OOC: If I recall isn't an alleyway just a narrow space between two edtablishments or buildings, not necessarily having to be a very large one. Or there no establishments in our current location?

He noticed most people where going to the forest. He knew he was young and needed to stick with some of the others. "Hey guys! Maybe some of us should stick together, you know. So that we are all ok!" Said Cody.

"...Can't I just dig a tunnel and travel through it?" Amelinda asked Gallan, speaking for the first time ever since she arrived there. She was one girl who wasn't afraid to get dirty, as her earthy gloves showed. She loved being underground almost as much as a mole, though she has explored forests from time to time. However, she didn't have many experience with it, and got herself easily lost in almost all of them.

Varedis came out of the dome, he'd taken off the plate leggings and chestplate but kept the mail, it want too heavy. "If only being a dragon didn't tire me so much, I'd just fly."

"I'm going to go the forest way," he announced

//If anyone hasn't decided which way to go, just know that we have one person going through the fields alone and everyone else going through the Forest which may be clustered.//

Gallan shook his head to the question that Amelinda presented to him. "Digging would be dangerous anyways, at least it would be at this current time. Plus it would take longer and we'd need to keep returning to the surface. I feel that if someone could somehow control the weather then maybe the Desert could be the fastest option but unfortunately I don't really have any powers that I know of and it would be quite a gamble to just assume." Gallan had shoved the map inside of the travel pack that he had brought with him, it was filled with a couple bottles of water and a few snacks. "And if anyone gets hungry I have some food."

"I'm skilled in the forest," Catherine decided. "I'll go there." She looked around. "I've got a couple of throwing knives that could be used for survival, so do we have everything we need for the journey?"

"The forest seems like the best option, but I always get lost in them. I can travel to the desert... but only at night. As for the field, well, are there any horses? I've always wanted to tame one." she confessed, actually opening up to Gallan more than she expected.

Gallan shrugged. "There might be but I doubt it considering that the barriers are down, Ogres have probably been picking off the horses. And if you're going to the Desert or the Fields someone should should probably go with you just to be safe. So wherever you choose to go I'll be glad to follow." Gallan looked out into the distance, far off you could see the tips of the trees of the Forest and in the other direction you could see the storms of sand flying about in the Desert. "The choice is yours."

It was quite the hard decision, but Amelinda was determined to reach a decision, with a condition.
"Well whatever I choose, I go alone." she said stubbornly, being a longer almost her entire life.

Varedis walked up to her, "well, i guess you bettern choose desert then as if you go forest with us you're bound to bump into someone, but really, it is better tactically to stay with the group, for two rreasons: One; if something bad comes up, the group can band together to defeat it, and Two; if the thing is two powerful to defeat and we must retreat, then at least you don't have to be faster than it, just faster than the person behind you, but hopefully it won't come to that."

Snow, quickly followed by Toko, stood up and walked out of the room, staring at the map. The two were so focused on their own things, Snow the map & Toko on Snow, that they didn't even notice as they took the wrong path and ended up going towards the field instead of the forest as they'd originally agreed.

OOC: Lunarz is right, Forest seems a bit crowded. I'm switching to field.

Varedis didn't wait for Amelinda's answer as he noticed Snow and Toko going towards the Field, he took one look and realized that Toko was stunningly attractive, he walked up to her, "How come you aren't taking the other route with us?" he asked.

"...Fine, I choose desert." Amelinda finally decided. She didn't looked forward to ogres. There were trolls in some of the underground caverns she worked on, and they were nasty. She heard how ogres were bigger and meaner, so that mellowed her attitude and grew more accepting of company.

"I'm just following this cutie." Toko motioned to Snow.

The young man she'd been following finally looked up from his map and noticed they were en route to take the Field path. "Oh, guess I took a wrong turn. Sorry about that." He said, apologizing to Toko as he'd told her they'd take the Forest.

"No worries, any way you want to go, I'll follow." She took out her flask once more and downed another swig of rum. This time, not bothering to put it back, but rather keeping it out to drink on the walk.

Varedis said, "Well, since you're going that way, take this," he said, producing a small orb, "it's connected to my Time Orb and it acts as a communicator, if we're going seperate ways, we should be able to talk to each other, it connects to my main orb, and I can also project myself in that location for a limited amount of time, I'm giving them to everyone who isn't going forest.

He was lying, of course, he only had one of those Orbs, connected to his own, but there were others going the Plains route, so they may benefit as well, and, since he'd moved away before hearing Amelinda's answer, didn't know she was going the desert route.

Gallan thought for a moment, he knew that going through the desert was probably the worst of the routes to take but he could tell how stubborn the female was and so he shrugged it off. "I suppose that means I'll be accompanying you through the desert..." Gallan was a bit distraught, he wanted to travel through the forest but he didn't want to let Amelinda go on her own just because he didn't want anyone on the journey to get lost or get hurt. "We should get started now, we'll reach the Desert before night and then if you'd like we can set up camp, the Desert gets cool at night so overheating won't be a problem."

He started getting worried when he got a bit ignored, he wanted to go to the forest but he did not really know anyone there, he let out a sigh,then runs over Gallan and Amelinda. "Can I come with you guys?" Says Cody. He new if they said no he may be doomed to travel by himself. He had to try though. "I could be of some help!" He speaks again just to see if they got it, he also lightly knocks on his armor around the higher leg to see if they got it.

Amelinda simply shrank her shoulders. She didn't care anymore to came, she just wanted to leave.
"Then no time to lose! Let's go." Amelinda said to Gallan, sounding a bit indifferent. She wanted to know why Gallan insisted to much to go with her particularly when there were so many others in that room. She didn't care though. Everybody there was free to decide whatever they wanted to do, so she tried not to think of her beloved loneliness.

Gallan gave a nod to Cody first. "There is power in numbers. We'd be glad to have you venture with us to the Desert." Gallan then turned to face the Miner. "You'll need to change your attitude if you want to get anything done, after all, you didn't have to accept this quest, you could have gone home so clearly there is some good in you. Let's go" With that Gallan began to walk ahead of the two of them towards the Desert, he didn't exactly need the map, he was quite good with directions.

Amelinda remained quiet. She didn't answered Gallan, but she gestured him that she was upset. That was the reason she wanted to go alone. She hated when people told her what to do, or how to act.

Mikey looked down at the map he held in his hands as Phoenix looked over his shoulders. "Let's see...the desert is certain death, the forest is hard to see others, and the Field of Anquist sounds more like the field of Anguish...." Mikey said thoughtfully as he stared down at the map. Phoenix sighed, getting bored and just began walking in a random direction. "H-hey! What are you doing?!" Mikey yelled as he went to catch up with him. "Going with the flow." Phoenix bluntly said. "...Last time you 'went with the flow' we ended up falling into a muddy pond and ruining our clothes" Mikey said. "Details, details, let's go!" Phoenix shouted as he began to run towards what Mikey guessed was the field. "W-Wait up!" he shouted as he tried to catch up.

"Here I come!" Says Cody as he joined behind them.

Damian had arrived last, as he had the longest journey to travel from where he had received his letter. The moment he walked in, he got the information, armor, and the map all in about three seconds. "Dammit, thanks for the headache." He muttered, his hand kneading his forehead. Slowly, he looked around at the remaining members of the so-called Saviors, and tried to see if any of them knew they had powers. Hopefully they did, or they would not last long on their journey.

"Of course," he thoguht to himself with a smile, "most of your powers either weaken you greatly, or put you unconscious completely. Hopefully I won't have to worry about shadow teleporting...."

He then looked on as the "Saviors" slowly split up into three groups. Damian quickly gave them all names. The Saviors going through the Field of Anquist were dubbed "The Fielders." Those foolish enough to travel through the Desert of Skree were given the name "The Brave Knights." As for the smarter ones traveling through the Forest of Cambrian were given the title "Noble Dryads."

He knew that traveling with the Knights would be counterproductive because of his abilities. He would would have to travel far, and his powers would almost be useless during the day without any shadows for him to manipulate. And with his full set of armor, which he would have to liberate himself of if he were to join them, he would get weary easily in any prolonged fights.

Of course, he reprimanded himself, the three of them would not last very long by themselves in the desert, and their little amount of water would not last them long in the desert. He could lend his water and food supplies to the group. Occasionally, he might be able to cast shadows over over them, as long as he was completely rested before doing so. He nodded, coming with a final conclusion.

He chased after the three "Knights" and hoped he'd be able to get their attention. "Hey, mind if I join you?" He said, stopping in front of them. "As I could tell from the girl's reactions to you two joining her, I assume she doesn't really want anyone with her. I respect that. But, as a traveler myself, I have to insist that I join you three. Not only could I share my supplies, but I could help in other ways." He said, a smirk on his face.

((Woah...that was long....))

Drizzle continued to walk in the direction of that led to The Forrest of Cambrian and began to think to himself to pass the time. "Was it really a good idea to split up?" Drizzle thought. "Well, it really doesn't concern me anyway." Drizzle shrugged and smirked all at once. "Wouldn't it be a surprise if I'm the first one to make it to the Town of Squall." Drizzle took the hook of his cloak and put it on as his journey as finally about to begin

"Horray, more company." Amelinda said in a very unenthusiastic way. She only wanted at least one companion, but there were still more joining in. She was like a hermit, and that much people was a too sudden change for her. After her commentary, she remained quiet, knowing she would probably give the bad impression that she was extremely bitter if she kept that attitude.

Damian stared at the girl who, like he had guessed, obviously didn't like company of more than one person and nodded. His smirk grew bigger as he realized he could possibly convince the girl with his powers. "Okay, well, hopefully I don't pass out from trying this...." He muttered, his concentration already shifting to attempt what he had planned. He quickly grabbed Amelinda's arm, and shadow-teleported to shadows of a nearby rock.

"Ow, why'd I do that, why the hell did I do that!" He muttered, instantly going weak in the knees, with a terrible headache coming on. He smiled, looking up at the girl. "Well...that definitely could have gone better." Came the croaky voice, as he realized the rock had only been 7 meters away.

Cody stared at the two of what turned from excitement to confusion, he let the thought drift away, he turned back to the others. "Should we go now?" He said knowing not what else to do.

Also, I think your posts could use a little bit more content. At least a paragraph (5-8 sentences) would be the best.))

OOC: yeah, I know, just not much is really happening at the moment, when there is more to write, I will do it! And yeah, let's wait for that responce

Amelinda looked at the shadow with a rather unimpressed look. She was more focused of Damian, who looked like he was having a migraine.
"So that's your power? Teleporting shadows?" she said, pretending she wasn't worried about his slight pain. Even though his powers were kinda impressing, she didn't think it was useful.
"Wait until there is a thunderstorm, and you'll see." she said, hoping to have a chance to show her own powers. She felt kinda embarrassed that she couldn't create electricity of her own and that she needed an outside source in order to do that.

Ooc: I will tell my powers later, I am gonna make it that he doe not know how to use it that well yet!

((Oh crap...that was supposed to say he teleported them to the shadows.))

Damian laughed, and immediately regretted that choice of action. He began to cough violently, and felt like he was getting crushed by two huge rocks. When the cough subsided, he shook his head. "No...well...sort of." He said in response to what she said about his powers. "In a way, I did teleport shadows, because we were shadows for a split second, then we were in the rock's shadow. Shadows work like portals for me. Honestly, I've never teleported with other people before, so that could've ended very badly." He smiled. "But it didn't."

OOC: Woah! I was Ninja'd like, three times. Slow down people

"Oh, so that was what suppose to happen? Well, I suppose that is more useful... um... if we want to escape from something." Amelinda said shyly, finding it very hard to open up.

Damian nodded, knowing that simply teleporting them a few meters obviously want the best way to show them what his powers were. "Teleportation obviously wasn't the best thing to show to impress you guys with my powers." He shrugged it off, then addressed her other statement. "As for your powers, I can't wait to see them. We'll need as much firepower as we can get."

Toko smiled back Varedis, as he gave her the orb. "Maybe this is worth something and I can pawn it later?" She wondered to herself as she let the orb be consumed by the mist emanating from the orb in her staff, sending it to a sort of pocket dimension within the staff for later. She and Snow continued down their path heading straight for open land in a nice peaceful looking field.

"It looks kinda pretty out here." Snow said, admiring the natural beauty of the land. "Maybe we can take the walk a little slow and enjoy it?" He suggested.

"I like your optimism, but I have a feeling we need to hurry." Toko gave a light chuckle at him, while also rolling her eyes at the thought of having to hurry to do something like this.

Amelinda just nodded, and getting another glimpse of the map that was given to her, she knew where to go. She started walking, not even noticing or caring if somebody was being left behind. It was the first time she was out of the underground for so long, so the fresh air made her feel uncomfortable.

Damian smiled for a second. "I like this girl." he said, admiring her qualities as she walked away. "But I am not going to get attached. With this journey, there's no guarantee we all will survive. Shaking his head to clear those thoughts away, he quickly scampered off after her, and called back to the other boys, "You guys coming? We'll leave ya."

A nice breeze floated past Phoenix and Mikey as they leisurely made their way to the destination. "Shouldn't we be going faster, Master?" Mikey asked politely to Phoenix who was staring into space. "Cut it with the 'Master' crap Mikey, my grandparents aren't here and you're my equal so just be yourself" he said in a sort of demanding tone. He hated when Mikey used formal terms to address him and acted like he was a lesser being. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Mikey fidgeting as he looked around him, so he decided to change the subject. "Urrrrrg, it's soooo boring" he complained, successfully making Mikey give him a look that said "seriously?" "Why, would you rather get ambushed by ogres or chased by rabid mutts?" he asked sarcastically. "Possibly" Phoenix answered nonchalantly.

As they walked, the rays of the sun hiding in the horizon was getting into Amelinda's eyes. She was very sensible to light, so she hid them with her miner's hat. Looking at that big desert they were about to cross, she could see there was nothing of interest to her. But, she chose that path, so there was no turning back.

Damian walked behind her, so the light wasn't hitting him in full force. Plus, as a traveller, he was used to traveling far distances with little stops, and his eyes, surprisingly considering his powers, had grown used to the sun's rays. "Hey...this might help." He waved his hand, a little veil of shadows appeared over Amelinda's eyes. "By the way, we haven't exactly given our names."

"It's Amelinda... you know, mix between Linda and Amethyst." she quickly explained, almost stamerring, since the few she has met in her life always founding her name weird.

Gallan had been quietly following behind the three, he hadn't exactly been paying attention to anything that was going on and therefore had missed all the Shadow nonsense. There was too much on his mind, so much about his parents and about whether he had powers or not. "I'm Gallan. That's Cody over there. You can use shadows as portals, that will be useful in the Desert, we can travel fast at night." He then went back to his normally contained self, he wasn't used to being with people, especially not large groups of people, that was probably why he was being so shy. "What is your name, Shadow Traveler?"

"So how far is it to get to this Squallville exactly?" Toko said, already getting tired from the walk. She had just drank the last of her flask and was getting annoyed.

"Roughly a day's journey." Snow's voice never dropped from his chipper demeanor, acting as if it was a wonderful length of time.

Toko merely let out a groan of annoyance, grumbling something about it better being worth it.

Varedis walked on into the forest telling the group to hurry up and walked up to the dense foliage, he looked at the Sky and wondered, "Imagine if I could just fly there..."

Damian looked at the girl, particularly noticing the little stammer in her voice as she spoke. Yes, her name was different than what he usually heard, but he didn't think it was to be shameful of. Damian casually looked back at the other two who were following them. "Well...yes, it will be useful, besides for the fact that if we go to far through the shadows, I'll most likely pass out." He turned back around and continued walking. "My name's Damian by the way."

Amelinda just nodded, and gave a faint smile, like ere was something else in her mind. She seemed nervous, and slowly and involuntarily moved her pickaxe. She was missing her hard work at the mines, nothing more than swinging that thing, collecting precious stones and digging tunnels. It was going to be quite difficult adapting to that new life.

"I wish I could fly as well," Catherine said. "Come to think of it, I wish I could actually use my powers when I want to." She recalled the numerous times when she was trying to think of what to say to someone and transmitting her thoughts, and nearly walked into a tree. "Darn it!" she whispered under her breath. "I need to stop getting my thoughts mixed up with real life."
