"dark? Im too weak to move. What do I do? " Yugi said panicking

Brutus tried to mumble something back. For once in his life, he felt like he couldn't move.

"I guess I should" Shadow went to check on Alyx.

Dark shook his head.
"I can't do anything. I could carry you I guess." he said.

Alyx laid in bed looking up at the ceiling. She noticed movement out of the corner of her eye and turned to see Shadow.
"Hey." she said weakly.

Sango helped Brutus to his feet.
"You should get back to bed." she said.

Shana shook her head.
"And I thought Shadow was the zombie." she said.

Brutus got up with Sango's help. He leaned against the wall for support. "No... I'm good." He managed to say.

"You don't look fine." said Sango.

Shana nodded in agreement.

"Hey, you okay?" Shadow asked

Marik looked at Twilight and whispered
"Go away" the whisper said as he fainted

Yugi agreed to Darks idea

Alyx shook her head.
"My side hurts a lot. But I'm recovering. I'm quite pained." she said.

Dark carried Yugi to where Marik was.

Twilight backed up.

Brutus stood up straight, putting in all his effort. "Really, I am fine." He groaned.

Sango shook her head.
"You're not fine. I can tell." she said.

"Just let her help you. Even I can see you're not well, and I'm only ten!" said Shana.

"Rest assured, ladies, I need no help." Brutus began to walk, no intentions of doing anything.

Shana shook her head.
"He's gonna collapse. I can tell." she said.

"Well I'm glad you're recovering" Shadow said smiling slightly.

Alyx smiled back.
"Thanks for checking on me. My cousin asked you, didn't he?" she asked weakly.

Brutus walked further, trying his best to look completely normal. He staggered a little bit, but other than that he was fine.

Sango sighed.
"I hope he's alright. Honestly, it's obvious that he's not alright." she said.

"He's sleep deprived. Must not be used to our natural chaos." said Shana with a shake of her head.

"Yeah...He did" Shadow said with a nod

"That's nice of him. And it's nice of you to check on me. Tell my cousin that I'm recovering. Slowly." said Alyx with a sigh.

"Okay" Shadow started to walk back to Dark.

"You ready to go?" asked Dark as Sango came walking back with Shana.

Shadow noticed Dark quickly walked over to him "She said she's recovering slowly" Shadow said

Dark sighed.
"She always was the slowest in recovery. Anyway, let's go on patrol. Thanks for checking in on her for me." he said.

"No problem" Shadow said with a quick nod

"Let's go!" called Shana.

" Are we ready?" Shadow asked.

Dark nodded.
"Yep. Apparently Shana is gonna join us." he said.

"Okay" Shadow said

Brutus saw Dark, Sango, Shana and Shadow. He wondered what they were doing.

Dark led the three to the forest path, where they would split up and patrol.
"I'll go with Sango. Do you mind going with Shana?" he asked Shadow.

" Not at all" Shadow said.

"Then let's go!" said Shana happily. She grabbed Shadow's wrist and tugged him down the path. Her hands were warm, but not quite burning.

Dark smiled and turned to Sango.
"Let's go too." he said.

"Don't start thinking you are any better than your cousin. You are both at the same level of stupidity." said Sango, but even she was smiling.

"Have you done this before?" Shadow asked Shana.

"Yep! Plenty of times! It's easy! All we do is patrol this half of the path and if we run into any harmful creatures, we get rid of them!" said Shana cheerfully.

" Sounds fun!" Shadow said in a weird tone.

Shana smiled at Shadow's tone.
"You get used to it." she said. She then stopped, hearing a noise. Her hands lit with flames.
"Two Scarfires and three Snaggleclaws. This is madness. None of them are enchanted but still, so many." she whispered to Shadow. She turned to look at him. "Get Sango and my cousin. I'll hold them off." she said, taking off before Shadow could reply. "I'll be fine!" she called.

"Oh no" Shadow said shaking his head. He then ran off "DARK, SANGO" He shouted as loud as he could.

Dark stopped dead in his tracks and turned to see Shadow running to him.
"What's up?" he asked.

Sango was worried.

" Three Snaggleclaws.....Two Scarfires" Shadow said

"Where's Shana?!" said Dark in worry.

"Follow me" Shadow said as he dashed down the path.

Dark and Sango exchanged a look before following.

"There she is" Shadow pointed to where Shana was.

Shana had collapsed on the ground. She was covered in wounds, but she still managed to stand. Her hands blazed with flames.

A Snaggleclaw leapt and tackled Shana.

Dark morphed into cat form and leapt at the Snaggleclaw.

Sango drew her shadow blades.

Shadow morphed into his Wolf form and circled a Snaggleclaw.

Sango hurled a blade at a Scarfire.

The Snaggleclaw snarled and smacked Dark, giving Shana time to get away.

The other Snaggleclaw attacked Shadow.

The third Snaggleclaw lay dead, killed by Shana before the others had come.

"Uhhhg" Shadow was hurt, but attacked again

The Snaggleclaw tumbled with Shadow.

Shana lay panting on the ground.

Sango took out the Scarfire.

Dark tumbled with the other Snaggleclaw.

"Uhg" Shadow grunted

Shana struggled to her feet and leapt onto the back of the Snaggleclaw pinning Shadow down.

The Snaggleclaw frantically tried to shake Shana off.

Sango finished the Scarfire off and ran to help Dark.
