Aretis twitched slightly. Hmm...well, his father was a leader...but he never really learned that kinda stuff....but whatever. Now's not the time. He nodded and tried to act as military as he could. "Ehrm....thank you....miss....uh...Lucina. Umm....I want you to uh....protect the baby dragon and the light dragon over there. Guide them to a safe place. And while you're at it, try to spot a cave we can better hold the army off." He said, starting out kinda awkwardly.

"Yes Sir!" Lucina said, turning on her heals and marching over to Starz and the baby. "Miss, the Officer requests I watch over you and the hatchling. Come with me please ma'am!"

Ria watched Lucina as she replied to Starz. "Er, I guess you have to look after the baby and Lucina is gunna look after you?"

Aretis blinked. "Ria, if the going gets rough, get going. I don't want to see you hurt. Don't die either. Lucien would probably kill me." He shrugged and then nodded. "Well, let's go!" And flew up without another word.

Ria rolled her eyes as Aretis took off. "Like I'm gunna let myself die. Cuz then Lucien'll kill Aretis, then Starz'll kill Lucien, and then Starz'll be stuck here with the baby."

Ria turned to look at Starz. "Go with, er...Lucina? I gotta go find Casia and Skyer. I'll bring them back here, they can stay with you and the baby."

Aretis put on his light armor and then rushed to meet the enemy.

The dragon that had spoken to Lucien saw Aretis and narrowed its eyes. "As I told your friend, give up the children that you took from us, and we won't hurt your silly girlfriends." it hissed.

"Okay, too things. First, I have a mate already. They're not girlfriends. Second of all, you have no idea who you're dealing with!" He growled.

"I meant girlfriends of you and him." it said, pointing to Lucien. "Wait, why does this even matter.... Anyways, those children rightfully belong to us! Didn't you see how the one acts like a soldier? We've had her from birth. She knows nothing else. We've been working on this army for centuries now, Aretis the Keeper. It is YOU that has no idea who you're dealing with."

"Hmph well, it looks like your 'army' is about to be disbanded. There's no way I'll give them up now. In fact I'm considering very highly to purify more of your troops. You won't enslave anymore light dragons!" Aretis roared back.

The dragon grinned wickedly. "You cannot purify them. The darkness has been planted in their brain since birth. You can chase the darkness off, but it will come back at the time most inconvenient..."

"You're wrong. Nothing is impossible, and it will happen whether you like it or not." He said in a very determined tone.

"Good luck trying young one. There are thousands of us, it doesn't matter how many you try to save, there will be two more to take their place, and another to bring them back."

"I said I was considering it." Aretis pointed out. "I have no problem with killing, even if it's dragons that share an element with me."

"So you have a bit of a dark side yourself then." it said with a wicked grin. "Willing to kill innocent dragons for your own selfish needs."

"Do you think I'm one of them? Do you think I'm a Hero? I'm not. I'm not bound to what they are bound to do. I am a Keeper. I fight for what I have to protect, no matter the cost. And I'd hardly say these dragons are...innocent." He growled.

"So you say that the child down there with your mate," the dragon said, pointing. "Has no innocence?"

"I know what you're planning for them. I won't let it happen." Aretis simply replied.

"Avoiding the question, how sad." the dragon sighed. "Well, so be it. You've chosen your fate I see." And with that it flew back up into the crowd of dragons.

"No....it's just my answer." Aretis flew up to meet the army on their level.

Lucina tilted her head to look at Starz. "He is a male dragon of light who is older than I, that makes him my superior." she said.

ooc: Where's SD when you need him....

OOC: he's going to be on less during summer, he made an announcement about that somewhere

Lucina gave a small, short nod.

Aretis called down. "Hey you guys! Find a cave quickly!"

Lucina dashed after Starz, looking up at the sky every few steps. The baby bounced up and down on Starz's back as she ran, a squiggly grin climbing her face.

ooc: if you read the comment above and the past ones, I believe it's a girl.

Lucina pulled ahead of Starz. "Allow me to check through the cave first, I must ensure your safety."

Lucina dashed in and blasted a shot of light inside. A few bats screeched in terror and flew to the back of the cave. "Clear!" she said, stepping aside so Starz could go in.

The baby dragon cooed and giggled, looking around. Lucina walked in, and the baby stared at her with her curious blue eyes.

Suddenly the baby had a look of realization, and she grinned.

"Lucy, Lucy, Lucy!" she giggled, reaching her little claws out to Lucina.

Aretis smiled. Good.

Lucina's expression softened as she gazed at the hatchling. "She's...she's my baby sister."

Lucien was quit because he was afraid of saying something stupid, its happened before, "Hm... hm, hm, ha." he began to laugh, "Huh, heew." he stopped, but with a grin, "How many golden gods have any of you met, why does everyone think I'm week? Look at me." the glow of light pulsed as a wave of energy flurished from him, the looked up to the army, "Aretis was right to warn you, but my warning is this and you better believe it. I am not one to be played with." he stopped flapping but still rose higher to be next to Aretis, the glow dimmed to conserve his stored energy.

Skyer looked back down to Casia, "Think we should help this time?" he grinned, "Cause it worked soo well last time," he joked knowing it wasn't too funny. It was more in the way he said it.

"Lucien, this isn't just a few dragons we're facing here. This is an army. An ARMY! Get it? We are hilariously outmatched and outgunned in this fight. I don't care how strong you are, you will die, facing these guys head on, you hear me?" Aretis growled. "Get in the cave." He said. "Everyone. In the cave. NOW." He roared.

You will, Starz. We need everyone in that cave. That cave is small so their large numbers wouldn't be able to flank us. We fight in the cave it will reduce the number of dragons that can come after us in such a tight space. Just hang on a little longer so I can stall long enough for everyone else to get in the cave. Oh, and it would probably be best if you protected the little one and her sister. Make a shield. Quickly. He sent his message back.

Casia giggled a bit at Skyers joke, snorting a bit. She blushed at her snort, then stuttered out a reply. "Um, s-sure! Sounds like fun!"

Ria frowned at Aretis. "Don't you tell me what to do!"

The shadow dragons let out a screech all together, and slowly began to descend through the sky.

Ria shuddered. "O-okay, I'll listen to you just this once!" she squeaked, running to the cave.

Lucina looked fondly at her baby sister. "I haven't seen you since the day you were born..." she murmured. "Turns out the whole time we were fighting side by side..."

Aretis sighed and then took Lucien by one of his neck spikes and dragged him into the cave as well. "Come on mister big guy. You'll get your chance." He muttered and dragged them all into the cave. Aretis growled. "Is everyone in?"
