Why can't people just accept loss as loss and move on? That's what my family did every time their candidate didn't won. They accepted it and went about with their lives. The never *****ed about it or anything.

Oh my god, I hear this everyday everywhere, mainly on school. And I bet most people don't know any bit about politics. I don't know either, but I keep myself quiet because of that.

I try to watch to be able to filter and judge, but most people just want a single action to pretend they're active and informed. Does impeaching Rouseff look like a good plan? Protest. Are things looking shady in the senate? That's too hard to act upon. Someone said 'remove Temer'? Get your ass off the couch and protest again, that's totally going to help *now* that everything's screwed and emergency elections are still being prepared.

Yeah uni do another strike because the president exists sure he'll listen. It's sad because so many unis did strikes earlier the year with excuses of cutting funds and miscommunication and then you went to the actual meetings and it's 100% "we're too lazy to go to protest in the right places so we'll just prevent people from having classes and do nothing". They took the strike as seriously as you'd think, and that's why we're still having classes in the middle of December.

I want to only inform myself when I get older. I mean, political stuff is just useless stress in my age. I can't vote, and protests do a bunch of nothing, so...

I'm still having classes only because the school is ruled by a bunch of... I don't want to use the word but I'm gonna use it. A bunch of idiots. I mean, horrible administration at it's finest. Fortunately, tomorrow's the last day left... Unless I don't get immediately approved on something... Which I'm pretty sure it will happen.

I have a bit of a problem. Christmas is less than two weeks away, and I still feel like I can't get into the Christmas spirit. I watched the movies and I've decorated, but I just feel like normal days are going by and there just happen to be trees up everywhere. I just can't get as excited as I used to. I know my signature seems to beg to differ, but it doesn't really describe how I feel right now. I don't know what to do to really get me excited like before.

Mmm ... I started feeling that way a few years ago myself. I've never been excited like I was before, so maybe you never will be like that again. I don't know, and it sucks.
But, we've been driving around looking at lights pretty much every night and that still managed to get me excited. It's so lovely seeing how everyone has decorated their house. Maybe, if you haven't tried this already, you could go out and look at lights too?
