"Artica! my great grandma!" said Fireflight.
"indeed. Artica may be an ice empath, and doesn't show emotions, but she is indeed an empath, and it will work. all you have to do, Frostbolt, is stab her in the chest with a power-abosrbing dagger" said Goldwing. then he handed Frostbolt a blue-bladed dagger with a black handle.

frostbolt grabbed the dagger, "the things i could have done years ago with this.. o well.. thankyou.."

"just be careful. Artica isn't easy to find, and she'll kill you if she gets the chance. even if you take her empathy, she is a master of ice, and even though your an ice dragon, she will fight you with ice" said Fireflight.

ooc: ok, bye.

"well... i think i can take the cold that she can deal out... i have before..." frostbolt gripped the dagger tight. "I know where she is.... and i know i'll find White there too..."

"Artica loves to out-wit or out-smart her enemies. she'll try every trick in the book to defeat you. don't believe a word she says. just take her powers, and get away from her. it won't be easy, and she won't give up without a fight" Fireflight said.

"yeah... don't forget.. i've fought her many times before..." frostbolt walked out of the cave.

Frostbolt teleported into a cave far north "Artica.... come out... i know you in here.."

ooc: not much with me either. except i was on wajas today.
"ah, Frostbolt, how nice of you to visit.....but i know why you have come.....you will not be taking my powers......leave now before i decide i want to kill you......" a female voice growled.

"okay.. fair enough...." frostbolt threw the dagger out side the cave. "happy?"

"much...but i know that Fireflight must have told you things about me...as well as my old fiend, Goldwing..."
"don't fret, my queen, i shall deal wiht him!" growled a polar bear, who stood behind Frostbolt, with a large, two-handed sword, ready to attack.

Frostbolt turned around and grabbed he sword and snapped it in half... he turnedback around. "so how have you been the past 500 years..."

"lonesome, honestly...i've been waiting for a helpless soul to wander to my lair, so i could finally feel what it is like to rip someone to shreds again...ah, those were the days...the good old days where wars were fought, and i could kill something every single day....oh, how i miss those days..."

"i used to miss them,, but i have a family now..."

"yes, i know....normally, i would say how that sickens me....but....i too have a family...."

"o you finnally found some one?"

"i'm a tad surprised you don't know......me and White are......lets just say that i cannot show myself at the moment because i am taking care of an egg....."

'O so thats not the real you.... i kinda expected that..."
white appeared behind frostbolt. should i kill him dear?

"you shall...i am worried for the egg....he may try to destroy it...."
"yes...." she said. then a polar bear walked up to Frostbolt, carrying another large sword, although this one looked stronger.

frostbolt looked at the shadows. "hello white.... and some polar bear i don't know.."
white had a dragonslaying sorwd.

the polar bear striked first. he tried to stab Frost in the chest.
"the polar bear only talks to me, and White of coarse" she snarled.

"thats interesting..." frostbolt sidesteped and doged the sorwd but white cut frostbolt's arm open with the sorwd.
"rrrrr."
"your going to die frostbolt..."
"says you!" he growled.
"says science.... that was a dragon slaying sorwd..."
"rrrrr... well... if i am to died.... then i'm taking you all with me!"

Artica roared angerly.
"kill him! now!!" she growled. then an army of polar bears surrounded Frost with large swords, all ready to attack. "make sure my egg is protected!" she continued. the polar bears nodded in unison. then they all triked at once.

Frostbolt covered himself in ice, useing it like armor, he killed the polar bears and pinned white the ground and had his claws on whites throat.
"go ahead.. kill me! it will make my child fatherless!"
"what different will it make?! I'm going to hell already anyway!" frostbolt said as he slit white's throat. he looked over to Artica.

Artica clutched a light blue egg with white spots, which appeared to look like snow. she looked worried for once in her life. she looked down at her egg, and then at Frostbolt. then with a flap of her wings, she rose up into the air, and flew out of the lair. she disappeared surrounded by a snowstorm outside.

he ran deeper into the cave knowing that that wasn't the real her.

Artica was in the deepest part of the cave. she was running through small, dark tunnels, as she carried her egg.

frostbolt made a thick wall of ice infront of artica so that she couldn't run any farther.

Artica turned to face him. there was a look of fear in her eyes. the fear was not of her life, but of the egg. she may have been evil, but she cared for that egg more than anything. she looked down at her egg, and a small tear ran down her cheek, and fell onto the egg. she then chanted a spell, and sent the egg away.

frostbolt grinned and went t kill her but right before he got to her he dropped to the floor.

Artica looked at him. then, in an instant, she ran out of there as fast as she could.

Frostbolt used the las of his strangth to teleport back to the cave.

Fireflight looked at him.
"whats wrong? what happened?" she knew something was wrong.
meanwhile, Artica was just now leaving her mountain lair. her egg, however, because of the spell she used, the egg was sent to the only family there was...Fireflight...
"Mom!! you might wanna come see this!" Starfire yelled. a light blue egg with white spots had magically appeared in front of her.

"t...thats white's...a...nd.. artica's egg..."

Starfire gasped in shock.
"what?! they had an egg?! then what the heck is it doing here?!"
"she must have sent it here, hoping it would be safe...there is a spell to send any egg, hatchling or young dragon to a family member...we must have been the only ones..." said Fireflight.

"I.... killed.. white... but he cut me witha dragon slaying sword......"

Fireflight went over to heal him, but her paw was cut by a piece of blade that was stuck in him. she groaned at the pain. there was a large cut across her paw, and blood was gushing out of it.

the cut stopped bleeding, but it still hurt. Starfire watched the egg, which was starting to crack.
"um....we got a situation over here..." she said. Fireflight looked at the egg.
"oh no....the birth of another evil ice dragon...." she said. then she turned to frostbolt. she then tried to heal him.

i don't think that its going to help..."

"it was worth a try...." she replied. Star watched the egg. the egg cracked more, and moved around.
"what about the egg....?" she asked, still watching it.

frostbolt's breathing slowed.

Fireflight starting chanting spells to help him. Starfire watched the egg, which cracked more and more.

"don't worry about me... i'll die any way... go find Artca."

"i'm not leaving you..." said Fireflight. Star looked at them.
"i'll go...i'm sure she'd like to know her egg is hatching..." she said. then Star walked to the cave entrance. she looked back before leaving. "i should be back soon..." she said. then she was pulled outside. you could hear a scream, then a blade go through somone, then silence. then a large, dragon-shaped shaowy figure stood at the cave entrance.
"where is my egg?!!" a female voice growled.

"ar..tica... y..your egg.. is fine..." frostbolt's eyes closed.

OOC: i got to go.

ooc: ok, bye.

Artica saw her saw her egg. she walked over to it, grabbed it, and then glared at Fireflight.
"your daughter is outside....although you will not be happy to see her...!" she laughed evily. then she disappeared surrounded by a pale mist.

frostbolt opened his eyes slowly, "save starfire..."

Fireflight hesistated only for a moment, and then ran outside. she then saw Starfire laying motionless, with a dragon-slayer sword all the way through her chest. there was blood everywhere. Fireflight felt sick to her stomach at the sight, and instantly broke into tears.
