I'm not sure.
For me it's just a game so... I would not care.

I'm primarily a handheld gamer. The last game I purchased for our PS4 was Swap Force. So I would probably stop playing console games altogether and leave that for my husband. I'd probably have a little more time for games like Harvest Moon and Persona.

I'd miss the hunt for the new figures each year. (I collect all the characters and all the in-game variants.) I'd miss trying to find the perfect hat for each of my Skylanders. But life would go on. There'd be something else to play, and maybe something that doesn't require quite so much storage space in my house. I could finally figure out how much shelf space I actually need to display everything.

I'd be sad, but with Activision, we know the series isn't going to last forever. The yearly cash-grab can only go on so long.

I wouldn't be too broken up. I think it would be cool if Activision used the same technology to create a game with similar potential in a totally different world. Granted, that would be a huge financial gamble for them, and they are unlikely to try it as long as they can count on Skylanders paying off.

I would be sad if Skylanders were to end, very sad but fortunately for us this isn't the last game as Skylanders 5 has said to be in the works. I enjoy the toys and hunting just as much as I enjoy the game. If there was no more Skylanders I would be less broke, but bored out of my mind! I guess I could fill the void with my Pop Vinyls, but there is nothing like Skylanders hunting. As long as the comic book series picks up and they move forward with a movie and or cartoon series Skylanders will be around for a while. Just like with any toy they will one day drop in popularity and be brought back by our childrens children in the future and become a big hit again like MLP and Pound Puppies etc. Skylanders:Lost World would definitely be boss! Great Idea indeed. I still would play the game even if it were to end and I would still do blogs and videos. I'm a Skylander Addict for life! #THISISNOTAGAMETHISISMYLIFE

Oh heaven help us, let it end. Please make the bad man stop hurting my paycheck.

There are murmurings, whispers in dark alleys, that suggest game 5 will tie all the games together in one final hurrah. A celebratory end to the Skylanders phenomenon.

Perhaps then, after a few years, it will all get rebooted somehow. A new type of collectible figure video game. No more backwards compatibility. A fresh start.

I would be sad if Skylanders ended because it is a great series I guess you can call it and they are fun to play. I just hope that if Activision decided to end it, that they come out with another game/series. I am hoping that there will be a Skylanders 5, but I guess we will have to wait and see.

Skylanders is fun, but if they ended the series i wouldn't be too sad. Its nice with all the cool and creative figures, but sometimes my wallet would like to spend money on other things

As with all profitable ventures, they will wait and see how sales with the current game go before any announcement of a final game, but I am sure they smell the end of the road looming in the near future. It would be amazing if they tied all the games together bringing back the usefulness of the giants and the swap force...with each subsequent game, the new gimmick seems to sweep the prior gimmick under the rug like a forgotten memory.
