Cheren stirred, groaning quietly. He had a headache which made him feel slightly faint. He blinked sleep away from his eyes and yawned.

"Thank you for the offer, but I'm fine." He said. His sister smiled back.

Cheren suddenly covered his mouth, muffling a laugh. Kochima frowned. "What? What's so funny?" She asked. He uncovered his mouth, chuckling. "Your hair is a train wreck, Kochi." Kochima felt her hair.
"Is it really that bad?" Seeing as her brother continued to chuckle, she smiled. "I'll go brush it, then. Kate will bring your breakfast in soon." She stood up, smiled, then left the room, walking back towards the lounge.

OOC: Accepted. Ok, storyline...

In the first roleplay, the shadow (the evil person) destroyed the academy. All the students moved to a mansion, where they are now. In the second roleplay (this one), Kochima was kidnapped and all the other students went to save her. At Kochima's 'welcome back' party, the shadow burst in and now one of the students, Blaze, is under his control. The shadow and Blaze left, and another character Cheren is injured. Right now it is morning and the students are waking up.

Kate knocked on Cheren's door. "Cheren, may I come in? I have your breakfast."

Aimus wakes up and gets dressed then he leaves his room and goes out to the hallway.As he loves animals he sees a care bird and couldn't resist and went outside to talk to it.

Cindy saw Aimus walk outside. She had seen him around before, but had never really talked to him. She shrugged and went into the lounge.

"Yeah, go ahead." Cheren said. He seemed to be in lighter spirits, Kochima had gotten Blaze off of his mind. He stretched his arms, being mindful not to bend his wrist.

Kochima walked into the lounge. "Amy, do you have a hairbrush I can borrow please? Promise I won't break it."

Kate opened the door and stepped inside, closing the door behind her. She carefully placed a tray with cereal, toast and juice on Cheren's lap. "Are you feeling alright?" she asked.

Amy nodded. "Sure. I'll just go get it." She ran out of the lounge and upstairs to her bedroom.

"Thank you." Cheren said, picking up the spoon from the cereal bowl. He began eating slowly, relaxing his shoulders.

"Thanks Amy~!" She took the hairbrush and sat down, beginning to brush her hair. Kochima sighed. It felt like it would take quite a long time.

"Well, according to Cheren I toss and turn lots. I guess I rub my head against the pillow at night." Kochima said. A few weeks ago Cheren actually lifted his sister back into bed after hearing her thud onto the floor. Even though he was recovering, he still looked after his sister.

Kochima winced, biting her lip to stop her from saying anything. Her eyes began to water slightly as the knot was gently tugged at. She hated brushing her hair, it was always a living nightmare.

We could always make Blaze and the Shadow come back do something to all of us again.. Like, to stall, they could fill all the students' heads with nightmares so bad they don't want to sleep.. Then do something really bad with all of them struggling to stay awake and think.

Okay, I'm just spouting. I honestly don't want this to die, but the majority of the RP has only been us two..

Well, there's always the more advanced RP'ers in the RP Tips and References topic.. Though I dunno if they'd be interested. They seem to mainly be looking for mythical creature, fantasy and possible medieval roleplays right now.

Yeah, they seem to be looking for those roleplays. They could always make an RP themselves if they can't find one they like.

Ok, time-skipping to night!

It was night. (Great way to start that off, right? smilie)
Everyone in the mansion was asleep.
The shadow and Blaze had come out of their base and were standing a few metres away from the mansion, studying it carefully.
"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Blaze turned to the shadow.
"Of course it is," the shadow replied. "My plan will work perfectly. We'll give the Zodiac students such horrible nightmares that they won't want to sleep again. If we keep that up for a few nights, the students will become tired. And then, when they're very tired and can't be bothered doing anything, we strike!"
Blaze blinked. "That sounds...ok..."
"It's better than ok!" the shadow interrupted. "Now let us proceed with my plan." He grinned.

Cheren wasn't tired. He was sitting on his bed, cradling his head in his hands. All day he had slept, his mind wouldn't allow him to sleep anymore, no matter how much he wanted to. When he was awake, he was alone with his thoughts. Those thoughts made him feel more depressed and weakened, as if someone else was inside his head, torturing him. Things like, 'She could've still been here..' and 'You could've stopped him.', clouded his mind. He had come to the belief one way or another that he was responsible for the Shadow corrupting Blaze.

Kochima was sound asleep, one of her legs dangling out of the bed. Her neatly brushed hair was now in knots again, though not nearly as bad as the previous day.

"Hmm. Who should we start with first?"
The shadow had conjured up random black clouds of mist, resembling images of the students in the mansion.
"What about this one?" Blaze pointed at the one who resembled Cheren.
The shadow grinned. "Ah, the boy who likes you."
"He does?" Blaze murmured, not remembering any of her memories.
The shadow nodded and sunk into the ground, turning into an actual shadow and moving towards the house. Blaze did the same. They re-appeared again in the dark hallway.

Cheren buried his face deeper into his hands as the thoughts got more intense. He cringed, his eyebrow twitching as one of his fists clenched. In a sudden movement of anger he punched the bedside table, grazing his knuckles and sending a plastic cup rolling to the ground. 'Lies!'
The thoughts dissipated and he sat still for a few moments, his hand stinging. He gently lay down again, his fringe rolling over his face as he closed his eyes, clearing his mind. When did he become so negative? It was far better to think on the bright side of things.

The shadow and Blaze crept up to Cheren's door. They sunk into the ground as shadows and peered under the door.
"He's still awake," the shadow murmured, rising up again. "Pick someone else, Blaze."
"Erm...Kochima?" Blaze suggested.
The shadow nodded. "Ah, yes." He began to walk up the stairs.
Blaze followed.

"Aw, she's worried about her brother," the shadow paused. "That's it!" he punched in the air. "I'll give her a nightmare about her brother!" A whisp of shadow crept towards Kochima and slowly sunk into her head somehow.

OOC: Now Angel, your turn to create a horrible nightmare for Kochima! About her brother being in trouble or something. If you don't want to, I will.

The shadows settled into Kochima's mind, blanketing her thoughts with a cold touch. A scene slowly unfolded in her head, her body stiffening up;
Cheren was awake in his room, sitting on his bed. All of a sudden, whispers of pure malice echoed around the room.
"Poor, poor Cheren.." a voice sneered. "He'll never see his sister again, not after we're through with her." Cheren looked around frantically, all to find that no one was there.
"He'll be so disappointed, won't he?"
"Yes, he will." They cackled. "Now, I'm going to go.. dispose of Kochima."

That was it. Cheren bolted upright and ran out of the room. He was as healthy as he could be in Kochima's mind. He raced up the stairs, stumbling slightly near the top. The boy clambered into his sister's room, finding the door was open. Kochima gasped, sitting upright in her bed. She watched in horror as the Shadow slammed the door shut behind him, locking it. Cheren spluttered, unable to breath. Blaze lifted him into the air by his throat, the skin around her fingers freezing into ice. Kochima opened her mouth to scream but no sound came out. She couldn't move, either; All she could do was watch as her brother's body slowly turned to ice.

Amy and Cindy called into the room, but Kochima couldn't hear them. The Shadow dissolved through the door, screams of horror cut short by two thuds. He materialized behind Kochima back in the room, next to the window. He grinned, looking at Blaze and the now frozen Cheren.
"Shall we drop him, Blaze?" He asked smugly.
"He would surely smash to pieces from this high up, wouldn't he?"
"Indeed." The Shadow said, opening the window.

Kochima was frozen in her bed. She would normally be tossing and turning, but not tonight. She was as still as a rock, an expression of pure terror on her sleeping face.
