'That i...er....' Nightfire then got a black aura.
'That he thinks he likes you more than love!' Nightfire lost his glow.
'And thank you Zenith!'

Starfire started to glow purple.

'Listen... I know i shouldnt have thought that..... i know it was wrong... and i know, why are you glowing purp'e again?'

Starfire looked away.
"i glow when i feel a very strong emotion......and when i glow purple....the feeling is love....."

'So... your ok... with what i felt?'

"i think the fact that i'm glowing, means yes....." she said. then she looked at him. "as an empath, i can control my emotions.....but love...is the one emotion that an empath can't control at all....."

'But i though you'd...'

"what?"

'Over react to what i meant....'

"i don't normally over react that much....i can control my emotions if i tried hard enough....my mom is more emotional then i am...." she said. she was still glowing. "love is the onlt emotion i can't control.....thats why i'm still glowing..."

'But... did you know what Zenith meant when he blabbed?'

Starfire thought for a moment. she wasn't exactly sure what he meant.
"i'm not 100% certain...."

'Well........ he meant......... i love you dearly..... and still do..... but..... i wanted more.....'

Star's eyes changed to a purple color. they wern't glowing, they just changed color. Star looked away, hoping he wouldn't notice.

'Starfire...'

"yeah?"

i have to go, bye.

'Dont hide things from me.......'

Star looked at him, showing her purple eyes.

Nightfire didnt say anything.

Starfire looked away.

Nightfire remained silent, he didnt know what to say.

Star layed down. she closed her eyes, to hide the fact that they were purple.

Nightfire still couldnt think what to say.

Star used ice, and made a small puddle of ice on the ground. she looked to see that her eyes were still purple.

'Why are you trying to hide your eyes?'

Star looked away.
"because.....they're purple....they're suppose to be blue...."

'Meaning?'

"i'm not sure......if my eyes were glowing, that would mean that i'm feeling a strong emotion.....but they're not.....they're just purple..."

'Well.... your glowing... so it doesnt matter'

"yeah....but my eyes are suppose to glow the same color..." she said. then her purple color got lighter. she stopped glowing. "great....the wierdness continues...."

'Your not weird....'

"i am at the moment.....my empath powers arn't even normal right now...."

'Your not like other empaths.....

"well, no......but at least then my powers were the same....now they're wierd....i don't know whats going on...."

'I didnt understand something about myself before'

Star closed her eyes, and tried to control her powers, but nothing happened. she then tried to make herself glow, but nothing happened. she was light purple, with purple eyes. "dang it! nothings working! i can't control my powers!"

'They dont control you'

"well, apparently, i don't control them either!" she said, getting upset. her purple color started to look red.

'Hey... Its alright'

Star closed her eyes. she then returned to normal. she opened her eyes, and looked at the ice. her eyes were blue again.
"ok......what just happened?"

'I dont know....... but dont worry about it.....'

"i'm still a little confused.....my powers arn't normal right now..."

'Well, not everything is normal at the minute.....'

Star looked at the ice. the ice then melted.
"ok.....that was wierd....."

Nightfire was also confused.

Star then looked at a rock, and it disappeared.
"that was freaky.....what is going on with my powers?"

'I dont know Star'

Star got up.
"i don't know either....but i'm going to find out...." she said. she thought about going to the library, and then, a book appeared in front of her. she looked at it. "i wish wierd stuff would stop happening...." she said. then she read the title. " 'strange powers' well...it might be helpfull..."

Nightfire lay beside her. *if this is you doing this Zenith, im gonna make you a body and kill you before tou open your eyes!* He thought angrily.
