"Come, Cloverpaw!", Dawntail said. "Let's bring our mice back to camp."

Sweetleaf padded for a while next to Wolfstar in silence, enjoying his company. She twined their tails for the second, feeling bad inside for untwisting them earlier. She knew Wolfstar did his best and that the job of leader isn't the easiest in the clan. "No need to be embaressed." She mewed, to assure him. "So the Clan's been without kits for a few moons. That's never good."

OoC: Ninja'd a bunch, sorry!

Cloverpaw's head popped out of a bush, a vole in her jaws. "Coming!" she replied, setting the vole down and rushing off. She returned with the mouse from earlier, plus another mouse in addition to the vole. With the prey in her jaws, she trotted after Dawntail.

Wolfstar lifted his head and closed his eyes for a moment, enjoying the walk as he padded beside Sweetleaf. She was right: this walk was doing him good. She began to speak, and he blinked his eyes open to show he was listening. Sweetleaf began talking about kits. Wolfstar supposed that was an easy topic for her, since she took care of the kits in the nursery. "Why, yes," he responded. "That's true. Cloverpaw was only made an apprentice a few days ago. But leaf-fall is usually a difficult time for queens to kit, from what I've heard, so I'm not very surprised. Not to mention the other Clans haven't caused too much of a stir."

Dawntail couldn't believe how empty the camp was when she returned. She dropped her fresh-kill into the pile and began to groom herself over by the nursery. She noticed Rubystone by the Warriors Den and padded over to her. "Hello, Rubystone!", she greeted.

Cloverpaw dropped her prey on the pile, then glanced around camp. Where was everybody, anyway? There was really nothing to do, unless she wanted to head back into the forest or speak with a warrior. Blinking, she decided to repair her nest, and began venturing out into the forest in search of fresh moss.

Sweetleaf nooded. "Yes, but leaf-bare turns cats bitter. Besides, kits bring the clan together in positive way, whereas battles bring us together in a negative. Kits are good for every clan, and are always a blessing. It's a good thing we'll be getting more soon. Cinderbreeze confirmed it." Sweetleaf's eyes glittered with excitement.

Wolfstar blinked as he listened to his mate chatter. Goodness, did she have too much nursery life or what? He decided to humor her. "You're correct on that, Sweetleaf. I apologize if I sounded like I didn't want kits- I truly do. Now, who's the lucky mother?" He flicked his tail.

Sweetleaf purred. "You haven't caught on yet? Wolfstar, I'm expecting kits!"

Wolfstar abruptly stopped moving as Sweetleaf revealed the news. Kits? His mate was expecting kits? He let that wash over for him a moment, then nuzzled Sweetleaf, purring. "Oh, my beautiful Sweetleaf...I can't believe it! You're going to be a mother? And I'll be a father!" Wolfstar's heart glowed as he thought about it. Two or so kits snuggled by his mate's belly, mewing for milk...then up and about, running on tiny legs beside him as he showed them the forest...then in a perfect hunter's crouch, leaping forward upon a piece of fresh-kill...he could not imagine anything more perfect.

Sweetleaf purred and nuzzled into Wolfstar. "Oh, they'll be beautiful kits. And you'll be a wonderful father! I just know it." She broke away from her mate reluctantly, and turned back towards camp. The only people who knew were Wolfstar, Cinderbreeze, and herself. She knew Wolfstar would want to announce to the Clan the wonderful news - most toms were like that. "We should head back. It's been wonderful with you, but I haven't told the clan. The elders will be so excited!"

"Yes! The Clan will be excited to hear the good news. I'm so proud of you, Sweetleaf." Wolfstar turned around to begin heading back to camp, but not before giving his mate a final lick over her ear. He stared up at the leaves on the trees as he headed back, realizing how bright everything seemed now that he'd received this good news. He chuckled slightly, but then someone accidentally bumped into him...
"Oof! Wolfstar?" The leader blinked down to see a young apprentice stare up at him with wide amber eyes. "Hello, Cloverpaw," he greeted. "What're you doing out?"
"Getting moss for my nest," she breathed.
"Good," he responded, eyes twinkling. "How about catching that mouse?" He flicked his tail towards a patch of leaves, and the apprentice's ears swiveled towards the sounds the rodent was making. "Don't worry. I just want to see if you can do it. I understand you've only been an apprentice for a few sunrises."
The apprentice nodded determinedly and set into a hunting crouch. Wolfstar watched her interestedly.

Sweetleaf purred when her mate gave her a final lick. She watched him bound off back towards camp. She padded after him, but when she approached and found that he was assessing Cloverpaw, she turned and sralked around them and ran back to camp.

Cloverpaw padded forward, Dawntail's tips ringing in her head. Was it lucky that Wolfstar had found her? She was nervous, of course, but she felt like she could catch this mouse. And there it was, the tips of the mouse's ears sticking up above a pile of leaves. This would be a tricky catch. As she moved, she made sure her tail was flat and that she didn't tread over the leaves. She got closer and closer, and the mouse poked its head up. Now!
She leapt forward, her shadow falling over the rodent. It looked up but before it could squeak she was upon it and nipped it, ending its life. She looked up at Wolfstar proudly, and he nodded. "Excellent catch, Cloverpaw! You're turning out to be a wonderful hunter. Let's go back to camp." The leader flicked his tail and Cloverpaw nodded, grabbing the mouse, her moss and following him.

Ashhisker looked for Blackeye in the place he left her. She wasn't there! Maybe she is back at the camp, Ashwhisker thought. He caught a rabbit, two mice and a squirrel. He went back to camp with his jaws full, the smell of fresh prey tempting him to eat it right now. But he wasn't going to break the warrior code, so he went to camp and dropped his prey in the fresh-kill pile. He looked in the warriors den for Blackeye, and found her washing herself. "Hello, Ashwhisker!", she said. "Hi! How much prey did you catch?", he asked. "That mouse and two voles. You?", she mewed. "I caught two mice, a rabbit and a squirrel.", he said. "Why did you run away so quickly from me?", she asked. "Uh, I saw a rabbit in the distance", he lied. "Okay.", she said. There was silence for what seemed like a moon. Finally, Ashwhisker broke the silence. "You hungry? I am almost starving!", he said. "Yeah, let's get some prey", Blackeye said as she ran up to the freshkill pile. Ashwhisker caught up to her. She picked out the squirrel Ashwhisker caught, and Ashwhisker picked out a rabbit. They finished eating and went to do their own things.

Dawntail raised her head from eating her finished squirrel, and saw Ashwhisker. "Hi!", she greeted, walking up to him. The camp is so empty! She thought.

"The camp is so empty!", Ashwhisker said to his mate. "What if a ba---", Ashwhisker was interrupted by a loud wailing from the Warrior's den. Ashwhisker ran into the den, and saw Blackeye with a paw stuck in a hole in the ground. Ashwhisker dug a bigger hole, but got his paw stuck too. "HELP!!", he screeched.

Dawntail ran to the Warriors den, confused. "What happened?", she asked? "Is there anything down there?" She looked to see strange roots under the soil, tangled in them were Ashwhisker and Blackeye's paws. She didn't know what to do, If she tried to mess with the roots, her paws would get stuck also, and that would make matters worse. Dawntail looked for the medicine cat, Cinderbreeze.
Cinderbreeze looked up from her herbs. "Hello, Dawntail!", she welcomed. "I heard a screech, is everything alright?" Dawntail shook her head. "Not quite, there's a little problem in the Warriors Den, can you come and see?". Cinderbreeze nodded. "I'll help you." She followed Dawntail as the two quickly padded over to the Warriors Den. "What happened?", she asked Blackeye.

OOC: vlada5941 gave me permission for their paws to be tangled in the roots.

"I was cleaning myself, after eating some fresh-kill. I then started cleaning my hind leg, and the other one got in a hole in the soil. I then tried to pull it out, but it got stuck in the roots. Then, I screeched. Ashwhisker came to help me, tried to dig a bigger hole and got his paw stuck too.", Blackeye finished as he was running out of breath. "The roots are strong!", Ashwhisker added.

Cinderbreeze nodded, knowing what to do.
Dawntail watched as the medicine cat brought back a leaf and squeezed out the juice inside.
"Move your paws around.", she instructed Blackeye and Ashwhisker. "This juice will make everything slippery and your paws will eventually come loose."

Wolfstar had heard the screech and rushed off to the warrior's den, signaling to Cloverpaw with his tail that he was leaving her now. He had made his way there at the same time as Cinderbreeze, and also peered into the darkness of the den. The leader squinted as Cinderbreeze used the juice, hoping it would work.

Ashwhisker felt his paw get soggy, ad didn't like the feel of it. However, he kept himself from showing uncomfortableness. He started moving his paw around, and it got halfway out of the hole with roots. When he finally got his paw out, he started licking it and pulling the dirt off of his wet paw. "Thanks, Cinderbreeze.", he said. Blackpaw pulled her hind paw out, and started cleaning it too. "Thanks", she said to Cinderbreeze.

Cinderbreeze nodded and began padding back to her den.
"Good thing both of you are safe!", Dawntail said.

Age: 28 moons (2 1/3 Years)

Role: Leader
Mate: Spirit Eye
Personality: Cunning, wise, calm, dark. Very tactical. he uses great skill, his lithe and nimble body, and his strategic mind to make up for his lack of strength in battle.
Other (I put this in here for a bit more detail, I hope you don't mind): When Two-Star was young, he ate a lizard's hand and it's claws scratched his vocal cords. It eventually healed, but it made his voice unnaturally deep and it made many cats warry of him. Due to his slight lack of strength and his embarrassing defeat at the hands of a ThunderClan cat when he was young, He had his tail wrapped with sharp rocks, thorns, and lizard claws; a nasty surprise for any unsuspecting cat.

Personality: Aggressive, cunning, aimed.
Other: He was born unnaturally strong for a ShadowClan cat. Many assumed that he should have been born into ThunderClan, but he is loyal to his clan and wouldn't have it any other way. He was born with one eye strangely faded and gray, leading him to be named Spirit Eye.

Two-Star shakes the moss from his fur and pads up to the fresh kill pile and drops a frog and two lizards on the kill pile, which was quite small. He sighs and shakes his head, 'As always, it is my clan who must struggle to survive...' He notices his Deputy padding over with his kill and nods to him.

Spirit Eye nods to Two-Face and drops his kill onto the pile, "Hello Two-Star."
Two-Star sighs, "Hello Spirit."
Spirit Eye looks down at the kill pile and his tail flicks in agitation, "Your going to request more territory again aren't you?"
Two-Star nods, "I am. The clans have been at peace, but that is mainly do to OUR sacriface. I have had a long running policy of peace, but this has cost us much... We are doomed if we cannot convince the other clans that we need more land... but I fear we may not make it to the next gathering..."
Spirit Eye paws at the ground, "What are we going to do?"
Two-Star closes his eyes in deep thought. he sighs and opens his eyes, "I'm going to ask hunting permission in ThunderClan territory."
Spirit Eye shakes his head, "ThunderClan are privledged and judgemental. They will never let us hunt in their terrtory."
Two-Face sighs, "The ThunderClan leader seems a sensable sort. He might actually see it from our point of view."

OOC: I'm just gonna stick with Sweetleaf for now. I'm really getting into her character.

Sweetleaf padded into the nursery and curled up into her nest. She realized that it was a bit snug for just her. Eventually, I'll have to expand it. She thought excitedly. She began to allow her mind to wander, thinking of the small bundles curling up against her belly, of her pride as they strode forward to receive their mentors, and eventually, their warrior names. Sweetleaf got a warm feeling inside. She laid her head down to begin a short nap before the evening patrols.

OOC: Can I join? I've been on the lookout for a good Warriors RP for a while.

Dawntail padded over Wolfstar. "Wolfstar, have you chosen cats for the evening hunting patrol yet? I would like to go."

Blackeye and Ashwhisker walked up to Wolfstar and Dawntail. "We would like to go too!", Blackeye said. Ashwhisker said "Yeah, I really want some exercise. It was horrible having my paw stuck and being unable to move!", he said.

OoC: Thankies! Will work on some character sheets right away. Will add them to the post with my ThunderClan ones.

Wolfstar had been heading back to his den, but was stopped by Dawntail. "Ah, my deputy, you need not be so submissive. You're the one who organizes the patrols!" he purred, his eyes gleaming with amusement. He faced Blackeye and Ashwhisker as they approached, as well as Cloverpaw, who bounded over to them. "Yeah! Let me go! I wanna see ShadowClan! Are they as mean as they sound?" Cloverpaw asked innocently, wrinkling up her face as if imagining them there.

OCC: No one minds that they are both male right?

Two-Star sighs, "You have been training them for... the alternative, haven't you?"
Spirit Eye nods, "Yes. Every apprentice, elder, warrior, and queen have been taught the ways of battle... and assassination."
Two-Star, "Good. I am planning to avoid that, but if it comes down to it... we will play the bad guy that we must to secure the future of our clan."
Spirit Eye nods, "When will we head to the ThunderClan's camp?"
Two-Star, "Imediately. But first..." Two-Star looks up into the Eyes of his Deputy, "You must keep you temper in check. You are a VERY large cat. We don't want you ruining negotiations by putting them on the defensive."
Spirit Eye paws the ground, "I'll try my best..."
Two-Star, "Good. Now I must address the clan and we will be off." Two-Star walks up to the boulder wnd hops up onto it.
Spirit Eye nods and follows his leader, stopping beside the rock.
Two-Star clears his throat, "Spirit Eye and I are taking A trip to ThunderClan territory. I would give more detail, but we are in a hurry. We will be back shortly."
Two-Star jumps down and heads to the camp entrance, Spirit Eye trailing not far behind him.

"Dawntail! I would like to go!", Blackeye said. "Me too!", Ashwhisker mewed. "I want to hunt near the camp, something doesn't feel right", Blackeye said. Ashwhisker got an uneasy feeling. "Yeah", he mewed.

Other: Has known Ravenstar since the two were kits, has five kits now, (Fernkit, Mistkit, Falconkit, Robinkit, Pinekit) and plays a crucial role in making many of the big decisions for the clan

OOC: OMG! Sorry I haven't been on here. I will do my very best to go on here as much as possible, but I'm going to Boston for two weeks in July... and I probably won't have much time to get on here, however I'll try! And approved!

Dawntail bowed her head to her noble leader. "Thank you, Wolfstar!"
She went with the group of cats which were also assigned to be in the evening hunting patrol, and walked out of camp.

"Whee!" Cloverpaw squealed, and rushed after the evening patrol. Wolfstar's eyes gleamed in amusement, then he headed to the nursery to check in his mate. In his excitement, he trotted to that den, and got there quickly. "Sweetleaf?" he called softly, staring into the gloominess of the nursery.

Shadeflight warily tracked Twostar and Spiriteye as they left for ThunderClan territory. "Excuse me," she meowed smoothly, sliding up between the two toms. "May I come as well? The more the merrier, they say."

Dawntail led the patrol to the middle of the forest.
"I always catch lots of prey here!", she said. "Cloverpaw, try catching that vole over there!"
Dawntail spotted a rabbit and crept up on it...

Cloverpaw flicked her tail in acknowledgement and shifted into the hunter's crouch. She padded forward, mouth slightly open to catch the vole's scent. She scented it before she saw it, poking around a tree. Remaining completely still, and calculating her jump, the apprentice leaped, landing squarely on the vole. It didn't have time to cry out before Cloverpaw nipped its spine. She straightened up and glanced around for her mentor.

Spirit Eye grunts, "Your quite the nosy one. I don't remember asking you to join us. So go back to the camp and hunt. We already have a big enough shortage in kill as it is."

Two-Star sighs, "It's quite alright. I could use an extra, but shoving yourself between me and Spirit Eye is not okay. If you don't mind getting on my other side, I'd rather appreciate it."
