Distortion hit the ground hard, a black oil substance flying out of her mouth as she did. Did coughed a couple of times and stood up again, her eyes still locked on him as she popped her jaw back into place. Then she vanished, completely from sight and sound, and Sozinta hurried over to Levana, "Nice hit, but here's a quick full in. This girl, her name is Distortion, she's a guardian, or was... I can't really tell anymore. Long story short, knock her out. Killing her won't do us any good. also, she can create anything you've ever seen... so... be careful."

He nodded. "Thanks. I'll keep that in mind, and keep my mind focused on fluffy bunnies and puppies." he said, grinning a bit. He cracked his knuckles. "and gaurdian of what?" he asked, eyes searching, his body feeling for her energy signature on instinct. Everything tinted slightly yellow to him as he saw it's Chi. Everything had it. Everything living. Sozinta had a ****load of untapped Chi, and she glowed brightly. "and did you know that you are absolutely brimming with Chi?"

Sozinta nodded, "So I've been told before, trust me, i can't use it." She said, turning around sharply, "She's an being crated for the sole purpose of protecting one thing, moral, or idea... Distortion guards the subconscious ability in human to alter the world around them. in other words, expect EVERYTHING, because she will not only use things that inflict physical pain." She said, and took a deep breath, she glanced back at Levana from over her shoulder, "Don't blame her too much though, she doesn't know what she's showing or throwing. Right now, searching for her won't work because she's projecting herself as hidden. We're going to have to wait."

He nodded. "Alright..." he said, and waited, chi flared around him.

Sozinta's sheer chaotic energies warped around her, her green eyes scanning the area as Distortion appeared of to the side. She was leaning against a tree, appearing as if Levana hadn't even touched her. "You can stop now, I don't intend on killing anyone." She said, "However, this is subject to change." Sozinta narrowed her eyes on Distortion, "Well, Distortion, Levana. Levana, Distortion. Now that we're all antiquated, go away. Or I will kill you." Sozinta said, her vpice ever so slightly sounding like glass on a chalk board.

Levana nodded to Distortion. He wasnt getting anything off of her at all... "bye the way, she isnt teaming up with me. I work for her." he said. He was covering for Sozinta's reputation.

Distortion nodded, "Sure, sure... What ever you say... " She said, and shrugged, "Look, either tell me what the hell you know, or leave me alone." "Last I checked, you dropped in on me... " Sozinta said, rolling her eyes.

Levana nodded. "Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's what happened. I was asleep when you showed up." He admitted, and laughed a bit nervously. He was still very shirtless.

Distortion waved her hand, "Ah, details, details!" She said. Sozinta just sighed, "Look, if you don't know now, it's not important. So just do what you've been doing, Distortion." She said, pointing at Distortion. Distortion took a moment to study the two, ignoring Sozinta's remark, "Hey, you have a boy friend don't you?" "HOW THE HELL DID YOU GET THAT IDEA?!"

Levana sweat dropped. "Whoa..." He muttered to himself. Women. "I'm staying out of this, this time... You two beat each other up, from this point on, I'm staying out of it." He said, backing up slowly, hands raised, Chi flicking back down to nothing visible.

Sozinta just sighed, "I'm not going to beat her up about about it... jeez... " She said. Distortion only laughed, "Sure, sure. What ever you say..." And the purple haired girl faded from sight.

Levana sweat dropped again... "She creeps me the hell out." He stated.

Sozinta nodded, "She should... and she didn't use half of what she could have to beat us." She said, "Believe it or not, that girl was once human... "

Levana sighed... "I do believe it, unfortunately..."

Sozinta looked over at Levana, "Well, no point in dwelling on what was or what could have been." She said, "Unless you have any objections, I believe I'd like to go anywhere other than here for the moment."

He nodded. "I agree completely. Let get the f-ck out of here."

Sozinta nodded, and started towards where her car had been. Once reaching it, she opened the door and got in.

He hopped in too, and then looked over at her... "You really flipped your sh-t when she mentioned boyfriends."

Sozinta's checks reddened a little, "It was nothing... she just knows I haven't seen another of my species since I was still young... She's just a rotten b*tch, and I was already mad at her." She said.

He watched her cheeks redden... His dream suddenly popped into his head and he blushed a bit too. He looked away.

Sozinta started her car up, slowly pulling out of the parking lot. She started on the road soon afterward, driving along quietly.

It was a quiet, thinking silence, for the both of them.

She remained silent the rest of the drive.Once back at the house, she got out of the car and headed inside.

Levana followed her, aand grabbed chips out of the cabinet.

Sozinta sat down on the couch, letting out a loud sigh. Her bright green eyes wandered around the room for a moment before she looked over at Levana, "You were staring at me earlier, you know." She said.

He blinked. "was I? I didn't notice." he said, and crunched a chip.

"You were, at the pool... " Sozinta said, her eyes piercingly bright against the rest of her. "What ever, it was probably nothing."

He felt his face getting hot, and couldnt look away from her eyes... He promptly got lost in them.

Sozinta blinked, "Hey, Levana, you're spacing out on me." She said.

He startled. "What?" he asked, surprised. "oh, sorry." he said, face flaming. He turned away, hiding it.

"Hey, your face is all red!" Sozinta said, standing up, "You better not have gotten sick and not have told me." She said.

"No, it's- I'm not sick, I promise." he said, and would've attempted to abscond if he thought it would've actually gotten him away from Sozinta.

"Hmm... Well, I'm going to get you some medicine anyway. Better safe than sorry." Sozinta said, going off to the bath room, returning with one ibuprofen. "swallow this with some water."

He sighed, and took it, swallowing. "happy?" he said.

"Yes." Sozinta said, sighing, "Look,I may sound like a worried old woman right now, but who else would I drive crazy if you got sick?" She said smiling.

He laughed quietly, and smiled back. "Thanks, it's SO nice to know you CARE." He said with sarcasm, then drank the rest of the water.

Sozinta laughed, and then sat back down on the couch, "Exactly." She said.

He rolled his eyes, and went to the kitchen, taking his chips with him.

Sozinta just chuckled to her self, stretching a bit.

Levana sighed, and leaned his forehead against the wall... "Wonderful." he muttered.

Sozinta stretched out of the couch, turning the television on.

Levana stared at the wall, looking troubled.

Sozinta looked up at the door way andsighed, flipping through channels with a bored expression on her face.

He muttered to himself and went out back again, sitting on the back step and eating the chips.

Sozinta heard him go outside, and stood up. She headed outside, her eyes lingering on the stars above. "It's been almost two years now... Since the Earth stopped moving... I'm used to there being no morning, no sunlight... It's funny, really. For no explainable reason the planet is just suspended in space. Never moving, never changing... " She said quietly.

Levana blinked. "I'd been meaning to ask about that."

Sozinta looked down at Levana, "It's strange isn't it? The plants don't die... The people won't panic... " She said, and looked back up. "The planet just sits in place, not orbiting nor rotating. Neither does it's moon... "

He frowned. "It's not normal. This shouldn't be happening." he said, staring up at the strange moon.

"Tell me something I don't know." Sozinta replied. She looked down at Levana again, "Honestly, it even has my organization baffled."

"is that why youre back here?" he asked, curious.
