"You're nervous? Why?" Jay asks, looking at his body language.

Xander looks at her in surprise.

Sachi smiles.
"Xander loses his cool around his crushes." She laughs.

OOC: Sachi? Wrong name

"Ahh" Jay said "Don't worry, just be normal Xander"

OOC: that's the right name. It's Sachi.

Xander smiles.
"Easier said than done."

OOC:... I thought Sachi was a girl though? Soooooo confused.

"At least try" Jay said with a smile.

OOC: She is. My iPod made a typo. Grrrrr.

Xander smiles.
"I'll try."

OOC: oh

"Good" Jay said with a smile "Maybe it would help if I was in wolf form?" Jay suggested morphing to her wolf form.

OOC: yeah what I just said: "thanks for nothing, you stupid iPod."

Xander smiled.
"It helps a little, but I feel odd talking to a wolf while I'm human." He says. He morphs to his fox form.

OOC:

"Better?" Jay asks padding in a circle before laying down.

Xander nods and smiles, laying down beside her. His bandana around his neck covering his muzzle a bit.

Jay looked up to the sky, unable to see anything, but it was instinct. "When I was younger, my father would tell me stories of the night creatures that would lurk in the forests near our home. He would tell of the stars in the sky. I, for one, have never seen a star. I have never wished upon a star" Jay said, looking to Xander. "Have you ever seen a star?"

"I'm not Aussie. And me? How am I scary?" Torru shrugged.

Suddenly a dark figure appeared around Shadoow' s hut.

"Sure, and to others, Jake and Sachi, you were quite frightening." Jay barked to Torru.

"Serious?" Torru chuckled. He nodded slowly.

"Yeah, but I haven't heard any girlish shrieks coming from Jake... So I guess that's good" Jay said, getting up.

The dark figured entered the hut, after a few seconds you could here a scream, Shadow came r Uhhh inning out of his hut screaming for help.

Torru looked around. He heard the scream. He raised his coat over him, and a moment later he vanished, teleporting to Shadow's destination.

Shadow tripped and fell, The dark figure came closer.

Torru switched form. He leapt onto the figure, then he held it with his huge paws.
"State your business 'ere!" He hissed.

The mysterious man easily knocked Torru off him.

Xander got his paws.
"I was able to see them as a pup, but my eyesight isn't as good as it used to be." he said, shrugging.

Sachi giggled softly.
"We're keeping each other strong so neither of us gets scared." she says.

"We're they beautiful like my father said?" Jay asked with a sparkle in her eye.

Xander smiled and nodded.
"They're very beautiful."

Jay's eyes lit up. "You're ever so lucky. I've always thought that stars were myths until a few years ago" Jay said with a sigh

Xander smiled.
"Someday I'll find a way to help you see them."

jay looked at Xander "Really?" She asked, happiness in her voice.

Xander nodded.
"I'll find a way, I promise."

"Thank you!" Jay said giving Xander a hug with her muzzle.

Xander smiled.
"I believe we should start with asking Jayce. She was able to get herself to hear." he said.

Jay nods as she bounces a little.

Serge shakes his head.
"Jayce is like a miniature scientist and to sum it up, she never sees the limits to things."

Jay sighs. "Did you have to use the word see?"

Serge shrugs.
"Sorry."

Xander glares at Serge.
"And Serge, don't talk that way about my cousin."

"Calm, no fights" Jay barked to herself.

Xander looked at Jay an his ears lowered.
"Sorry."

Jay nodded "It's fine" She said sitting as she looked up to the sky.

Xander sat beside her.

Sachi sits down and sighs.
"If we want to get to Jayce, it will take a few days. Xander, aren't you supposed to fully blind in three more days?" She asks.

Xander nods sadly.
"On my birthday."

Jay turns her head "That's horrid" She said, sympathy in her voice.

Xander shakes his head.
"It doesn't matter. All I care about right now is making it so you are able to see, Jay."

"I would rather you be able to see. Remember, I always put others in front of me." Jay said

Xander laughs.
"Well there's nothin we can do to help my vision."

"Really now? And why is that?" Jay asked, puzzled.

Xander looked at her.
"In three days I go blind. It'll take five days to get to where Jayce stays."

"But when we get to Jayce's place, can't she help you?" Jay asks

Xander shrugged.
"Maybe. Most likely yes, but I couldn't say for sure."

"Then, if possible, I would rather you be able to see." Jay said morphing back to human form.

Xander shakes his head.
"How about we both be able to see. Deal?" he says with a smile.

Jay rolled her eyes. "Deal" Jay said with a smile.

Xander smiled and nodded happily.
"Good."

Serge looks up to see it getting dark.
"We should get rest and head out tomorrow."

Xander nods in agreement and lays down with his back against a tree.

Sachi sits down and falls asleep slowly on the soft grass, her head resting on her arm.

Serge climbs a tree and falls asleep on the branch.
