I want to explore modern cartoons in the style of The Golden Era/ The Renaissance Era of Animation.
Gumball in particular has very limited animation. Now it needs color.

Just a quick thing of the coloring. Background is green so I can see holes easier. Unsure of Mikey's (black hair) mouth tho. I kept trying like, embarrassed faces but it looks more like he's like calling him a Baka?????? Is Mikey a weeaboo
I welcome critique. I'm still unsure how to match his eyebrows, eyes, and mouth to give off the embarrassed expression

A Tiger/Dragon mix that I created last night.




A little description;

Deep within the Jungle, live the Draggers.

The Dragers aren't very big, and their wings can only get them off the ground, but they lack in size, they make for in patience. They hide in the the trees to disguise themselves and wait for the perfect moment to strike... Once females have mated, they will go off and search for a place to make a den. Their mates will visit with food, but because females tend to be really aggressive during this time period, males don't really stay around. Males usually stop visiting shortly after the eggs hatch.

Once the eggs hatch the mother must keep them safe and fed. When the female goes out to hunt, she covers up the entrance of her den with rocks to keep predators out. When Dragger chicks are old enough they go with their mother to hunt. From here it is the mother's duty to teach her chicks how to hunt. After about a year of living with their mom, the chicks are now grown and are ready to start families of their own.

Draggers can only live up too 20 years; they don't mate for life.

I got 2 recent works, 1 is a gif image, but don't worry there's no flashing lights or anything fast and bright.

Firstly, Jangmo-o fanart. I love the little dragon. He has a heart shaped scale and he's the pokemon that is determined to get good. A heart of gold and bold pokemon if you will.


Next is the gif image, which was based a rpg mood I got from another friend who was doing rpg pixel art. You know how those urges work, they start with 1 person and inspire another. So I did one where you meet Bane who is pretty much a culturally confused lost pet dog who is a goat. I am aware that 1 frame makes the line on his head smaller or non existent. I just don't know which frame it is and I may update it later.

The entire snout, teeth and all, looks really good.

I got a drawing tablet pretty recently, and finally got around to trying it out. I'm working on making my lines less shaky, and I think I've made good progress from where I was. I kinda gave up once I got to the body tbh
