This news is extremely sad coming from a Disney fan. This guy was my childhood, it's a tragedy that amazing people like him have to pass on....

He was dealing with depression as well as issues with alcoholism. Just last month he tried rehab... I'm still really shocked about this.

I found out about it on tumblr. I literally thought someone was pulling a prank before I did a double take and cried. I have a feeling I'll be renting What Dreams May Come sometime this week.

He was a good actor, very sad to see him die in this way. The world has lost a great actor.

I’m speechless right now. One of the all-time greats in his own field; Robin Williams truly was a talent like no other. He was outstanding comedian who also possessed tremendous acting skills. His movies, whether it was crazy comedy or profound work of art, always had lesson and meaning. The entertainment he adorned with his presence is truly a very important piece not only of my childhood but also my growing up process. The man has left this realm of existence but the legend he made will forever live on. Rest in peace.

I found out about this last night, and a part of me died. He was a great actor, and I loved the movies that featured him, particularly Aladdin. He will be missed, but never forgotten.

He did fantastic in the movies I've seen where he had a part (Aladdin, Mrs. Doubtfire, probably some others I can't think of)... May he rest in peace.

I've been so hit by his death I haven't left my bed and i've been watching his films all day. By far my favorite. Must have cried twice watching 'Jack'.
