The 'who' of the elites means more than anything. I'm not buying them all - just to buy them all. But if there is a character that I REALLY like (see Prism Break) then I've got no issue what-so-ever with paying more to get a suped-up version in a collector package.

But I'm not going to just buy them to buy them.

i think its activisions goodbye to spyro... they dont need him anymore for the skylanders franchises.

Didn't REALLY need him except to get some initial name recognition. He's but one character in a cast of hundreds--I would say Spyro is TOO BIG to have such a SMALL ROLE in the franchise. He's still one of my favorites to play with to this day.

Spyro is the leader of the Skylands, he gets a lot of recognition as far as the franchise's canon goes. Not in the game because it'd probably sound unfair for people with other favorites, but it's a thing in the book series. Can't really do much with him after a few Series without sounding repetitive though.

I hope it's a sandbox mode similar to DI's Toy Box mode. However, it probably has something to do with Kaos Mode, Sidekicks, or the two Cores with no known element.

However, I don't think it's going to make the whole game different, as we probably would've seen it in SkylanderGame's Soda Springs walkthrough. Unless it was in the part they left out (there was a gap in the video)...

I'll say this, I don't think you'll be expecting what they show today.

Yes, it certainly doesn't blow my mind. It seems to work well, but I won't be playing it on the go if I can only use Instant Snap Shot and Instant Food Fight, as I mainly replay the games to upgrade my Skylanders. And it seems like I can't hold one Skylander to upgrade or level outside of home, unless I bring them along with me, which isn't happening. I play on the Wii U version, so I won't be using it at home when I can already use the GamePad.

I'm more interested in the new footage, glad to see it, but still not particularly excited.

I am honestly surprised if they want to push the idea of the tablet gaming experience and investing in making a slick new portal and controller with bluetooth capabilities they arent using different characters in the starter pack for it. I'd consider getting a tablet version if it gave me some other characters. I dont need half a dozen Food Fights from different starters. Be waiting for the tablet version to drop like a brick on a sale before considering to pick it up.

I am actually really disappointed that this was the so called big news what about new characters?! Not even bushwhack! I am really dissapointed with Activision hopefully tomorrow @ 3 am is better I mean ten videos right? Right????

If you look at the top right of the screen theres a icon with trigger happy on or is it trigger snappy this must have something to do with the sidekicks

Also in the menu it says outfits not hats

Exactly. As soon as it's bargain basement priced, I'll probably get it. With only duplicate characters, it's a no-go at full price.
