Rougestone glanced over to Sapphire
“I think I see him”
“Really?! Where?!”
“Just follow me”
Rougestone started running in the direction in which he saw the blue figure with Sapphire right on his tail.
“Are you sure that you saw him?”
“Yeah, he is probably the only thing blue in this forest besides you”
“Ok, whatever you say”
Sapphire then noticed what Rougestone was running towards, and sped up. She started to pass Rougestone and he then sped up to match her speed. He glanced over at Sapphire and she did the same and he noticed that she was starting to give him a playful look. He quickly turned away and noticed that they were getting closer to the blue figure.

Why do i have a bad feeling...? But this is awesome!

The both of them were now focused on the blue figure as they came closer to it. As they reached it…
“Well, is this your brother?”
“Um…I think so”
“What do you mean by that?”
“He’s my brother, but something doesn’t seem right”
“What? If this is him, wake him up and let’s go”
“No, I feel like I am forgetting something…”
“Fine, I’ll wake him up.”
Rougestone approached him and started to nudge him to try and wake him up. Bluefire started to move but would not get up. Rougestone was starting to get annoyed and shook the earth to get him up. The earthquake worked, and Bluefire woke up! As soon as he opened his eye, the first thing that he saw was Rougestone and he spewed fire all over the place and fled further into the forest.

Whoa, that was cool.

“What the heck was that?!” Rougestone said after lowering the earth wall that he created to protect them.
“Um……”
“Is there something that you forgot to tell me?”
“Maybe……”
“Well what was it? The fact that your brother attacks anyone that tries to wake him up?!” he was starting to get irritated at her.
“Oh…now I remember. Since he is so young, he doesn’t know how to use his breath very well. And if someone startles him and he doesn’t know who that person is, he does the only thing that he knows how to do.”
“Let me guess, blow fire?”
“Yeah…sorry”
“It doesn’t matter now. We should probably follow him”
“That shouldn’t be too hard” she said as she gesture to a path of burned forest that led in the direction that he fled”
So the two of them started down the burned trail.

The two of them weren’t in any rush to find him since it was pretty obvious where he went. And Sapphire wasn’t complaining since she got to spend more time with Rougestone. Rougestone was focused on the path ahead of them and where the tiny dragon was that almost torched them, but that is not where Sapphire was looking. Unknown to him, she was more focused on him.

i just came up with her personality. i didnt base her off of anyone else. Her personality might change over time

While they were walking, Rougestone looked over at Sapphire to make sure that she hadn’t fallen behind. She was still more focused on him and she didn’t look away fast enough. He caught her looking at him….
“What?” asked Rougestone
“Nothing”
“No really, What?”
“Like I said, nothing”
“Then why were you looking at me?
“……………”
“O yeah, the whole ‘cute’ thing”
“……….yeah……”
“Come on, you really don’t think that I am that cute, do you?”
“Um………yeah”
“Really?”
“How many times do I have to say it? I think that you are cute.”
“Ok, we’ll talk about this later. I think that we are getting closer to your brother”
She nodded, liking the fact that he said that they would talk about it later.

They reached the end of the burned path, but Bluefire was nowhere to be seen…
“Where the heck is he?” asked Rougestone

“I can see that…”
*just then, there was a rustle in one of the many bushes that surrounded them*
“If you are in there, Bluefire, get out of there right now” demanded Sapphire
*there was a some more rustling and a tiny, blue dragon’s head popped out of the bushes*
“Hi………Sapphire…”
“What are you doing in there?”
“Hiding”
“Why are you hiding?”
“He was chasing me”
*He gestures to Rougestone*
“He is not chasing you. He is with me.”
“With……you……”
“Yes, his name is Rougestone.”
“Ohhhh, hi ya Mr. Rougestone”
“It’s just Rougestone” he said, annoyed at what he called him
“Oh, relax. He is just a kid” Sapphire said in Bluefire’s defense.
“Well I don’t want him getting into the habit of calling me ‘Mr. Rougestone’”
*After hearing him say that, Sapphire started to get a little bit excited inside. She now has a little bit more hope that he will stay*

*A small blue and white dragon emerged from the bushes and turned to Rougestone*
“So where are you from, Mr. Rougestone?”
“I told you, it is just Rougestone”
“Ok, Mr. Rougestone. So, where are you from?”
*Rougestone gave a glance over in Sapphire’s direction*
*She just smiled and shrugged*
“Well, we found your brother. Can I go now?”
*in a nervous tone*
“What do you mean by that?!”
“I thought that that was the deal. That once we found your brother, I could go.”
*still in a nervous tone*
“Why would you want to do that?”
“Do we have to go through this again? I am a wanderer, a loner.”
“So what? That doesn’t mean that you can’t have friends.”
“Yeah, it kind of does.”
“But I don’t want you to go.”
“Yeah, I know. You think that I am ‘cute’”
*Throughout the argument, Bluefire just sat there and watched the two of the go at each other*
“Why can’t you just hang out with us?” Sapphire said, now starting to get desperate for Rougestone to stay.
“Because……”
“See? …You can’t even give me a good enough reason for you to leave. All you keep saying is ‘I am a wanderer, I don’t need friends’” she said in a mocking tone.
“You know, I don’t have to take this. I could just go.”
“Then why don’t you? Nothing is stopping you”
“…………”
“Come on, give me a reason. Is there something wrong, Rougestone?”
“…………no”
“Then what is your answer?”
‘………um……”
“Well?”
“I don’t have to give you an answer”
“Yes you do!“
*Bluefire butts into the conversation*
“Why do you want to leave, Mr. Rougestone?”

“Well, why not? He doesn’t have a family or anything. Where is he going to go?”

“Bluefire! Let’s GO!”
Sapphire was getting tired of Rougestone, and had started losing hope on him actually staying with them.

“You sure don’t sound ‘fine’”
“I told you that I am fine!”
“You don’t have to yell. I was just asking”

*There was a small moment of silence between the two. Bluefire then broke the silence*

“I was there when you and Mr. Rougestone were fighting, remember?”
