The dragon looked strange and phycotic. "hello!" he said in a twisted voice.

Fireflight landed beside Frostbolt, still looking at the dragon.
"who are you?" she asked.

"i am nova." he walking tword them.

Fireflight took a couple steps back. not only did she not know this dragon, but he seemed evil.

Nova walked twords fireflight. "Are you SCARED?!" frostbolt shoved him. "you step away from her!" frostbolt's scales run as he shoved nova.

"i'm not scared" she replied.

Frostbolt looked as he paws. "owww...."
Nova luaghed as he walked tword fireflight. "Sure you arn't..."

Fireflight stood firm now.
"careful, you wouldn't want to see me in a bad mood" she snarled.

Frostbolt luaghed. " no kidding.."
Nova smiled and touched her face, "oo... fiesty.."

Fireflight bit his paw.
"ok, now i'm getting irritated"

"oo.... I like you" he siged.
"rrrrr...." frostbolt slammed nova in the jaw. "DO... NOT... TOUCH... HER!"

"what he said" Fire said, pointing to Frost.

Frostbolt grabbed Nova by the neck. "NOW.... what is it you want?"
Nova luaghed as he grabbed frost's arm and burned it. Frost let go and held his arm.

Fire growled angerly.
"don't touch him!" she growled. she then blasted Nova with earth.

Frostbolt looked at the burn. "dam.. thats hot..."
The earthblast melted as it touched Nova. "To hot."

Fire growled in frustration.
"you mean not hot enough. i'm part fire dragon, i don't get hot"

"OOO... I can make you... hot. I guarentee it..." nova grinned walking tword fireflight. Frostbolt shot ice at him, but it just evaporated.

Fire stood firm. she surrounded herself with a wall of earth.

Nova walked tword the mall and it melted and he touched fireflight. the he teleported them away.

Fireflight was fine at the moment. the heat didn't bother her.

They were in a dark cave lit up by tourches. Fireflight was starapped to a table. "now.... where were we..."

"you were bragging about tough you think you are"

"now.... how could you be so beautiful... and yet so mean?" he said as he sat down next to her.

"flattery will get you nowhere"

" Excuse me for complimenting you....." he said as he walked over to a shelf.

"hmph. save your breath. i've heard all kinds of sweet talk, and comliments, so don't even think that it will work"

"now..... if frostbolt were to say that to you.... you would appreciate it.." he said as he left.

"whatever..." she muttered.

Nova walked around outside. "now.... wheres starfire..."

Starfire was at the elder's temple, babysitting the little ones, as Night and Shadow talked with Goldstar.

Nova flew to the elders temple and melted the main entrance. "Wheres starfire?" he asked one of the elders calmly.
Frostbolt teleported next to fireflight. "good thing i can always find you.... you okay?"

the elder looked at him, and quietly pointed down the hall. the laughter of young dragons could be heard coming from a small room. the kids had been playing all day under the watchful eye of Starfire.
:meanwhile:
"yeah. all he did was tie me to the table. he walked outside a little while ago. i don't know where he went. we should hurry to the temple. i'm afraid of what he might do if he finds the others"

"he surtenly does seem to be a strange fello....." he said as he untied fireflight. "I'm just glad your allright."

Nova thanked the elder and walked down the hallway into the room where starfire was.

"he's more than that. and i don't plan on letting him anywhere near my family. if he so much as lays one claw on them, i'll kill him myself"
:meanwhile:
Star looked at the dragon who just entered the room. the kids stopped playing, and looked at him as well. Starfire walked towards him, glaring at him.
"who are you? what do you want?" she snarled. she was determined to protect the kids at all costs.

Nova walked around starfire and sat down in the room. "nothing."

Starfire continued to glare at him. the kids looked at her, nervously. she looked towards the door, indicating them to leave the room. they rushed out the door, hoping she would be ok. Starfire walked around Nova, and looked at his face.
"you can't just barge in here like this. either tell me what it is you're doing here, or i'm going to tell the elders there's an intruder" she said.

Firelfight ran outside, and began to fly towards the temple.

"oooo..... well...." he leaned forward and kissed her.

Frostbolt grabbed fireflight and teleported them into the temple. "thats the fast way."

Starfire slapped him, and clawed at his face.
"jerk! don't ever touch me again!" she growled. her eyes began to glow red.
Fireflight sensed something was wrong.
"it's Starfire! somethings upset her!" she said, running inside. the elders looked at her, and knew why she had come. they pointed to the hallway, and watched Fire run past them. Fire ran into the room, and growled at the sight of Nova.
"you get away from my duaghter this instant!" she growled.

"oowww.... that hurt... allot.." he said a tear rolled down his face. he looked truthfully upset. Frostbolt walked in behind fireflight.

"you'll feel more pain than that if you don't get away from me!" Star growled. Fire growled as well.
"i second that!"

"...." nove covered his face and backed into a corner.

Star looked at Fireflight.
"Mom, go see where the kids ran off to. i can take it from here" she said, calmly. her eyes stopped glowing. Fire hesitated before leaving the room. Starfire looked back at Nova. "stop acting like a wimp. i only clawed your face, geez. either leave, or get up, and stop crying"

"okay.." he uncovered his face and there was actually a deep gash below his eye. "is it bad?"

Star walked over and looked at it.
"man, i really did get you good" she said. she then put her paw over it, and healed him. "is that better?"

"thanks.... that was a bit of an over-reaction.." he said s he smiled and luaghed a bit.

Star smiled.
"well, that's an empath for you. we can be hopping mad one minute, and calm the next"

"a what-path?" he said curiously.

Frost was eavsdropping, "thats odd.... he seems to be nice to star...."

"an empath. it's a kind of dragon that runs in my family. my mom is one, two of my ancestors were one, my aunt is one, and i'm one. we're dragons, that are usually female, and can master pretty much all the elements: fire, ice, electricity, earth, wind, poison, shadow, fear, and of course empathy. there are three types of empaths, well so far at least, theres light, dark, and ice. me and my mom are light empaths, like one of my ancestors. all empaths use a powerful emotion to access a powerful fury that cna pretty much wipe out anything in it's path. the stronger the emotion, the stronger the fury. rage is an emotion often used among empaths, but it isn't th only one. when we get angry, our eyes glow red, which is really only a warning. though, if our whole body starts to glow, that's when we'll start to use a fury. empaths can also use emotions to channel the powers of other dragons. light empaths feel all emotions, dark empaths feel only darker emotions like anger, and ice empaths can't actually feel emotion. instead, they glow, and everyone around them acts on that emotion, and start a fight, often killing each other as the empath sits there. sorry for the long lecture. hope i didn't bore you"

"no.. that wasn't boring at all!" he said cheerfully. "can i hang out with you?"

Star smiled. it had been a while since she hanged out with someone that wasn't family.
"well, i don't mind, but my mom would freak. she's very protective of me. and often treats me like a little kid"
