Kargolo flicked his wings anxiously about Tilly. He nodded at Asuna and Lila. He pulled a few grains of sand from his feathers.

"Wait a minute." Lila said. "I think that somewhere near the mountains, there's a place called the winter bearrics where we could go as well. Either way, it'll be colder."

Matilda weakly nods.
"That's my hometown."

"Then let's go." Scott said, staying close to Matilda and letting Lila take the lead.

Matilda leans against Scott.

Kargolo trotted along behind them.

OOC: Even though I said I'd be leaving once I got to yellow, I want to keep this RP going. I'll try to be on when I can or until you guys feel like it's died out. Just let me know if anything changes, okay?

Lila loved the fact that she could keep up with the others again, and felt like running about with glee, but didn't want to leave the others behind or injure her leg again. "We should be to the bearrics in about a day's journey." Lila said. "We don't have any time to waste."

Scott nodded agreement, but he hoped that Matilda could make it that long. Her condition seemed to be deteriorating, and she was constantly leaning on him for support. The last part he didn't mind so much, but it worried him. Even so, he wasn't about to give up on her.

"Oh, please!" Kargolo hawked, "If I carry her on my back, we can go twice as fast, we'd be there in at least six hours!" He may have sounded impatient, but he was just worried and anxious about Matilda.

OOC: YAY I'M SO HAPPY THAT YOU ARE STAYING, AMAZINGSPYRO!!!!

Matilda's legs gave out from under her and she crumpled. Her breathing was weak and slow.

OOC: Yay

Kona bounced around.

"Right! That is it! She's coming with me!" Kargolo grabbed for Matilda.

"Kargolo, stop!" Scott yelled, putting himself between Kargolo and Matilda. "Look, I know you're worried about her, and I am too, but you're not helping. You have to calm down, or one of us is going to get hurt."

Lila whirled around at hearing Kargolo and Scott's outbursts. "Here we go." She thought.

Matilda looked at Scott weakly with her wide violet eyes.
"You should just let me die. I'm just slowing you all down."

OOC: AmazingSpyro, you better be on tomorrow so I can wish u a happy birthday.

OOC: Screw all my characters except Kona. Goldfur and Apple are around, though...


I made up these lions and I'm obsessed with them so I make one

Appearance (Description or picture): Polar Lions are big, white lions with strong muscles. Males have white manes.
Other/Extra: He lives in the Winter Bearrics

Kargolo bowed his neck. He stood on his hind legs, flapped his wungs and screeched at Scott.
"The only reason we're here is for you, Matilda. Please let me help."

Matilda shakes her head.
"Just let me die. Leave me here."

Pingo jumped around the Winter Bearrics, searching for his next meal. He squinted into the sleet and snow. He noticed an Winter Buffalo. Pingo quietly stalked his prey.

"Why?! You need help!" Kargolo cried.

"Because I'm only slowing you down!" Matilda barked. "You guys could travel farther without me!"

Pingo stalked down the snowy hill. The wind was blowing away towards him, so the Winter Buffalo couldn't smell him. Pingo started to run. He got close and leaped. He sunk his long white claws in the buffalo. It whirled around and snorted at him forcefully.

"Matilda, that's not an option." Scott said calmly. "We're not going to leave you here to die."

Matilda looks up at Scott with wide violet eyes.
"Why Scott? Why do you care so much about me when I'm so useless? What have I done to help you? I have only hurt." she whines softly.

"Listen to me." Scott said. "Whatever you might think of yourself, everyone here cares about you for who you are, and so do I. I know Alyx and Delgato did too. You're part of our family now, whether you like it or not, and you don't give up on family. Not now, not ever." He paused for a moment to let it sink in, and then continued, "The thing is, Matilda, you complete me. Whether you know it or not, every day of my life has been better since I've met you. Sure, we've beaten each other up a couple of times, you tried to kill Alyx, I broke your foot, but we always forgive each other in some way or another. Sure, we can be broken, bruised, and battered, but we can be mended. We mend each other."

Lila stood there, stunned. She'd never heard Scott pour his thoughts out like that before.

"So," Scott said. "Are you going to be able to get up, or do we need to carry you?"

Pingo's heart was pounding, but he looked it in the face. He quickly darted to the Winter Buffalo's flank. He slashed his long claws down. Then, Pingo jumped on the Buffalo's back, a trick Polar Lions often use. He tried to bite it's neck, but the buffalo was too strong. It shook Pingo off, and kicked him. Pingo raced off, his flank aching.

Matilda smiles softly.
"Scott...That's so sweet. I never thought that's how you felt." She struggles to get to her paws. "I'll walk. Right beside you." She says happily. "You're such a nice guy."

"Thanks." Scott said. "Come on, let's keep going."

Matilda smiles as she leans against Scott.
"You complete me too, Scott."

OOC: I can't be on till Sunday because we have no internet at my house.

OOC: OK, but I've got an idea for if she stops walking/faints/etc.

Kargolo grinned. Slowly, he walked beside Matilda and Scott. Then he sped into a gallop, and shortly he was in the air, flying to the Winter Bearrics.
"If something happens, I've gotta bring the cold to her. Scrabble! I've got it! I can flap my wings and whip up a storm full of cold air!" Kargolo told himself.

OOC: I got some wireless!!!! That sounds like a good idea, Fan of Skylands!

Scott smiled. "That's a great idea, Kargolo!" He called. "Bring the cold to us!"

Matilda smiled as she leans against Scott.

Kargolo didn't know he was being listened to by Scott. His eyes shone.
"Knew it was a good idea. Let's give it a shot!" Kargolo planted himself on a lone tree, and he picked up speed. His wings were a blur of feathers and dust flicked through the air.

"You can do it, Kargolo!" Lila called. "Bring on the cold!"

Matilda's fur was ruffled by the winds.

"Let's not stop now," Scott said. "we need to get to the bearrics as soon as possible."

"Did that help at all?" Kargolo asked, dazed. He walked about and his legs crossed over and he fell to the floor. He sure was dizzy!

Matilda nodded.
"I feel a lot better. Thanks Kargolo."

"Thanks, Kargolo." Scott said. "We should go a little farther, but then we need to find a place to sleep."

"This is a desert, am I right?" Kargolo beamed. "Deserts are colder at night. A lot colder."

Akito nods.
"There's a cave ahead."

Matilda smiles.

"Let's stop there, then." Scott said.

Matilda trots ahead.
"Let's go!" She says. She seems to be a bit more energetic.

"All right, then." Scott said, following Matilda.

Lila, however, waited outside. She decided to go hunt, now that her leg was out of the splint. She took off, hoping to find some prey nearby.

Matilda trotted beside Scott,

Asuna smiles at Lila.
"Want to go hunting?" she asks.

"Of course, Asuna!" Lila said. "What should we hunt?"

Asuna smiles.
"Buffalo fine?"

"Sure!" Lila said. "Let's go find one."

Asuna nods and smiles
"Alright."

Kargolo sat on a tree above the cave. There he could keep lookout.
"I just hope we can get her there on time..." He told himself.

Pingo plopped down in the snow.
