Serge nods, taking a deep breath. His skin grew cooler again. He wipes his tears.

As they walk, Xander listens for flapping wings.

OOC: I HATE ITBS TESTING.

OOC: WHAT'S THAT?

"Everything will be fine Serge" Jay assures

"Calder!? Where are youuuuu?” Lia calls out

OOC: ITS TERRIBLE. ITS A WEEK OF TESTS FOR MULTIPLE SUBJECTS. FILLED WITH QUESTIONS OF STUFF WE'VE NEVER LEARNED IN SOME CASES.

Serge shakes his head.
"I don't know. Every fear is just rushing back to me. All the memories. Horrible ones." He cries.

There's a sickening thud and Xander turns his head. Calder laid on his back, covered in cuts, one of his wings roughed up. He recovers his feet and returns to full human form, eyes wide.
"W-what a-are you g-guys doing h-here!? Y-you need t-to r-run!" He says, his familiar stutter chopping his sentences.

OOC: that sounds terrible

"Just let it all out. It'll be okay." Jay attempts to assure Serge

"Why do we need to run? What's wrong?" Lia asks, moving closer to Calder

OOC: It is terrible.

Serge looks at Jay, his amber eyes filled with despair.

Calder looks at Lia, then to the sky. He knocks Lia out of the way as something comes swooping down.
"H-hawks!" He cries as the thing recovers air.

OOC: I wish you luck!

"Don't get so upset. I won't leave. I still think you're a good person" Jay said

"Oh goodness, they're just hawks! Simple animals! You're a bird yourself too! Why are you so scared?" Lia speaks with an annoyed tone.

OOC: Thanks

Serge nods, hugging Jay tightly.
"I'm sorry. For running." He says.

Calder gives a look of dismay, raising his broken wing.
"They a-aren't n-normal h-hawks."

OOC: You're welcome!

Jay shakes her head "It's perfectly alright" She smiles

"Whaddya mean Calder?" Lia asks

OOC:

Serge smiles softly at Jay.
"I don't know how you like me."

Calder can't reply as a huge creature smashes him. It was a muscular boy with a giant hawk wingspan. It glared at Calder, and dug its talons into his shoulders, causing Calder to scream in pain.

OOC: ^.^

Jay giggles happily "I just do!"

"Nevermind. I see what you mean" Lia said, morphing to her feline form. She attempted to pounce on the attacking hawk, but she didn't quite aim right. She still managed to inflict a deep wound on the boy's wing.

Serge laughs softly and lays on his back, taking a deep breath and releasing it slowly. His blond hair gently falls over his amber eyes which sparkle as the sunlight glimpses off them. His muscles rippled as he placed his arms behind his head. His tattoo shines slightly.

The boy growls painfully and turns to Lia, releasing Calder.

OOC: Bump da bump

OOC: Sorry I dropped off the face of reality for a while my bad

Jay leans onto Serge, gently swaying her head as she closed her eyes to drift off to sleep.

"Alright... Almost win..." Lia growled, lowering herself into a pouncing position, facing the boy.

OOC: It's okay I'm happy you're back!!! *attack hugs*

Serge wraps his arms gently around Jay and lays her head gently on his chest as she drifts off.

The boy flapped his torn wings angrily and his companions landed beside him.
"Hand over the boy." He growls, motioning to Calder.

OOC: *is attack hugged*

Jay sleeps

"Nah. I think I'll pass" Lia said, beginning prowl closer to the boy with the torn wing.

OOC: :3

Serge smiles softly at Jay as she sleeps and wraps his arms gently around her, holding her small hands in his.
(I am overwhelmed by the posting skill omg )

The boy growled low all of a sudden.

Xander yelped in surprise as he was grabbed from behind and pinned by a boy hiding in the shadows, the boy's talons digging into his shoulder.
"Lia!" He cried.

"One more step towards me and I'll have my comrade kill him." The first boy snarls.

OOC: :D

Jay smiles in her sleep as she adjusts her position

"Alright." Lia said, taking some steps backwards towards Xander.

Serge smiles softly and runs his hand through Jay's hair, still holding her hands in his other hand.

Xander whimpered as the talons dug in further.

"Step aside." The boy holding Xander screeches, not happy with Lia getting close.

OOC: Sorry, I've been super busy lately ;~;

Jay sleeps
(Aw yeah, coming back in with a wonderful post )

"Okay come on, there is just no pleasing you guys. This one says not to step forward, so I go back. You say to go aside. Which side? Left? Right? Specifics!" Lia complains

OOC: Aww, no worries :3 *hugs*

Serge sighs softly, looking to the sky. He felt a slight dizziness coming all of a sudden and he tries to shake it off, resting his head against his hand.

"Let us take the small bird boy behind you and we'll be fine. If you take the winged boy, my friend will kill that other boy. If you attack me, we'll kill the other boy. If you move towards your other friend, I might suggest the idea that my friend can kill him, but only if you don't let us have the winged boy in the process." The lead boy says, cocking his head and narrowing his eyes in a sly manner. "So to be honest, all your 'directions' have dire consequences. I warn you to play your cards in the correct order." he says, his smile fake.

OOC: Bump da Bump

OOC: *hops and skips into the RP* School's almost out and I'm trying to be more active now!

Jay sleeps some more

"Or... I can keep both my friends. Alive, preferably. I'll catch you a crow or something. I get my friends, you get a bird, we're all happy" Lia says with an obvious sassy tone

OOC: School's almost out for me too! I'm excited to get to more frequent RPing!

The pain gets so bad that Serge winces, moaning softly. He lays backwards suddenly, close to passing out.

The boy screeches in mock laughter.
"That's not how it works. You see, that boy owes us."

Jay shoots up, startled by Serge's movement. "Serge?" She asks, worry filling her voice

"Well what does he owe ya? A bird? A bunny? That tree right there? Once again man, specifics." Lia said in a glaring tone.

Serge moans softly.
"My head. I-I don't know what's happening. Jay I'm going to pass out." He says, his forehead sweaty with a sudden fever.

OOC: I had no reply for this sentence yet Lia is too sassy

The boy growls, impatient.
"What could be more specific than his life?" He growls, his tone posing a threatening question.

Talons dig deeper into Xander's shoulders, and he cries out in pain.

"I'm gonna go get help. Stay here" Jay says, shifting to her wolf form and running off

OOC: Yes she is Sass master

"Well you see, you didn't say that originally, ya idiot. Thank you for being specific for once in your life. Also I would not recommend doing that to him. To either of them." Lia says, lowering herself into a prowl.

A rustle could be heard coming from the bushes

OOC: ooh what's this? a character come-back?

"I don't plan on moving." Serge groans.

OOC:

The boy flapped his wings and turned his head at the rustle.

OOC: Lol who could it be?

A tall figure with brunette hair comes out from the bushes, rubbing his head "Ow... Dang, falling out of trees hurt...". He looks up to see humanized birds, and let out a shriek. "What did I just walk into?" He asks, his voice a little shaky.

"What... Who are you?!" Lia asks with a growl

"Woah.. I'm Jake" The boy says, still rather frightened

OOC: it's Jaaaaaake

"Jake watch out!" Xander calls, and one of the birds swoops at him.

Daniel hears Jay's paw steps and turns to see her, a worried look on her face.

"Serge." Badru says, reading Jay's thoughts and getting to his feet to run to her.

OOC: OMG Jake

Jake screams as he throws a dagger at the bird "Please don't kill me" he begs

Jay sees Badru coming towards her. "Serge is sick! Help!"

OOC: Jake is gonna make me cry from laughing oh my god

The boy screeches in anger as the blade cuts his wing.

Badru nods.
"Show where."

OOC: you're welcome

Jake shrieks as he darts behind the angered Lia

"Follow me" Jay says, beginning to run back to where Serge is.

OOC: He just jumps in, planning to save the day, and suddenly begins begging for his life omg

The boy laughs as Jake runs.

OOC: And we all know who follows Jake...

A small cry of surprise came from the bushes as another hawk boy dragged a frail, blue haired, blue eyed girl out from the bushes.

OOC: Poor Sachi

Badru follow Jay with a nod.

Serge had closed his eyes, slightly drifting out into unconsciousness.

OOC: It's Jake, what did you expect? Him to not be scared of his own shadow?
Also Sachi Jake's coming </3 He won't do much but he's coming!

"Sachi!" Jake shrieks, running to where Sachi is

"Anybody else joining the party? Or can we get on with this?" Lia said with a sassy tone

Jay reaches Serge. "He started to moan and then he got weak. I ran for help as soon as he fell back"

OOC: omg character partay

The boy tosses Sachi carelessly to the ground in front of Jake.

Sachs cries in pain, landing on her arm with a sickening snap.

Badru looks over Serge.
"I can't cure this. He's gonna be stuck in this phase for awhile. He's going to have to recover somehow on his own." He says.

OOC: I accidentally gave Badru good grammar

OOC: yus

"Jerk." Jake grumbled, taking Sachi into his arms

Jay let out a sad sigh "I hope he'll get better..."

OOC: Ahh

Sachi cradles her arm in pain, its elbow broken.

The boy turns to Lia.
"Give us the boy."

Serge whimpers softly in his muddled state of unconciousness.

"Oh no... What happened Sachi?" Jake says, worry and sadness filling his voice

"I'd really rather not" Lia says

Jay looks down and sighs "Please get better Serge..."

"My arm. I landed on it wrong." Sachi whimpers.

The boy snarls.

"Let's get to shelter." Badru says. He looks at Serge's muscular figure. "You carry him?"

"We'll get you some help. Hopefully this cat can get rid of the birds" Jake said, brushing a strand of Sachi's hair behind her ear

"What? Alright.. Uh hey, you there. The one who throws daggers. Yeah. If you help me out here I can escort you back to Ada's for help." Lia says

Jake looks up timidly

OOC: *praying I got the name right*

"I'll try." Jay says, nudging Serge onto her back

OOC: You did. You forgot to respond to Badru with Jay

Sachi nods softly, whimpering slightly at the pain.

The hawks begin to get impatient and the one holding Xander finally lets off his restraint, letting his talons sink in to Xander's shoulder bones.

Xander screams in pain, his shoulders burning with pain.

OOC: *add on to top post for CL to reply*

Serge groans as he is moved.

Jake lays Sachi down and stands up swiftly, preparing to fight.

Lia, angered by the hawk injuring her boyfriend, jumps and attempts an attack. Once again, her aim is a bit off and she only manages to claw out a portion of his wings.
(Come on Lia, stop being sassy and start working on your fighting skills! Jeez!)

"Sorry" Jay whispers as she hears Serge's groans

The hawk screeches and lets go of Xander to check his mutatilated wing.

Serge hears Jay's voice softly and pets her fur gently to acknowledge her apology.

Jake rushes to Xander's side and moves him next to Sachi "I'll make sure you guys don't get hurt" Jake assures shakily

Jay nods as she walks with Badru

Calder looks from the injured to Lia.
"Just let me g-go Lia." He stutters. "N-no one e-else should get i-injured."

Badru helps Jay to Ada's and takes Serge from her, laying him on a couch.

Serge mutters in his unconsciousness.

"Yeah right. No man left behind. This guy over here will help protect the others. I'm not leaving until I get you" Lia says, anger was in her voice, but she meant well.

Jay morphs to human form and sits by Serge, a look of extreme worry lay on her face.

Calder winces at the anger in Lia's tone, wishing he had Badru to read her mind and tell him if she was upset with him.

The hawk boy ruffles his feathers and lunges at Calder suddenly.

Serge's eyes flutter open slightly, focusing on Jay.
"Hey." He murmurs weakly to her.

Lia pounces on the bird lunging at Calder. For once, she aimed right and managed to leave a deep wound in his wing.

Jay's face brightened up as she pulled Serge into a hug "Serge!" She beamed

OOC: I have to keep holding the door for people bringing our soccer team dinner

The boy screeches in pain and backs away. Looking at his comrades, he hisses in anger and calls for retreat.

Serge winces.
"Jay I'm still not feeling good. Don't suffocate me."
