It won't be hit by duty. At worst you pay the sales tax and Amazon collects that for you so it breezes thru customs. Shipping rates still suck, but they aren't THAT bad. I got mine in under a week.

Exept for that guy who said he saw them in Ontario no one in Canada and most people in the U.S. haven't seen the minis and the yawn traps are still yet to come we have been waiting for months now and with the new game around the corner I don't know what to do

Ebgames in Timmins is selling off the last of there swapforce dark edition for 20$, just picked up my copy last night, will be selling the game and portal, but dark spyro S3 alone goes for 15$ on ebay, just two charcters makes it worth it.

They also had alot of minis and a few random characters, no traps however

So I'm thinking stores are done with Trap Team now. Really doesnt seem like anything new. Just restocking of trap masters. I still have yet to ever see a cobra cadabra or a trail blazer. Not once. And it would be nice if the last two mini packs ever showed up here. Activisions just losing easy money at this point. And dont even get me started on the yawn traps

Yeah it's making me very very reluctant to get Super chargers when we've been screwed over on Trap team. It's one thing not being able to get all the variants with out importing but when you can't even get the base set they've really messed up.

If they are giving us the short stick now what's to say they won't do it again?

If a figure is $16 and a Vehicle is $19 (before tax) that's only $35. So you're paying an extra $10 just for some stupid trophy?

Thats kind of the position I'm in. I'm getting really tempted just to import the air and life minis because it doesn't seem like they're coming. I also need to order trail blazer and cobra cadabra seeing as how they were never restocked :S

Urg as much as I hate to admit it, the hard and fast reality of the increased price of the super chargers means that unless something changes for me in the very near future such as finally landing a full time job I'm going to have to give up on collecting them anymore.

It was a fun hobby while it lasted but I simply can't justify spending over $700 on it this time around :/

I'm very obsessive compulsive so generally speaking it's usually all or nothing for me. I was only able to rein in my amiibo spending from getting the entire smash set to only a handful of my favorites because some amiibo are so hard to get at mrsp that it basically forced me to give up on them.

And honestly none of the Super chargers have stood out to me so far.

I used to be like that except it was a Reptile collection about 6 years ago, but the minute i found another hobby it went away (cough Tinder cough, yes it is that easy and of course the iron jungle )
for space, why not build a dresser thats 2' deep' 3' wide and 5' high, make the cabinets just a few inches higher then the figures and voi la, just sort them the way you want, it's a good project to keep yourself busy as well.

On a side note, this is an auction I just won ( won 3 of them for same price) goes to show if you look in the right corner, you can save, remember to ask about shipping, some will found a cheaper method or they can combine it, but with this figure averaging at 30$ not including shipping, you can see I saved.
Hope this opens the mind of those who are against auctions. ( All auctions I win never go over my max, guess not enough people want to try)

Will there be more Trail Blazers? I can't find this majestic pony anywhere that isn't => 20 bucks

I'm also still trying to find trail blazer and regular cobra cadabra as well :S I've given up the idea of ever finishing the trap collection (yawn traps seem highly unlikely now, and the only other trap I'm missing is the undead snake trap which is going for $60+ online). Still hoping we may see the minis though, but that hope is dying too

The fact they didn't supply some figures at all is a big part of what I feel like giving up. That and some of the ones that they did supply where so scarce in our country some people couldn't get one.

I can't help but feel like next time around we'll be neglected even more, especially with Target gone and Walmart having shrunk there skylander section to the point it might as well not exist anymore.

The worst part is, Activision doesn't care. Their support either won't answer you if you ask about it or just blaim the problem of no supply on the retailers only to ignore you when you point on that even those same retailers don't know why those figures are missing. Heck I even tried to contact Toys for Bob directly but good luck getting a phone number for them that actually works and doesn't lead to a pax machine.

Yeah, it's clear they are a video game company that makes toys, as opposed to a toy company making a video game. Although, I've never had to call a toy company...but I do agree customer service continues to be a neglectful piece of their business. The only thing I can honestly say they've done GOOD is defective toy replacement. But as to figure availability...they'll never be able to answer that.

I wish, but Canada doesn't get those since they treat us as second class due to our lower dollar :/

I guess the best deal would be EB with the 30% extra trade credit. Better than nothing I suppose :/

How did everyone's launch day go?

Grabbed the WiiU Dark Starter pack from EB, got a free promo comic (showing how DK and Bowser end up as Skylanders)
No stock on the floor at Best Buy. Had to ask someone to look for Smash Hit in the back, but I got him.

No sign of Nitro Stealth Stinger or the 2-packs. The Sea Racing Pack was $45, which is super pricey considering back in the day the adventure packs were $20-25. Will save that for another day.

Overall there was stock aplenty at EB and Wal-Mart, and unlike prior years I didn't see any Day 1 collectors stocking up their cart. Low key, all things considered.

Got Stromblade & Dive Clops. That's it. Was expecting a few more characters. Hopefully more will be released this or next week.
Skipped the Starter Pack. I learned from last year. They go on sale/price drops too quickly. I can be patient.


BUT, I found a bunch of S1 Skylanders at Dollarama! Was surprised. Nothing exciting like Boomer or anyone though.

I just got back from my TRU and they didn't have any wave 2 stuff.

Legendary Sky Racing Packs will be available on October 2th. Some stores in Ontario and Quebec have them right now but are not selling before that date.

Makes more sense than Oct.1 because TRU new flyer starts Friday!

Was in EB today in Milton ON, and the clerk said Double Packs were listed as Oct 12 in his system.

Also TRU is offering a $15 gift card for any purchase of a Superchargers starter pack.

According to my TRU, all stores are getting the shipment tomorrow due to the recall of NightFall. There was an internal memo, and they had signs up at several stores saying NightFall won't be available "until further notice"

Managed to find Smash Hit and High Volt, no racing pack and of course Nightfall was delayed.

I wonder if the Stealth Stinger and Burn Cycle will go to another retailer first like EB?

Legendary Racing packs arrived at TRU...nothing else! This is frustrating, just gladiator close enough to the border! It's about time Skylanders starts having definitive release dates like every other toys to life!

Got Smash and Volt today....BUT took me forever to find good ones. Terrible residue and paint. Some of the worst I've ever seen.

I noticed that the quality of the figures in this game have dropped drastically, even the Legendary Pack has horrible paint jobs.
