You're invincible when you respawn as long as you're on the platform. How'd he camp you?

On my team. On Saltspray there's an area that you'll always have and my teammate stood there all game.

Oh ok. I thought he was an enemy, and i was confused how he even got to your spawn.

For maps with a large control area such as saltspray rig, I try to get to the back of the map as soon as possible to secure that large area. For maps such as Urchin Underpass, I try to cover my side of the map then try to get to the opposing team's side of the map via the side entrance.

Depends on the weapon I am using at the moment. More often than not it's to cover up large areas near our area since many people will choose to spray a path going forward and just move to the center of the map. With a roller I like to do a grid sort of pattern. With Slosher or Luna Blaster I move side to side to cover large areas. And other weapons like N-ZAP I just cover what I can.

Rig, and that mall place, and Flounder heights(?). Sorry I'm not that good at the names </3 My least favorite map is definitely the skate park one though.

It's not a good idea to ink the spawn first. You can always ink it if you die and you're wasting precious seconds that can get you an early advantage of going to the middle of the map first.

That was 3 in the morning me. Now I rush in, get what I can, then when I die, I cover spawn.
