"Hold on tight!" Zoron said as a bright flash of light sparked and then faded away. They were gone all that was left were red hot glowing rocks and a few scales. A second later Shade, Zoron and Shadmé were at a very big coliseum. The tall pillars around showed their age and indicated that it was there for thousands of years. "Welcome to the training grounds young ones."

Shadmé leapt to her paws and looked around in awe, gaping. "Whoa...this place is crazy! Crazy cool, that is!"

"Yes it is but enough looking around now is the time to control your light element Shade. Now is the time to train!" Zoron said as a few targets came up from underground platforms. "Now close your eyes and concentrate. Feel the sun's light as it fills you with energy. Feel the warmth as it flows across your wings."

Shade closed his eyes and unfolded his wings to allow them to absorb the light. His horns began to glow brighter.

"Yes that's it my boy, that's it! Now face the targets. Hit them with your light beam attack."

Shade opened his eyes and faced the targets. He then opened his mouth and a bright beam of light hit the target.

Shade smiled at Shadmé with a big smile.

"Now remember young Shade don't push yourself to much for you are still young and you are not yet in control of your light element." Zoron said. "But you are strong and willing to defend others with your life so I will teach you the ultimate light attack.....the hyper light blast."

Shade looked at Shadmé then back at Zoron with amazement.

"Now Shade you must listen very closely because this attack is very powerful and may drain your energy a lot so only use it as a last resort." Zoron said. "Now close your eyes concentrate, calm yourself." He looked at Shadmé. "Stand close to him it'll help him better channel his energy."

Shade looked at Shadmé waiting for her. He smiled at her. His horns were glowing slightly.

Shade blushed a little as Shadmé brushed up against his wings. He then looked at the target and closed his eyes.

"Now open your wings allow the sun's rays to flow from them to your entire body. Hold it untill your enemy lets their guard down." Zoron said.

Shade opened his wings and they to began to glow like his horns. At first it was faint then it began to glow ever brighter with each passing minute. His horns began to release stored up energy like statistic. Then he opened his eyes and mouth. A small sphere of light formed in front of it and another formed in between his horns. Then a bright flash of light followed by a bit of dust kicked up then a very loud explosion. Then the light suddenly faded. There was a very large burn mark on the ground and no targets left.

"Well done my boy! Well done indeed." Zoron said clapping his paws. "You've done very well young Shade."

"Thank you master." He bowed his head. "But I couldn't of done it without Shadmé's help." He then nosed her.

Shade blushed when Shadmé complemented him.

"You've done very well my young apprentice. But I have one more thing to teach you. Regaining your energy." Zoron said. "To regain your energy all you have to do is spread your wings and allow the sunlight to be absorbed."

Shade did feel weak after using his hyper light beam. He spread his wings and started to regain his strength. He smiled at Shadmé and kissed her on the cheek.

"I also have a gift for you to have. Here take it and knowing you are strong enough to handle it's power." Zoron said as he handed Shade the Primal orb of Light.

Shade took it with pride. But when he did it suddenly started to glow extremely brightly and he couldn't let go of the orb. He then felt a overwhelmingly sense of power going into his body. "GAH!!" He then collapsed on to the ground.

"Stay strong Shade!! Merge with the orb! Feel its power, let it flow through you!!!!" Zoron said.

Shade gringed his teeth as the light orb merged into his chest and disappeared from view. Shade then was very still.

Shade moned a little. He opened his eyes and looked at Shadmé. He gently nosed her.

"T-that was painful." Shade said with a shaky voice. His horns were still glowing a little. He then let his head droop into Shadmé's wings for he was still recovering from the mergeing.

Shade smiled at her. "I hope so as well." He said.

"Enough training for today Shade. You and Shadmé can rest in my quarters."

Shade gave a slight nod.
