It looks like NSW might have it in stock in some areas but the rest of Australia will have to wait a while.

This is something we will have wait and see if they are being released in stores and when they have a more of a national release. I had just come across these pages both with that date and thought I would share with all the fellow Australian skylanders hunters, so until we have a closer date or start finding them in our nearby stores this maybe our date for wave 2, I didn't think we would have to wait this long for it but if you think about it this is a smart time to release them to Australia as we don't have the massive Black Friday and online sales all of our big last minute sales are December.

You and me both. I'm going to wait until the US get W3 and if we don't get W2 by then I'm going to do a mass order of everything from W2/3 that I don't have yet. This is just stupid, I hope we don't need to wait until early Feb for the Sneak character.
I haven't played everyone from W1, time/score attack yet, or Tower of Time, it's just that it's idiotically long to wait three more months to get 100%- and I also want to play some of the new characters I'm really anticipating like Spy Rise because there will be spoilers of them everywhere. Honestly, I'm tired of waiting to have to rush to the store when they actually receive stock so much that I'd be ok paying however much shipping would be so that I wouldn't have to visit.
If we just had some kind of pre-order system this time, I would be more accepting of it, but the stock in my area isn't too hot so if I don't get what I want the day it comes out, I'll probably never see it again. Pre-orders prevented that- not enough stock for the pre order demand here, but it did lock EB into ordering more figures to give yours to you. I guess Skylanders is just too popular in my area

@Dragon-Master IIRC NSW got the new waves last in Giants? Well, grats to them for getting it in stock. I hope that indicates that the wave will come out everywhere sooner, but my hopes are low.

Ouch, now I feel bad for mentioning, thankfully stock isn't so bad where I am.

This is my first time getting skylanders at launch, and well it's an experience I'd prefer to never repeat :/

Through my own impatience I already have legendary night shift, legendary zoo lou, legendary free ranger, legendary Grim Creeper and enchanted hoot loop waiting at a shipping agent. If wave 2 doesn't reach our shores soon enough I think they'll be joining the others at the shipping agent!!

Last year and earlier this year I did the same for the giants variants and ordered them online. With the exception of Granite Crusher which ended up in store as a surprise a few days later, all the others such as Legendary Stealth Elf, Molten Hot Dog, Jade Flashwing, Polar Whirlwind and Scarlet Ninjini took months before I saw them in a store. Personally I think that a 1 month difference with USA is long enough.

I will probably be ordering Enchanted Hoot Loop online, but I hope that Big W doesn't give me a nasty surprise like last year and release him in store shorty after ordering online.

I read Wave2 is to be released here late Nov. A few people have managed to get them at Target, but I haven't seen them in the 4 nearest Target's to me in Sydney.

I don't think it is fair that the game is released in the US and they get wave 2 so soon, and we are still waiting for wave 2 while the US is preparing for wave 3. Companies can ship things internationally a lot better than that in this day and age!

I got a Skylanders Mega Bloks Crusher's Pirate Ship today at Target for $34, then got home and found that EB have dropped theirs to $19. Managed to get one at my local EB so will be returning the other to Target. Original price is $69.

Have not seen any in the Targets near to me in Sydney either. Target in Hurstville apparently has the Wave 2 swappers but that's a little out of the way for me. See this FB post:

Not sure if this has been mentioned or not, but I was looking at something for swap force on our system and noticed Jolly Bumble BLast on their, so not sure if everyone is getting it but it's on the TRU system, no order for it, so it might come direct from activision if it's an exclusive.

Well it's the first I have herd about jolly bumble blast in Australia, good to know we are getting it and the wear we just now have to wait for the when but thanks for the info so far

For anyone in Sydney who missed out on Dino-Rang, I was just at Kmart Chatswood and they had three for $5 each.

Aww, I was going to order the LR/Zook/Cynder triple, but it sold out now. Oh well.
SA Stuff at Target is sold out now actually... Though they have LC Pop Fizz who I know is kind of rare at the moment- he's at the regular 17.95 price but better than buying on eBay probably. Not really worth it because of the S2 but for people who missed out and want him it's an easy way to get one.

Good to hear we're getting Jolly Bumble Blast somehow, though.

Jolly bumbleblast hopefully come before christmas... But then again if they come before christmas that means we got him at the same time as wave 2? Or will we get wave 3 by christmas same like the us...? Any info?

I personally think wave 2+3 will drop together for Australia and likely before Christmas. My best guess will be mid December.

Some more Targets are showing stock. From another forum:

I just went to my Target at Belconnen mall today in Canberra. They had a lot of double packs with night shade and boom jet, and fire kraken and grilla drilla. I didn't bother to pick one up since there was literally a 2 meter shelf full of them and the line was too long. I also checked K-mart but they still only had wave 1.

I managed to get both Night Shift/Boom Jet and Fire Kracken/Grilla Drilla at Castle Hill NSW. There was only one opack of each left when I left!

Just found the double packs (Night Shade and Boom Jet, and Fire Kraken and Grilla Drilla) at the Brisbane Myer Centre Target.

I got one of each; leaving 2 of each on the shelf.

I just bought grilla drilla fire kraken and boom jet night shift yesterday at target in melb CBD couldn't believe my eye till i'm holding it and paid at the register

Gold Coast Target stores still do not have any Wave 2 in stock. Personally I think it may have been delayed here due to the storms experienced in the past week.

Also I ordered Enchanted Hoot Loop on ebay as I was getting impatient with the stores lack of Wave 2 here.

Just found of Skylanders Facebook page that an Australian retailer has been fined for selling wave 2 packs before release date, but no release date was given. So we do have an official release date for them but when well the best we have is 5/12 which is getting closer and looking more like the date

I have read that too link too but I personally don't believe it to be true. If there was an official release date for Wave 2 other than the online December 5, we would have known about it. Also it would seem cruel in a way for a store to receive stock and be unable to sell it for weeks. Also the guy says his source was EB Games which I would not consider a reliable source. Personally I think EB Games started a rumour because they are probably jealous that they haven't gotten Wave 2 in some or their stores yet and because their sales in Skylanders haven't been as good as the other stores.

On a side note, it appears that Free Ranger has become the new Swarm. I am seeing huge numbers of Free Ranger everywhere.

I somehow get the feeling that Target got the second set of double packs exclusively or were given them early. It's just odd that no other store is putting them on the racks. I'm visiting mine today so fingers crossed I run into W2, I want to use Boom Jet already.

(In Australia,) only Target sells the swapper double packs so no competition.

The Target double packs are listed as 'in stock' while Big W list them all as preorder for December 5.
I am assuming other retailers such as JB, EB games, Kmart, will be getting Wave 2 on Dec 5.

Sorry missed the enchanted hoot loop online and also just to jet you all know not all Big W Stores have stock and I used the click and collect option for my local store and it told be it would be available by the 4 December.

Also with Target not all stores have their stock yet either but it's not like there in this weeks catalogue on sale

Same here, my local Big W's did not have any Enchanted Hoot Loop in stock either and said that they would have it on Monday at the earliest. However I did manage to find the Wave 2 swappers in my local Target.

Anyone seen the Wii U bundle at their local Big W yet?

No Big W here had any yet Joondalup WA store told me there shipment would be in tomorrow at 11:30. So I just ordered online. Got the 2 twin packs at Target though.

Didn't see the bundle but wasn't realy looking for it, with enchanted hoot loop this is not looking good for Big W, well hope everyone finds him soon

Just visit my local big W, they havent got enchanted hoot loop yet... To make it worse when i ask for it the store clerk told me yes this is the one u r looking for (while pointing at hoot loop) and he was pretty sure when i show him the enchanted hoot loop from my phone to him. haha... Another skylanders awkward situation...

Seems like BigWs in some areas had a delivery problem. My local (Winston Hills NSW) had about a dozen at 10am.

Wii U - they had plenty of those too. Was talking to a lady who had a wii u starter pack in her trolley and I said my kids were getting the wii U version for xmas, and she said "whoops, glad I talked to you.....I need the Wii version! " and there was only one of those left on the shelf.

I also checked Capalaba Big W this evening and not there either.

For clarification, I mean the Wii U bundle with Wii U and game in one box and not just the starter pack.

Bash I had a similar problem where they guy toyed to tell me and the women in front of me that they are the same as regular hoot loop and we told him no its not then he said the reason he was having trouble locating it at all because their system doesn't show individual characters because they all have the same code because its a different price then the other swap characters and its an exclusive to them, he said nothing.

Haha... Thanks for sharing the same situation today i'm gonna check it again.. But if it not on the shelf i'll just go away to come another day (don't bother asking the staff)

I don't think it will have Royal Double Trouble as it has a picture of regular Series 2 Double Trouble on the front along with Series 2 Cynder and Jet-Vac

If this is how we get royal double trouble officially Skylanders variant exclusives have hit a new low unless your after a new tv then over $1000 is a bit much for one character
