there are special characters where they only function int he toybox. so iuf you wnated a playset for-

mickey (fantasia)
phineas and agent p
vanellope and wreck it ralph
anna and elsa
jack skellington
or rapunzel, well too bad.

but there are special discs called "power discs" that unlock either power ups or toys in the toy box.

each character only has 2 moves, which can be changed. no upgrades or anything.

but in 2.0, it's about marvel. the toy box is improved, you have upgrades, and more than 2 moves.

4. a tru database leak.

I'm somewhat dissapointed by Maleficent after seeing her. It's clearly the Angelina Jolie live action one. I would've rather seen the classic, cartoon version.

It's rather clear by character choices Disney Infinity is just being used a cash cow to jump on whatever current fad's bandwagon to either promote the latest Disney movie or jsut sell figures as form of said movie's merchandise. Shame as it means some potentially good characters will get cheated out of figures.

i made custom princess leia and spider man figures using attactix and power discs.

All this game needs is more niche, obscure superheroes and it's a done deal for me.

1. Yes. the playsets are mainly "oh go beat up 10 people" or "oh go get me something", but they yield you new toy box toys and weapons. the toy box is where the fun happens. in the new game, You could have hawkeye vs merida and hulk drive a sportscar. or iron man and tinker bell flying side by side. MAJESTIC!

2. they toy box for 1.0 without any playsets gives you all sorts of logic and action toys, to make games and obstacles.

3. mike wazowski, agent p (from phineas and ferb), elsa (frozen) and violet (MOST POWERFUL CHARACTER IN THE GAME!)

and every character you buy for the first game works in 2.0, so your black widow can fight your jack sparrow.

1.0 starter contents: Jack Sparrow, Mr Incredible, Sulley, a random power disc, the pirates, konsters, and incredibles playsets, and a base.

2.0 starter contents: Iron Man, Black Widow, Thor, power discs that unlock dungeon crawler and tower defense toy box games, a base, and the avenges playset.

They could have easily done either style. It's just a matter of how her cheekbones are done, her make-up and a little styling of the dress and staff. It's just a simple matter of them trying to promote the new movie. This also makes chances of Aurora and/or Prince Phillip seem slim.

I really like how each character's base is unique.

If they add any gravity falls characters it would be a must get for me. Bill Cipher would be an awesome figure.

Its been hinted that there will be a Gravity Falls Play Set. In the gameplay from the event, you'll find a rug with Bill on it, Stan's chair with the skull next to it, and in the Wicked and Brave trailer, you'll find a skydome with the water tower in it. The Skydome may prove to just be a texture disc, but the furniture can pretty much confirm it. None of the Toy Box only characters give you furniture and stuff, but hey, you never know.

Also, minor confirmation of a separate Spider-Man Play Set. Notice how Venom's base is different from that of the Avengers. It's black. And notice this, confirmed so far is the Avengers Play Set. Pay attention to the wording there. AVENGERS. If Spider-Man and Venom were to belong to that Play Set, why would the name be based on the Avengers, which theyre not. If that were the case, you think it'd be called the Marvel Superheroes Play Set or something like that. And besides, if they AND the other Marvel related characters that Vault would be WAAYY too big.

According to this picture, amazing spiderman playset is real. So is Nick Fury, and Iron Fist. .

This article confirms green goblin is not playable. Nova and spider man come in the Playset.

^I would have guessed....Also, I love the fact that any Marvel related characters can go into the separate Marvel Themed Play Sets. Iron Man and Spidey teaming up in the Spider Man Play Set to battle the main enemies in that play set (symbiotes. Web of Shadows anyone?) And Thor and Nova in the Avengers Play Set! This is a total must-buy like right now....

Side note, doesn't Nova have (what Spidey calls his) Bucket Helmet? Or is this some other iteration of him? I havent watched an episode of Ultimate Spider Man in a while, so idk....
