I could pretty much sense their doubt, not quite fear yet. But I continued moving in shadow, stepping on a loose floorboard every now and then to signal them where I was going. Heh, it was like a wild goose chase!
I had run down a hallway where a couple sets of armor lined the halls. As soon as I'd gone by, one of them lurched uneasily off its pedestal, on its own, and stared down the hall. A couple besides it raised their swords...

Jumping at the first few creaks of the floor, the duo eventually grew tired of the shtick and trudged on down the dark old corridors. When coming to the hall of armor suits, initially just hollow shells, they were taken aback when a few suddenly moved. Wow, these guys have some cool special effects Webber thought, impressed by the display, still naively thinking it was all an act.

Dusty decided to visit Shadmé's house next. She saw the shadow of a figure in the window and cringed.

I paused a moment to catch my breath, and hear if the two Trick or Treaters were still headed the right way. For some reason I heard clinks of metal, as if something heavy was moving. Strange. Deciding it was just the two fooling around, I made my way through a small living room.
Poof.
I whirled around to see a fire in the fireplace.
That hadn't been there before.
I didn't do it.
Frowning, I shrugged, deciding it would be a good trail marker for the Trick or Treaters to follow. I tossed a log in and continued on my merry way.

All the suits of armor lining the wall turned to face Webber and Kenny and stared, eerily. The nearest one flung his sword at Webber, though his aim was way off and it got impaled in the wall instead with a clink.

Wolfy decided he'd have some fun with Dusty. Slinking silently into the back of the strange house, he snuck in and waited.
"Oh silly me." He chuckled. Closing his eyes and activating Axil's old system partially, he opened his eyelids and his eyes glowed crimson.
He grinned devilishly.
"Tick tock... Tick tock... the mouse runs up the clock." Wolfy whispered the old nursery rhyme eerily.

'So, he thinks he can outsmart me.' Dusty thought. She flipped a switch on her costume, and it started shooting out lightning bolts and glowing.

Appearance: Picture will come later, but she is a yellow dragon with gray fur covering her body, with lightning-shaped horns and a yellow tail with two azure lightning bolts on the end.

Wolfy raised an eyelid. What was she doing?
Better get closer.
He cautiously, silently approached the tigress.

Dusty advanced closer toward the guy on the robot costume. She watched carefully, electricity still coming out of the costume.

Wolfy slowly stood up, tall and menacing, soon looming over Dusty.
"The clock strikes 6..." He growls.
"The mouse falls down..." Wolfy was clearly about to pounce.
"And the wolf is jumps at the mouse." He jumped at Dusty, howling. He did not intend to hurt her, only spook her a bit.

Dusty stumbled backwards. "You asked for it!" she yelled as she turned on Pulse Mode. A wave of lightning streamed toward Wolfy.

Wolfy screamed in horror as the lighting bolt hit his chassis. Falling to the ground and shaking violently, he buzzed and growled, twitching his eyes between red and yellow.

Dusty paused and looked at the lifeless body of the kid. "I didn't mean to....." she whispered. "I'm just a killer and that's all I'll ever be."

Skyward soared above the town. The people knew she didn't mean harm, and besides, there were stranger creatures, like talking tigers and kids wearing a live spider. She dived down to Shadmé's house and landed, slightly off-balance.

Wolfy remembered 2010 at Dusty's words. Forcing his systems to cool with sheer force and will, he stood up shakily.
"Do- do people brand you as a killer too?" He steadily asked.

"I was born one of the rare few tigers who could go into a fury." Dusty admitted. "I could fight an army of crocodiles and survive. Thus I was born a killer. When I go into a fury, I can't control myself."

"Eek!" Webber jumped nearly a mile high in the air when the suit of armor flung his sword at him. It was then that he realized that this wasn't just a show, and that they were in grave peril. "Kenny!" he screamed, grabbing his partner by the shoulders. "This house really is haunted! Let's get outta here before the spookies eat us!" The spidery boy then started making his way back to the entrance, abandoning his quest for candy.

However, Kenny didn't budge. "Mmmrph mrm mmph mrm mmph!" he stubbornly protested, insisting that they press on.
"Kenny, I like candy as much as the next guy, but we gotta go! The ghosties don't like us!"
"Mmrph!"
Webber groaned, begrudgingly compromising to his friend's demands. "Alright, fine, let's hurry and find that guy that let us in, then we're out of here!" And with this, the two scurried down the corridor, running for their lives, Webber snatching up the discarded sword along the way.

Wolfy smiled sincerely.
"A virus took me over when I was born, too. I was put in, and..." A tear fell from his eye, though he still smiled.
"I bit a kid, they put me out, now..." He spread his arms and showed his mangled and ripped-off right arm, his left hand with the missing thumb, his right ear, where the coil flopped down and wires fled from confinement. Wolfy's right eye was scarred across, and it looked as if he had a cataract. He opened a handbag tied around his waist, picking up a detached, metal ear.
Then he realized what he had just explained...
If he was human under there, he'd be pale as a ghost. Well, there actually is a guy in there anyways...
Besides the point. Wolfy shook and stalled, attempting to distract the tigress.
"I uh... yeah, nothing. Happened! Happened nothing yeah bye no no not bye, heh!" Wolfy almost insanely muttered, then he bolted up the stairs.

The reverberating clang of the sword had managed to reach my ears this time. And that gave me pause. Were the kids in there fooling around? I rubbed the back of my head and glanced around, wondering if I should go check on them.
All of a sudden, the hairs on the back of my neck stood up and prickled for no reason. My time as a fighter told be I was being watched. I whirled around, checking the room around me in a seemingly panicked way.
I found a clue as I looked. A painting on the wall...the uneasy sensation was coming from there. But how? It was a painting.
I got my answer soon, as I stared at it and it stared at me. That is...the eyes on the painting blinked.
"Hey!" I barked, narrowing my eyes despite my worry. Because if it was those kids- there were two of them, so it was possible they split up- I would look stupid by running. "Knock it off!"

Dusty looked at the animatronic again. "Whatever." she told herself. "Now I should get candy." She started walking up the steps to Shadmé's house.

[Well, I haven't really been paying much attention, but Webber and Kenny have gone to Shadme's temporary house, which it turns out is haunted.]

Wolfy gasped for breath when he reached the top of the stairs. Oh, wait, scratch that, he's a robot, he doesn't need oxygen to live.
He ran anywhere he could, in case that tigress had called the pizza place. Down a long, long corridor with spooky armor.
Noticing some kids, namely the spider-boy from earlier and an orange-jacketed, very small boy, he walked over to them, non-menacingly.
"What're you kids doing here?" He asked.
