ._.

Well, he's already voice acting in the other big kickstarted collectathon(A Hat in Time), so why not. But it'll be kinda hard to notice him among the gibberish backer voice acting unless it's full of ECHs and over-the-top expressions.

Aww, not that gibberish voice acting again. Just another thing that makes me feel depressed about the game.

It's not a problem with the game if you're the one going depressed over someone going 'eeeh reaaah raaah'. They did that back then because they were the VAs themselves(Kirkhope voiced so many characters if he wasn't already doing most of the SFX with his voice), and now because they probably don't want to hire VAs - probably why we'll get backer voices too.
I'm so-so with gibberish in the older games, though I prefer - and that's probably the ONLY time I'm using this sentence - the ones they used in Nuts and Bolts. Not the shorter sounds compared to the phrase, the fact that they had varied noises depending on the expression. Grunty was definately a lot more crazy-sounding with many variations instead of the same laugh to different tempos.

I heard Jon Tron and Shady Vox are possibly gonna be voices in it.

JonTron is awful, but him doing a voice is pretty neat

Well opinions opinions. Regardless of how blunt and reckless Jon is about... anything really, his videos are still really good and he's pretty much a big name fan of BK. Too bad there's probably zero chance of getting Michael Jones from Rooster Teeth as well, since he's also a big name fan; he's been doing voice acting but he's been also working on the company's movie.
