I might just get the dark edition simply for the Dark Wildfire, I think he looks way better in the dark edition than in his regular color.

I'd have much rather a "Marble" or "Ivory" Wildfire if I'm being completely honest BUT I agree he looks better Dark.

Earlier in this topic Gotham had mentioned part of the "Legendary Treasure" giveaway at TRU could possibly include a dollar amount to be instantly used. I think that might be my flavor of choice for now. Yea an extra trap with a variant @target is cool and all...but $25 bucks to spend on opening day on a couple new corelanders is much better....if thats the case.

I spoke with someone at a TRU and they said some of the things they were told they would be handing out is things like Lightcore Hex and other pre Swap Force characters.

I preordered the 3DS starter pack and the PS4 dark starter pack from GAME and not going to preorder the normal one as I'm going to the midnight release, and they have a stupid rule that preorders can't be redeemed until 8am so that's why I preordered the other ones, to get the preorder bonus.

I asked around a bit yesterday. Gamestop was not currently giving a pre-order bonus for the Dark Edition. Target wasn't offering the dark edition at all in store...yet. Those were just local stores, and I fully expect that to change.

Saw at Walmart they have a bonus for $4.99 in Vudu Movie Credits and a free Digital Strategy Guide Download. Probably still looking to do Target but nothing purchased/pre-ordered yet.

Have pre ordered the original starter pack and dark edition from E.B. Games Australia .. (*_*)

Not sure what the pre order bonus will be ???? It was Polar Whirlwind for Swapforce ..............

so the options for pre order bonuses are:

Target = free trap
Toys r us = something random free ("free toy or accessory and a code to win to enter 1 of 3 legendary grand prizes")
Gamestop = nothing
Walmart = 4.99 vudu credit (does anyone even use that service?) with a digital strategy guide
Best buy = nothing

and none of them are letting you pre-order the dark starter edition and get the bonus right? someone please correct me if i'm wrong on any of this. im trying to figure out where to pre order, cause i like free stuff. smilie

(is anyone gonna get the console and the tablet versions? dark starter edition + regular tablet edition = all starter pack characters. thats my route i think.)

I Payed off my trap team Preorder for Xbox 360 at gamestop got the Free smilie . i Also Preorded the 3DS version at target For the Free trap.my parents Though that The 3DS verson Was the Same game but then i told them it was Not the Same...lol. Plus i Preorded Gearshift at Gamestop too.i will probably get The Dark Edition At black Friday For The Wii Yeah i think i Love skylanders too much...

I'm pretty sure the 3DS preorder version at Target doesn't come with the free trap.
