^ And you can easily avoid it and not get hit, and then get to smilie and kick the sh** outta her! Super Shards is far from A tier, it's a cruddy path that's only good for Story mode. Super SPINNER is A Tier (or S tier, I find her really overpowered).

And yes, I know he isn't even maxed out or even in PvP mode (and I died at the end smilie), so don't think I'm trying to heavily back up my opinions. Watch it and think about how it would in PvP, that's what I urge you to.

  • Sonic Boom S2 / Medea Griffin placed in B Tier, for now. Word on Siren Griffin would be appreciated.

As for Pop Fizz, the idea i'm getting is that Mad Scientist is better than Best of the Beast, but only by a tiny ammount. What I want to know is whether Mad Scientist is better enough that it can compete with the B Tier, or whether it just ends up in the same tier as Best of the Beast despite being slightly better.

Well for starters, Mad Scientist is more ranged than Best of the Beast (no longer range, just is better at it). Beast form doesn't really have any long-ranged attacks (as shown in the video I made), not too mention Pop Fizz moves really slowly while in that form; Long-ranged characters can easily pwn best of the beast. Best of the Beast racks up more damage, but it's just so slow and shorter-ranged, plus he leaves himself vulnerable to attack for 2-4 seconds when switching forms. Best of the Beast is useful if you can catch your opponent and stick to his/her tail, but it won't be as easy as Mad Scientist.

Mad Scientist is better, by 4 points.

I agree. I mean, a character who has to take the time to transform into a form to actually do sufficient damage is most likely a lackluster character.

I think Siren griffin would make a good B actually. She has the expanding roar, and she still can make the super baby. I'm actually thinking medea S2 should be A tier instead of B, but I'll wait on that.

Does Medea Griffin actually compete with the A Tier? As in, does she actually win comfortabley against most of the A Tier characters?
I just want to make sure of these things, because i'm starting to share Earth-Dragon's worry that people are just calling high tiers for characters they think are good without thinking about the fact that in 'Giants, the A Tier is a pretty overpowered place, what with alot of the old S Tier characters from Spyro's Adventure moving there to make room for the Giants in the new S Tier.

It has little to so with his punches and more to do with his dive ability. His Wow Pow makes him broken not his punches.

Oh and Stump smash's acorns actually do slow him down while he's digging, so he's not literally 100% invincible,

Finally something we can agree on. I mean seriously, compare this with Mad Scientist and think about which one triumphs in PvP (In case you haven't noticed, I'm now able to do gameplay videos and I'm open for requests to test thoughts; it was me playing both videos).

I died on the Beast one and my Pop Fizz isn't even maxed out, but I put it on Hard mode and the Wandering Trogs are so annoying!

The Mad Scientist video I promised is here, hope it helps.

EDIT: Sorry, I showed Best of the Beast twice. Fixed it and added Mad Scientist instead.

His punches did about 44 damage each on Brawler if I remember correctly (I recently reset my smilie to go back to Sandhog cuz I got a bit bored with Brawler, I reset him all the time), but what I fully remember is that his Uppercut combo did 54 damage! It's pretty good cuz he can actually fend for himself at the surface, Sandhog (I'm not trying to go there again) is better for underground and he's a little vulnerable out of the ground.

I do. Barrier Boost would be good for B tier (I think Paramushroom Promotion should be dropped down to D tier, the Paratroopers are so slow no matter what you do). He can go underground and not get hurt on that path, the best part. If your opponent gets too close, pop up a mushroom ring, go underground, pop the barrier (you can pop the barrier on that path by shooting it or touching it while underground, hdamaging your opponent in the process) and do the self-slingshot.

I'll better explain it with a video later. Stay tuned.

But it takes like 3 seconds to spawn 3 clones then you have to aim at them. But by then the other player would have probably hit you. It is good for running away; just running and spawning clones to stop your opponent. I reckon B is ideal for DT.

Joust Jockey, easily (as said in the annotations of my Sir Lance A Lot review). Sir Lance A Lot is soo slow compared to it (he has really low walking speed, and the charge only gives him a moderate amount of speed without Joust Jockey), and the Flock of Fury is a useless attack. The speed and damage on Joust Jockey make up for Fright Rider's low armor and average health. Sir Lance A Lot is still decent, but I like Joust Jockey better.

My only complaint with Joust Jockey is the Entombment Strike attack. Like the Spear Vault combo on Sir Lance A Lot it is REAL strong, but it's hard to aim and leaves him vulnerable to attack.

I'll be doing a review of Joust Jockey soon, as soon as I get the Soul Gem and Heroic Challenge my smilie a little more (I recently reset my guy back to Joust Jockey, I have everything but the Soul Gem and I still need to get him to Level 15).

I agree. We need to sort flashwing. For super spinner, it is unable to compete with a tier characters, like drobot and tree rex, and also oses to some b tier, bit can beat others. I suggest middle B tier for spinner, and shards are a little bit easier to control, as you just spam crystals, i think shards is high B.

^ I agree that they can both be in B, Flashwing can only beat 3 characters in the A tier, but can beat more than half of the B tier, and around 2/3 of the C, D, and E tiers. B just seems reasonable now that I think about it more.

Just remember guys, if all these new guys are pushing into the upper 3 tiers, they should be forcing Skylanders out as well.
