All this wouldn't do for Beryor - he didn't feel confident in his ability to take on more than one dragon without losing control of himself. Hunting worked sometimes, but eventually he always had to move when war claimed his hunting grounds. What could he do? Maybe some mercenary work - hopefully nobody would recognize him for any crimes. Corruption was also a rather scary thought. Fish only came for so long, though, and there were only so many animals you could get from a forest before it was depleted, if the war didn't see it ravaged.

Perhaps what he needed was a stratagem.

Zen tapped his talons together as a signal to the surrounding troops to circle around the group in tight formation encase anything happened

"Now that your entered I'm afraid I can't let you leave till this war is over girl, don't try and escape as it won't end well so you might as well comply"

He gazed back at Elicora

Elicora stood. "It's not her fault shes an easy target" Elicora said looking at Emie. Emir ducked her head embarrassed by the comment.

Regeil sighed blatantly. "Way to go, genius. I've been almost right next to you for over ten minutes. It's not my fault you don't look down at smaller dragons." He shrugged, turning away from Icestorm. Technically he was only half Icestorm's height.

Jade made a low growl, and stepped forward. "Are you a spy or something?" She asked.

Cosmii nonchalantly sat on her haunches, still perched on Legend's back, gazing upward.
"Oh, nothing, nothing at all," she squeaked, not even trying to hide the sly tone in her voice. She was up to something.

Legend sighed. "What are you up to now? Should I be worried?" He asked. He then remembered something. "Shouldn't you be home, doing whatever it is you do?"

"Me? Spy? Hahah, no...." Regeil laughed. "I made a kill, no thanks to the ruckus you two were causing with your mooning." He pointed a claw at what was left of his meal which was basically skin and a few bones. "Besides, I was just off to seek a lone island guarded by a highly powerful monster, kill it, and live there peacefully." He shrugged nonchalantly. "And I'll tell you right now, you don't even have half a chance of killing my old friend."

"Well, at least your nose is working." Sighed Regeil. He turned around. "Hmph. Fine. Fight me if you dare. But remember, when this is all through, you asked for it." He glared at the two of them. "I am the lost weapon of the ShadowFlame regiments. I am Regeil."

"I'm Jade." Jade growled, obviously annoyed.

"Like I'm scared of that little runt." Jade growled. She sat down, starting to lose interest in the conversation.

Jade growled in a lower toned. "Fine." She said icily.

"Pah. I've fought bigger. And badder. And meaner." He spat back. He winced at their show of affection. "And don't do that. It's revolting." He growled.

"well your sister isn't going anywhere, had it been someone else and someone older they would be dead" he spat in a aggressive tone "I'm come to far to let my plan be risked because of war or moral conduct"

He passed himself back and forth deciding on her temporary home before hitting a idea. The old leader had a mistress who's lair was the second last floor of the tower, why he had his mate in a separate floor to him he never understood but ever since the leader was killed and the mistress vanished from fear of being assassinated the room has been gathering dust

"You will stay in the tower in the floor just one floor under where me and my betrothed live, least be glad it isn't a prison or daycare"

Emie nodded as she looked up to the skies.

"She will have care?" Elicora asked. It really was more a demand than a question.

He acknowledged the concern and demanding tone in Elicora's reply, grinning in his mind like a idiot that despite how harsh they were on the outside in the inside were not complete monsters through to be fair about the killing aspect he never killed innocents and was more of a bluff to compel the youngster to behave

"Lets go back to the tower then, I'll leave you with your sister if you want to reconnect and have a tea party...I've got things to attend to" with a smile he launched to the air and flew towards the tower

Elicora and Emie followed Zen back to the tower silently. "Sooo betrothed?" Emie said. "Yes" Elicora replied.

"Wha? Oh yeah... about that," Cosmii began, actually seeming a bit more nervous.

*Nothing happened here, damn lag*

"Love....." Regeil glared at them. "Love is for the weak. It's because you're too weak to stand on your own, you need another person to lean on." He flicked his tail. "I once loved. All it got me was hurt." He scoffed.

"No. It wasn't betrayal. It was darkness." He hissed. "I can't be corrupted. I never was. My body may have been, but I wasn't born with a corruptible soul." He clawed the ground. "Shadowflame is all I knew! I grew up there! I was tortured there. I loved there. And I died there...." He yelled, but said the last one almost softly.

Regeil backed away. "Stop where you are, scum!" He glared piercingly at him. "It's not like I had a choice. I am who I am and nothing will change that."

Jade looked at Regeil for a few extra seconds, and turned, following Icestorm without a word.

"And what of you? You live in a delusional veil and justify what you do 'for the good of all'." He retorted. "You think you can change this war? You think there will be peace if you just kill, kill, and kill?"

"Ha. Great ideal. It's never going to work. Dragons are evil at heart." He looked away. "They always were, and always will be. There will always be suffering. Where there is suffering, there is death. Where there is death, there is suffering. All winds lead to hell..." He said evenly and spread his wings.

OOC: Legend didn't reply yet(sorry if I'm being pushy).

OOC: Blargh! I thought I replied.

"Oh no, what are you up to?" Legend asked, with a building concern.

"Find hope in a world of darkness. Find hope where day after day you're locked, unable to move, unable to resist the things they do to you. Find hope while you're being tortured, your guts are spilling out and they just slap it back in and keep stabbing. Find hope at the edge of your life knowing there's no way out. FIND HOPE WHEN YOU SEE THE ONE PERSON YOU LOVE TORTURED AND MURDERED RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU!" He roared loudly, then realized he said too much. "And you can't do a thing about it but watch......." He whispered. No. No tears. Not now.... He began to cry swiftly turning and speeding away. No one will see me like this. No one......at all....

At that very instant, something glimmered in Cosmii's left paw, followed by her claws clenching deeper into Legend's scales.

Regeil ignored that. He closed his eyes, launching as high as he could into the air. The clouds. The free expanse of the sky to drown his sorrows.

One dragon in the sky. Perhaps a good source of information - Beryor adjusted his course to meet this dragon. With luck, he could figure out the next battlefield to loot, or a job opportunity.

Flooden swooped through the sky, examing everything. He had no place to be, nor anywhere he wanted to be. I need to soothe my mind. I must land soon. Get some rest... As he flew, he noticed some land. It appears to be isolated. Good. I'm in no condition to pick a fight. He landed and settled himself atop a rock.
